The technician seemed really upset or angry with me, and I couldn't understand what she wanted from me because of the language barrier. Her movements felt harsh and kind of rude. She rushed through everything, shortened the manicure, and even tried to skip the soaking step, even though the salon was empty, as if she just wanted me out of the salon as quickly as possible. I would say the vibe was hostile, and I am really very surprised by that. All I asked for was a regular manicure pedicure on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I didn't say or do anything that should have caused that kind of attitude, which is why I left feeling so confused. The nails turned out to be all right, and I still left a tip like I always do, but the overall experience was uncomfortable and puzzling and there's a scratch mark on my arm now. Called to see if they took walk-ins and she said they did. Then she told me to wait 30 minutes for an appointment. Then when I got there, no one was available and they told me to wait another 10-15 minutes. What was the point of making an appointment if they weren't going to be ready? I'm not sure where to start with how disappointed I am with my visit to Magic today. Don't waste your time or money. First, they were understaffed. Lady who did my pedicure used the drill on such a high speed with the metal bit that it was causing pain when she touched my toenails. She aggressively cleaned under my big toe and caused my nail to pull back, she unnecessarily cut a piece of on of my nails off so I have a troll toe now, and did a terrible job applying gel polish. Massage piece of the experience was ridiculous. Cold stones clanking against my ankle bones is not my idea of relaxing. An hour later, we moved to the manicure phase. This is where I finally had to tap out. She continued with the painful metal drill bit on my natural finger nail. I told her I was done, left the salon, and bought my own buffer board to smooth my nails on my own. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a nail salon. I would not come back. I used to get pedicures a few times a year in my hometown, the polish would last months and it was about the same price and services received. I recently moved here and tried this spot first and within a week three of my toes were missing the polish, the whole nail coming off in one clean piece. Do not get a pedicure or manicure here. They're extremely inexperienced and are not well trained. The host starting on my nails but got distracted and totally forgot about me because she was on the phone the entire time-as I attempted to received a pedicure the host still on the phone begin another customer without even finishing my nails. I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start by saying how extremely rude they are. My husband is Vietnamese and was telling us everything they were saying and they talked ONLY in Vietnamese to each other. They were talking bad about customers. I don't think they realized my husband was Vietnamese. Then they charged us $50 for a gel fill. I got a new set of dip and mine was $50 which I get but $50 for a full that took 30 minutes? My sip set is so awful they are bumpy and the shape I got was oval and they aren't consistent in shape or thickness. I'm so disappointed I just spent $100 our nails because I'll have to have mine taken off tomorrow they are so bad. read more

Horrible experience. I did not like the nail shape that the guy was doing on my nails. I politely told him I did not like them and instead of satisfying me as a customer, he yelled at me. He refused to take the nails off and said that "he has never got a complaint on nail shape before." Keep in mind this is after he told me my nails would be $55 and when he began to do them he changed the price to $65. I asked for coffin shape and wanted my nails exactly as I had them because it mad my hand look thinner. Instead the man I had put these HUGE tips on which made my hand look even wider. I don't normally say anything and this is exactly why. The man who was working on my nails got offended when I said that I didn't like the shape and began to raise his voice to me which lead the main lady to come and check on us in which he said that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I could ask anyone and they would say that I had coffin nails( they were square and still are). This used to be my place to go but this will definitely be my last visit. I have never been so degraded and had someone use this tone to me when I say something about my nails which I pay for at the end of the day. Terrible experience. We called to make sure they could get us in. We were told on the phone yes we can get u in if u come right now. We were 3 minutes down the road (becuase another salon was full) and they weren't too busy. That should of been our first sign. As soon as we get there I tell them I called and they say get a color and then we weren't acknowledged or offered anything to drink until 45 minutes after we arrive and we had to ask for a drink at that! I get a fill and tell the lady I want the exact same style just a different color, she proceeds to give me the wrong style 2 times and after I had to repeat to her I wanted it the exact same was as before she got frustrated and took off all the pain and redid it, as if it was my fault. When we were done my nails look so rough like she didn't buff them after filing them with the drill and the line work is extremely sloppy! I decided to just pay and leave because we had already been there for an hour and a half at that point I just know I won't be returning because 4 days later my nails are lifting by my cuticle and my nails just look terrible in general. So, I have been here once before and I was so happy the first time. The owner and one woman were so kind. Said hi. Asked how I was. Everything. The guy that did my nails barely spoke English and understood nothing I said. I applaud ESL people but it was hard without anyone helping me communicate with him. I kept saying ouch and he kept tearing up my cuticles. I got a dip done and he put my thumb in the powder with my cuticle bleeding which is super unsanitary. I said ouch when he applied a sealer because it burned horribly. He didn't apologize or anything, my cuticles are still sore a couple hours later and the nails I got are all crooked. I have weird fingers but that's really no reason for my nails to be unevenly filed. He's the one who cashed me out and I couldn't even explain that I wasn't happy with them because he didn't understand me. So frustrated. read more

The owner which is the man who did my nails cut my finger when doing my refill. It wouldn't stop bleeding and it hurt so bad when he put the acid and cuticle oil. I picked out the color I wanted and the process began. The people there were nice and chatty which I appreciate. However one of my nails ended up being crooked, with the nails pushed farther than I would like. They got the right nail color but they didn't do a good job applying the nails. I usually go to top nails to get my nails done and decided to check out this place. Maybe it as just me, my friends nails turned out fine, but I was disappointed in the quality. I went to top nails to have them take off my nails and the nail technicians remarked that whoever did my nails didn't do a good job and used cheap material.
