I came here about 13 days ago, I went for a fill for my pedicure and manicure. I arrived at 11:30am when nobody was there and didn't leave until almost 3, three people worked on my nails, and it was quite stressful. I tried to give grace and not complain about how long it took since they were short staffed, but the quality was very poor. I have never had a nail simply break or fall off and I had 2 fall off before the two week period. The two young techs I'm sure are great as they really had so much work, but it's a shame the establishment has hires who are not equipo to be nail techs. My nails were poorly filled and u could see the acrylic color difference from my last appointment. I always get French, and it was a very poor first impression. I will not be returning and will be instead going back to my other salon. I did have high hopes since they have high ratings. I think they may delete reviews, but I think for me to go back I would have to make sure the two young techs are the only ones who work on my nails. My clear top coat bubbled, and my pedicure has chipped. Never had such a bad experience. read more

Came here as a walk-in for a non-gel polish. Had a few people in front of me, but I was still in and out in under an hour. When the color I selected didn't turn out the way I wanted, the nail artist helped me located a different option that matched what I had in-mind. The woman who did my nails was lovely, though I forgot to get her name. The consultation was the best I've had. I have thin natural nails and previously, techs have filed them down so much it hurt, but that was not the case here! I felt listened to and she prioritized my nail health, which I appreciate. With her recommendations, my manicure looks gorgeous. Conversation was great and flowed nicely, and the atmosphere was calm but engaging. This place has went to the ground since the new owners took over. Took my daughter to get her nails did and she showed the boy a picture and he still did watever he wanted to do. Her nails are different links some thicker than others he didn't clean the Acrylic from under her nails, and it is not the color she asked for. When I said some about it he stated that's wat she asked for. And they charged her 50. That is unacceptable and so wrong to do to anyone. didn't offer to fix it at all other than oh I can put gel polish on top to fix it. No it should've been done right the first time and shouldn't have done watever u wanted but what was asked for if you couldnt you should've said that and she couldve went somewhere else. I do not recommend going here. I showed up on a busy day and the owner said she could do my nails. She sped through my nails without even really paying attention, while gossiping with other coworkers. She asked me where I got my eyebrows done and I had told her I do them myself and she said to let her do them because the way I do my OWN eyebrows makes my face look "saggy". I was not happy about that comment but i politely refused the eyebrow service. Not even 2 days later the paint on my nails is peeling in globs and 1 nail just popped off. I returned to the store asking to get them fixed and I was directed to a table where this worker sat on his phone playing video games throughout the service. I was extremely unhappy. I went here for the first time this weekend to get my nails off & start fresh w a manicure. I had two layers of gel/acrylic under shellac nail polish. Anna removed the old acrylic & gel to try and save my nail length. She is quiet but she knows what she is doing! Anna was also super patient with me choosing a color as I was a little indecisive. This is not the cleanest place or the most bougie/talented/trained salon but Anna knows what she is doing and clearly has the proper training. If you want basic & cheap go to this salon (and make sure you book with Anna.) This is clearly a new owner (super nice lady but a little thirsty for business) There are also no displayed certs/ licenses for each nail techs. After going to this salon, I don't think you have to go to school/proper training for nail tech in Texas, you can just learn there which was Just not what I'm normally used too but If it works, great for them. ‍ read more

Horrible horrible horrible! The lady that did my nails was nice and did a good job on pedi but once she started doing my nails it turned into a disaster! My nails all uneven and they have bubbles in them! She didn't ask what shape I wanted and just did a different shape on each one of them!! It was waste of money I'm really upset and disappointed. The guy did my nails last time and he did good but this time I'm so mad and on top that she wasn't understanding what I was saying at all so.... Save your money and do NOT do your nails at this place I really don't recommend it. Got my nails dipped today, first time I've ever done it and I really like them. Brian did a great job and he has a nice personality. I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately I'm not from here so I probably won't be back but you should go see Brian! UPDATE/ I guess Brian really didn't do a very good job. After 2 days my nails started chipping. I had to go and have it removed within a week of getting it done. Too bad I did my nails while visiting Lubbock, since I don't live there I couldn't go back and request a refund. They got mad that I wanted fake nails. After the lady was done cutting my cuticles I told her I wanted nails added on, her and the owner (I assume) flipped out. They got so mad saying I needed to say that in the first place. So as the owner is putting on the fake nails he was super aggressive. As I'm getting my nails painted I asked the lady if she can make my thumb nail a bit slimmer. To which she said no because the owner said they were even. I didn't say they weren't? I just wanted a slimmer thumb because it was really wide. But I was told no. Then she forgot to paint the tips and had to go over it again which made my nails super thick. When I asked if it was going to stay that way, she sighed really loud and said I obviously don't understand shellac and it had to stay that way. By this time I was annoyed and ready to get out of there. So I paid $45 for some crappy nails. read more

I used to say this was my favorite place but the last time I went the guy cut me and then half assed my nails after that.... I went back today because there is a guy who usually does them so well and after he did mine they were kinda lumpy and the shellac is a tad streaky! I'm also a student and appreciated their little $5 they took off every other time I've been here. Then today they acted like they have NEVER done that before! Super odd. It's only $5 and my tip will be the same It's sad bc they shape them so well and usually have been so well but this has been the second time in a row now... Bad experience here today. Workers didn't realize I was Vietnamese and proceeded to talk bad about me, saying how I kept looking at my watch and how it was bothersome to them. Next time double check your surroundings and know your audience before opening your mouth. As a student, $35 was an unreasonable amount of money for the pedicure service I received. So very glad boyfriend and I decided to check out this salon after reading Google reviews! We were in search of a new place for pedis, and we lucked out and walked right in and got sat in chairs. Emily (who did BF's pedi) was friendly, talkative, and did a great job on BF's feet. A young man did mine, and although he was more reserved and didn't talk as much, he was still friendly, and I walked out with probably the best pedi I've had in a while. Prices were reasonable and wait was minimal. As we were paying out, Emily asked for mine and BF's names, gave us both a hug, and told us to have a beautiful day. Cute place with pretty reasonable prices, unfortunately my experience here was less than great. I asked for a mani/pedi and for my gel mail polish to be taken off. First, I got a pedicure that would have been great except for the fact that I couldn't tell whether the tools where freshly sterilized or not. They were just kind of in a plastic tub. And I'm pretty sure they used hand soap to massage my legs which is actually mind boggling. The big problem for me was how they removed my gel polish. They didn't quite let it soak in acetone enough and went straight for the drill like tool to take it off. Not a huge issue, but it left my nail completely bumpy and uneven like perhaps they didn't get it all off? And he made no attempt to buff the nail to make it smooth. In fact, I didn't even get a manicure like I asked for, but at least they just charged me for the nail polish. I can't imagine that I'll be back. I'm taking off the nail polish to give myself a manicure as we speak. read more

I went in and said I wanted dip nails and a pedicure. They said it was no problem did my pedicure then as soon as it was done they said I wouldn't be able to get my dip nails because it was too late. not a big yelp reviewer but this place was absolutely horrible. i called and made an appointment for taking of dip powder and a regular manicure and the prices are the same as on here. walking in it looks okay nothing terrible. the nail tech is taking off my nails, filing and cutting my cuticles well. when he started doing the polish i noticed he used a lot but you know letting him do his thing. as he's doing that he gets polish all around my nails (which is fine if they clean it off) and he left it there i had to ask him to clean them up 3 times and i still left w polish on them. at this point i was ready to go and he and i both messed up 3 of my nails so he had to redo them which turned out to look worse than they did before. also this regular manicure did not include any oil or lotion of sort so my cuticles are bone dry. it was a total of $25 read more

Awful nail experience. If I could give this place a -5, I would. 1. They're rude and talk crap about everyone in the store, including myself. How do I know? Because I'm bilingual and understand Vietnamese fluently. 2. The service was terrible. I got to the shop around 11am and only one guy was working. He asked me if I could wait for his coworker to come, then proceeded to call his coworker to come in. I waited 15 minutes for him to get to the shop & when he got there he was on FaceTime with someone THE WHOLE TIME. How do you expect to build clientele if you don't talk to your customers? when I asked him to file my nails a little shorter he got annoyed and started to speak in Vietnamese saying I was picky and that he was going to charge me more for being so picky. My nails were eh maybe a 5/10, the attention to detail was poor, and the lengths weren't even. 3. My mom owns multiple nail salons in the Dallas area so I know how this goes. I went hoping for a relaxing manicure, but when I walked in there were people already standing waiting in front of me. I was told to sit down, there were other people coming. I sat for about 5 minutes and noticed it was dirty. There were water bottles everywhere, crafts on the floor. Finally other workers came and started on my nails and made me think I was a hassle for them. He coughed and coughed on me while working on my nails. Asked for acrylic nails and they ended up dipping them... it's been 2 days and i still have super glue and powder all around my nails. Nails look super scratched and the gloss is coming off and it hasn't even been 24 hours. Also couldn't tell if the tools were sterilized or not. read more
