I left SF for my trip to Lubbock and didn't have a chance to get a mani/pedi and both were desperately needed. I came here as it was recommended by my parents for a basic no polish mani and a basic pedi with polish. I came right at opening time and it wasn't busy and had just a few people working. I didn't wait at all and was quickly attended to and while seated at the pedicure chair was handed the list of services to choose from. The person that did my services seemed very green and almost afraid to touch me. While very gentle, I feel like he didn't get my cuticles on neither my feet or hands very good at all and it seemed he kept asking what to do next and where to find what he needed. I get that basic services at nail salons are not the norm these days, but I'm basic and keep my nails short and clean. Perhaps this just isn't what they are accustomed to doing here. Service was friendly enough and the place is large and modern looking located in a small shopping center. They had a large selection of powders and dips for nail art. The cleanliness that I feel is important in a nail salon wasn't apparent and for that I could only give 3 stars. (Nail dust everywhere, messy tools and supplies haphazardly about and this was all at opening time, which is when it should be the cleanest IMO.) My toes look great, nails eh, and for basic services and no polish on my hands (just toes) I paid $75 before tip, which is what I pay in SF for what I consider a much better experience all around. read more

Great!!! When I went in it was very quiet and there was little to no talking but that wasn't a big deal to me. The man who did my nails was very precise and wanted to do the best he could. He was amazing! My nails are 100% the same to my reference picture but I never expect perfection. They are well done and very symmetrical. The prices were so good! I haven't been to a salon where the artists are precise and the prices are that cheap!!! A full set and dip was only $120!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!! read more

Havana Nails & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Well.. where do I begin.. This is BY FAR the WORST nail experience of my life. I got there a little late for my appointment, but it was only by 5 mins. No biggie. She sat me down and started soaking off the nails I had on prior, and then started finishing someone else's nails. I wasn't upset about that, I understand the nails need to soak a bit. But, in order to get the process going , she needs to check on me from time to time. Not just leave me soaking for an hour. They over book themselves which is the problem. Anyway, wasn't too upset about that, just annoyed. Finally it was my turn. She starts drilling off the rest of the nail, then stops and gets a tip and starts ripping off the rest of my nail!! Lazy!!! I thought to myself, just get through it. She kept trying to get the nails off, and is having a hard time, so she asks someone to do it. He then proceeds to literally RIP MY REAL NAILS OFF!! My nails were bleeding!!! I told them they were bleeding, and she was like "that's OK, I'm going to put a nail on top of it" My nails still hurt!! And because they ripped my nails off, the fake nail is coming off.. AND I spent 80 bucks on these damn nails!! *edit it came off* Added pics I have to admit, They are really talented at designs, but that is not worth the pain and anguish they put me through!! Don't go here!!!! read more

I went without an appointment right when they opened. Service was quick and pleasant. I've gone other times where it takes 2-3 hours for a mani pedi and they are ALWAYS busy when you go later in the day or on the weekend. My nail tech was very sweet and listened to everything I wanted. They also are VERy clean and use standard hygiene of sterilized tools changed out for each customer. I'm happy as usual! Pic of what I wanted and what I got! read more

The several times I've been, it's been okay, nails are overpriced in my opinion and they don't clean their nail tools which led to an infection in my nail, they don't communicate very well on how much something will cost until after but I have to say the atmosphere is great, and the pricing for waxing is awesome. I do have to say they don't do bookings and walk ins very well, I think there should be some better organization because it comes out to a 3 hour wait at times. read more

This Nail salon overbooks themselves. They sit you in a chair and will have you wait an hour or longer. They claim to be able to do any nail design, but can't even do a basic design. Didn't have a great experience last time as they skipped me and I had to wait 2+ hours just to even get my nails done. Decided to try them out again and my experience was not great. The lady didn't even take off my previous nail that well so you can still see the previous nail color. These people need to spend more time on their clients nails. Paid 65 for this!! read more

Absolutely perfect . They did great designs. It was exactly what I asked for, both design, color and shape.

I had booked an appointment and came in only for her to tell me to come back the next day, no biggie people have bad days so I came back for another appointment the next day and sat for about 45 minutes before I was gotten to then I asked for coffin and got a lumpy mess was there for about an hour and a half and still didn't get my design (which was simple lines) she put another client that had an appointment after me before me so I had to leave with no design (paid 60$) and was told to come back in the morning I came back to get my design and had to wait an hour to get a 10 minute design and then was charged an extra 15$ after having to come back 3 times at this point I left and told myself I wouldn't come back well it's not even three days later and my nails are falling off. I did a walk in and I feel I should've just set up an appointment but after reading reviews and watching Savannah answer the phone and not write down what time a client wanted to reschedule for I don't think they take appointments seriously. I signed in once I arrived for a full set and pedi. I waited for like an hour then, they were like okay go sit in the chair to get a pedi and i sat down then watched as they put the girl who came in AFTER me to start getting her nails done. I was upset bc instead of putting me to get my nails done first, they put me to wait for the ONLY man doing pedis to finish the lady next to me, which took almost another hour. I waited about 30 minutes before I asked why I was just waiting and Savannah came up to the counter, she could tell I was upset and she was "you are next, YOURE next, just please wait" i asked her how much longer and she just said "not long" she did come off a bit blunt/rude but I was like okay and then I noticed that girl who got there after me finished her nails right when I was gonna finally going to get started on my toes, when in reality I could've got my nails done and right after went straight to get my toes done and then left but I was there for like 3 1/2 hours and 2 of them were just waiting savannah ended up being the one to do my nails, she was in and out of doing them, going to attend other clients, or talk and ask them questions, but she did do them SUPER FAST. she seemed busy/ distracted not only the whole time she did my nails but the whole time I was there. which Ik they were busy but in reality I should've never been put to wait twice and had someone who got there after me be put before me. After I left and got in my car, I noticed how dirty my nails had been left, there was glue and they were really clumpy on the side, from a distance they looked so cute but up close they were very messy. When I got home I filed them and they ended up looking fine. I saw Savannah interact with other customers, along with the other techs, it did seem they have a good relationship with some of their regulars but if you're new you kinda get put the to side. That was my experience there, made my whole day go to shit but I can't speak for everyone. read more

I'm indifferent about this salon. They do really good designs but the polish fumes are overwhelming and the rest of the work wasn't too great. The edges of my nails aren't the best. I probably won't be going back due to the strong smell alone I had a headache for the rest of the day. read more

was going there on a regular basis had a bad experience where the nails wasn't lasting and falling off.months went by thought I would try them again same problem.went there the other day and asked Savannah if she had time to do them cause the last couple times I had them done they were falling off she said she has to leave early.she said that she could have someone else do them ither than the guy who had dine them the last couple times.so I waited 20 minutes later she comes to me and says that tge only person who could do them was the guy who had previously done them.i told her no don't want him to do them than she tells me i would have to come back the next day.i told her I wouldn't come back at all.very unprofessional of y'all to behave that way and for someone who had to leave early you was there at this point 20 minutes later.if you don't want your nails to last I would recommend.i bet a 5 yr could do better. read more

First time visiting today... pedicure was okay... not impressed. My nails did come out super cute and exactly how the picture I showed him (I believe Kevin did them?) All of that went completely out the door when the owner told a customer paying out "Don't get kidnapped!!" Referring to her vacation in Mexico. Never returning again. Won't support a racist business. That comment was completely uncalled for and made me feel extremely belittled as the only Mexican there. The lady's response to her "don't say that, that's actually really rude." YEAH IT IS. read more

I originally booked what I thought was an appointment(via messenger) for me and a friend. We walked in and I said I had an appointment. The lady asked for my name and then asked if I booked through messenger. She had us sit and wait for a minute, then moved us to two pedicure chairs. We sat there for an hour and fifteen minutes with no other acknowledgement from staff. A male staff member that had spoke to almost every other woman in the salon walked right past my friend and I to the lady seated next to us, offered her a drink and chatted her up, got her ready for her pedicure, and then walked right back by us without so much as a word. My friend and I got up and walked out...and no one from the staff even looked our way. This was very disappointing because we came to this place solely on recommendations from others. I have NEVER had such awful service from a nail salon before, but I would not recommend anyone looking for a new place to try out Havana. read more

It was not terrible but to be honest, I have been to better salons in Lubbock that do a better job then this nail salons. For starters, I don't ever leave reviews unless it was very good or not the best. To be honest, my nails look great, kind of a little crooked but great. My toes on the other hand, not at all what I was expecting, the guy that did my toes, I guess was new but didn't understand what exactly what I wanted, I didn't realize until I left how ugly and disappointed I was with the outcome of my toes. I understand that he had appointment but it was kind of ridiculous to start on my nails then push me off to someone else who couldn't stop fidgeting with her phone. Then it comes time with the bill, I was not expecting my total for acrylic nails and shellac pedicure to be $110. That's a little too much overpriced. I typically can spend $70-$90 for acrylic nails and shellac pedicure and be a 100% satisfied anywhere else I go! I won't be coming back here. It was so disorganized and they didn't have enough staff for the amount of patients that they had. I hate the way my toes look and it was definitely not worth the $60 I spent on them. Definitely ruin my Semi-Formal look!! read more

they charge too much and are rude especially the younger girl that answers all the phone calls.
