I came in recently and have never had a pedicure before but I had an ingrown toenail I told them about it and how much pain it was causing me and they worked their magic I left feeling relaxed and my toe was completely fixed I thought for sure it would have needed a doctor but thankfully they were able to take care of it and if anyone had a problem like that I would recommend this business 100% great atmosphere and great people working there read more

I came in and asked for manicure and pedicure with gels. The gentleman doing my massage did a great job. Then some woman came over and started cutting my cuticles. It hurt very bad and I told her she was hurting me. She kept cutting. Then she began painting my nails with a color I didn't pick and didn't use gel. When my sister asked why she didn't use gels she acted confused and kept going. We tried to tell her several times we ordered gel but she ignored us. She finished the clear coat then asked if is wanted gel. At this point I was disappointed and frustrated and ready to go home. I would not recommend going here. read more

It's possible that management has changed since those were written but every time that I have been in to get my nails done here I have had a wonderful experience. The salon is really clean all the way down to the shellac color selection. I've had a different nail technician every time I've been in but they have all been consistent in the quality of work that they do. After attempting to take off my shellac covered acrylic nails last night, I decided to have it done professionally today. My last salon was extremely unprofessional so I have been frantically searching for something different and noticed this new salon around the corner from my house. I was reluctant to take a chance, but it turned out to be a great experience. Sue did a fantastic job, listened to what I wanted, and made recommendations. Sue was extraordinarily meticulous and my nails looked fabulous. I will definitely be returning to see her for my next appointment. As far as the store itself, everything is new and comfortable. The staff is extra attentive and the prices are very reasonable. They perform other services which can be found on there website. Currently, all services are 20% off. My service included additional services that most places charge for and honestly, it was the best experience I've had outside of a resort. Even the music was relaxing. i went here to get a manicure and pedicure. the woman that did my manicure flooded the cuticle with the paint and hurt my fingers when she nipped the cuticles. the man that did my pedicure was fine other than the fact that he was standing watching tv for 15 minutes not doing anything, while i was still waiting for my nails to be painted. when they put the wax on my hand it came off in flakes and there are now wax flakes all over my hands, shirt, and phone. read more

I had a shellac manicure done here and within 2 days, 2 nails had already chipped, and within 6 days, 8 nails had chipped. I went back in to the salon on the 7th day and showed them my nails, they told me to take a seat. Long story short - at first they said they had to charge me the full manicure all over again to fix it. I told them absolutely not - these had chipped after less than week - so they got an attitude and said fine 40% off. When I went to check out, the girl at the front (the owner's niece) said "Only 30% off for you." My daughter and I went here together for mani/pedis and eyebrow waxing. The salon it's self is nice. Good products and clean well kept stations. The services are pretty basic. Pretty much what you can get at most salons. But the lady who did my nails was very sloppy. I left with tiny bubbles all over my nails and polish under and around the nails. I just went for my 2nd visit and the first was great! Jenny did a fantastic job and really took care of me. However, the 2nd time, I waited for about 30 minutes until the water was cold and between my manicure and pedicure, 3 different people worked on my pedicure alone. I am a little frustrated because I booked an appointment with Jenny, not Jenny and 2 other people. So if you're not picky, it's a great place. This place is just awful. For starters, if you are getting a manicure and pedicure, they will do it at the same time, giving you a manicure while trying to relax while getting a pedicure. This made it very uncomfortable for me because I was leaning over while she worked on my nails, not getting to enjoy my pedicure. They were very rushed and sloppy. But once the lady started doing my toenails, she CUT my toe, and didn't bother to say anything. It was bleeding and I finally called her out on it and she acted like she didn't notice until I showed her. This is how people get bad infections, which has happened to me before at another nail salon. I also did not get a discount of any sort for this and I regret paying what I did. read more

DO NOT GO TO ROYAL NAILS AND SPA ON DANFORTH AND SANTA FE. I have been there several times and sent many friends there... Today, I was pulling in the parking lot to park, and they had a huge sign on one of their cars, that covered the entire car, that said "Royal Nails and Spa grand opening 20% off".. So I go in and there is another sign inside that talked about a members club and 20% off pedicures. So, I get my pedicure and manicure and they go to charge me WAY too much. I told her what it should have been with it being 20% off and she said "No, it's only for pedicures". I told her that her sign outside that they hung on one of their cars said 20% off and didn't specify that it was only on particular services, and if it was supposed to be only on particular services, that they need to specify that on their advertisement, or else it's a bait and switch, which is fraud and illegal. Her response was "Sorry. It's only on pedicures". I told her she had better walk outside and read their own sign that they are advertising 20% off, and NOWHERE does it say "on select services" or "only on pedicures". I told her I would only pay what she advertised. After more argument, she said "I will do it this one time and we do not want to see you again". Wow! I told her not to worry and that I have sent many friends there and will make sure they all know how they really treat their customers, and they definitely wouldn't have to worry about me EVER coming back! Guess they don't realize that there's at least 50 nail places in Edmond ALONE, and good customer service goes a very long way!! read more

Been here several times. First time was really nice (grand opening week)! Each following visit seemed a little less friendly or customer courteous. Nonetheless, I continued to go, in hopes the other visits were just randomly not so great. I'm an over-tipper too! Well, the last visit, will be my last. During a thirty--five minute wait (they insisted it would only be 10) I had time to think & was watching how busy they were, & it dawned on me. I remembered a recent segment on News about sanitary issues and fungal infections. I took note that the buckets carried around from person to person weren't being sanitized, nor were the pedi spas efficiently cleaned!!! Well, ironically as fate has it, my fiancé who was indulging with me ended up with a bad increasing infection and had to get reprieve from Urgent Care! It was a nasty common nail salon infection called Onychia. Poor thing had to have his finger frozen and cut open to remove the infection he had been fighting for a week. Busy is not an excuse for improper sanitation and cautiousness! Hopefully the salon will take note! read more

I've been getting my nails done here (Solar) for the past 6 months. That's the only service I've gotten here. The first few times the 2 men who do nails did my sets. They were very good and paid attention to detail and cared about how the finished product looked. Other times only the women were available to do my nails. I don't recall their names. The women do "ok" on the nails. For instance, I've had a nail be slightly crooked or another time the ring-finger nail on the right hand was smaller than the size they used on the left hand. The last time I went they accidentally got a different color mixed into the one they were using on me and it left a streak. These mistakes only occurred when the woman did my nails. So I recommend this salon, but I suggest you wait for one of males to be available, in my opinion. Sometimes, they will come by and give you a short courtesy shoulder massage, which is nice. read more
