Let me save you time and money by telling you to use another cleaning service!! I feel like I was scammed. Nothing was really cleaned when I paid for a full cleaning of my move-in. Floors, drawers, cabinets--anything you name wasn't cleaned. There's only 1 person doing the cleaning, the owner, but she'll use terms like "we" and "us" to imply there's others people in the "company." It's a one (wo)man show and although it's supposed to be a cleaning company, there's not much cleaning going on. I almost paid another company to come clean after dealing with Donna, but I ended up just doing it myself. I'm trying to save your energy and money while preventing a headache when I tell you to use a reputable and reliable cleaning company because this isn't the one. read more

Terrible service. Owner is very disorganized. Comes late, demanding her payment upfront and yet cannot even deliver. Selective about what she wants to do , even when the job description is for a Move- Out Deep Clean. Very sloppy. Not thorough. Talks more than she actually works. Highly unprofessional. I would not recommend her. read more

Don't even think about it. Donna is inconsistent and unreliable. She took our cleaning fee without actually doing anything due to someone coming into the house to let the dogs out. She constantly showed up hours late ( leaving our dogs to wait in their kennels while she was cleaning). Not consistent with what she cleans, she didn't even vacuum our carpet in the living room (the rest of the house is hardwood). Once the pandemic hit, she was even more inconsistent. Focusing on cleaning door handles and commonly touched surfaces, but neglecting floors and everything else. Take your money elsewhere. She took our $120 fee without doing a thing, then said she would come back the following day. 20 minutes before she was supposed to be there, lets us know she can't make it and there would be a $50 return fee. VERY unprofessional. read more

I am more then happy with Royal Maid's carpet cleaning services! Donna was so polite, professional, and the quality was amazing. She got stains out of my carpets that my previous carpet cleaner never came close to doing. I just wanted them cleaned for my own piece of mind, I did not expect them to come as clean as she got them. Thanks so much, and we will meet again! read more

I wish I could give zero star... Don't Hire her. waste of money and waste of time. She didn't even touch the areas. We left house on her and she lied that she did. Nothing was done and very rude. She didnt even clean the drawers, dust and trash was lying on counter tops. Trash was there. I wish I could complain at Better Business Bureau so she doesn't cheat other people. I even have my friend as a witness who came to see the house they day before and the day after the cleaning and it looks same. My realtor came and said you need to get professional cleaning done right after she cleaned it. You will be better off cleaning yourself than wasting your time and money with her. Stay Away from her. Very unprofessional !!!! read more

I requested several times to know if the business was run service based, or hourly per maid. She wouldn't answer my question, and assured me over and over that the price shouldn't change as my "house was only dusty" and that they're "pretty nice to work with". Even after her coming by to do an estimate 2 days prior she still showed up at the wrong house. Once more before leaving her to clean the house I described in detail what I expected, then she accused my husband and myself of never talking about those things before so she may have to adjust the price. She requires cash or cc (with fee) all up front prior to any work being done. She kept trying to skip on things that were already specified on the quote form, and stated "well did I write that on there?" (she didn't have her glasses on) and we responded yes, I read it verbatim and she still was hesitant. She put her glasses on and finally agreed she would do what she originally agreed to for the agreed price as to not cause a problem. She once again assured me she fit a high standard, as this is why she left big companies because they couldn't fit her high standards, so she started her on business. It was only Donna that showed up to clean the entire house. Took approx 4.5 hours, which I thought might've been a little quick for everything requested. We had arranged for her to give us a 30 minute warning before finishing so that we could all walk through it after, but she did not honor that. She texted saying she was just starting on carpets so it would be another 2 hours, then less than an hour later stated she was finished and leaving in 5 minutes. During our walk through post clean we noticed many things that did not look like they had been done, or not done well. The drawers/cabinets all still has grime/crumbs/stickiness inside and outside, the bathtub and shower still had lots of lint and dirt all over, kitchen sink was untouched completely, other sinks barely looked any different, floor barely changed, I could touch the counter tops and pick up dust/crumbs, the window panes had smudges/spots untouched and still dusty. I called Donna to let her know how displeased we were, especially for paying $320 for this type of work. She requested I give exact areas that needed her attention again. I kept explaining that it was pretty much every area. She returned per her policy and admitted to forgetting the master bathroom drawers/cabinets entirely, and we walked through everywhere with me showing her spots that were still dirty. She brought a wet rag to re-clean these areas. Per her sheet the drawers should've been vacuumed out, and states specifically "no rag clean" yet there she was cleaning it with such. She wiped the cabinet off and literally flicked the crumbs onto the floor (I told her but she ignored me and requested the next place, as if she had now cleaned it). I brought her attention to all the windows which still had dust on the locks as well. She couldn't see it even with me taking my finger and wiping it to show the dust. Then for the window pane she stated "that stuff won't come off". I took my finger and ran it across and it was coming off in most spots. She asked if I had looked at the checklist she had left because she had done everything that was checked off. I brought it to her attention that we told her specifically that she did not have to worry about the window sills, but she checked them off. She said "well they were already cleaned, so I checked it off as being done." I said you don't check off things you didn't do, that is the point of this list. For example she left the staircase part unchecked (we have a 1 story)  and her reasoning was "well you don't have stairs", and I said exactly you didn't clean them, so you didn't check it off. That's how it works. There were additional things on the list that she clearly did not do. After all of this and the house still not clean she proceeds to say you get what you paid for ($320), which was a basic clean for let's remember in her words an "only dusty house". "I don't scrub, I just wipe it.". I became very confused as how she actually refused to clean the things we had discussed prior and was only now saying she couldn't do what I wanted for that price. We went back and forth without any resolution. She handled this situation very unprofessionally and she did not live up to her positive reviews. After searching for cleaning services we decided to go with them not based on price, but reviews. Royal Maids is not the cheapest, and as I have now learned definitely nowhere near good. Please rethink your decision to hire this company. I will be reaching out to the BBB. They Royal Maids should not be providing a cleaning service if they can't/won't clean. I pretty much paid $320 for her to physically check off a checklist, not for her to actually do the checklist. read more

Don't call her. Donna is a fraud. We called for move out cleaning for 4 bed 2 bath but she didn't clean the drawers the dirt was all there and I fact the microwave, gas have spots. Sinks were bad. Please stay away from her. read more

Took my money and did not clean. I prepaid for a move out cleaning. Called me from my home and told me she was out of budget to do the job! She even came previously to assess the job. There was no crew, Just the owner Donna. I wish I could post the pictures the realtors took. She told me that she did not usually wash walls, baseboards or floors AFTER IT WAS DISCUSSED that this was the main job. She did not even clean the most simple things. I had to hire a new company at the very last minute as I stupidly had faith in her to perform her job. read more

I had the perfect storm of a muddy floors, incoming houseguests, getting over a cold, and last minute orders to deal with for work. Luckily for me, Donna was able to accommodate my short notice and did an excellent job preparing my house for guests. She worked around me baking in the kitchen and cleaned up all of our pet hair (2 dogs and 3 cats). I'll definitely be using her services again in the future! read more

Once again Donna took care of my large dog in my home for ten days this summer. My dog highly recommends her. It is great to leave on a trip and feel that your dog will be happy in your absence. And Donna always leaves the house clean and neat. read more

I have been using Royal Maid for about three months now. They are reliable, courteous and anxious to please the client. They are always willing to go the extra mile if I have things that I need help with that aren't on the "list". I trust this company and will continue to use them. read more

Very reasonable prices, did a thorough job. Cleaning was good and saved me valuable time. Would use for cleaning services again. Would also recommend to other potential customers. Why 4 stars? In my mind, 5 stars does not mean "no issues" and 1 star does not mean "there was a problem". 4 stars means the work / price was above average, but I was not awe-struck by the level of quality or price. read more

Donna has been cleaning my home for about two years now. She comes every other week while I'm gone so obviously I trust her enough to provide her with her own key. She always contacts me a day or two ahead of time as a reminder and always leaves a detail list of what she did. If I have any request she has always been flexible enough to accommodate. I have been through several other cleaners but Donna has been with me the longest and has been the most consistent. I have absolutely no qualms whatsoever in recommending her for any of your cleaning needs. read more

Royal Maid Home and Carpet Cleaning: I was in a bind and needed same day service. Called and they were able to accommodate my request. Finally, The house looked great when they were done and they completed everything I needed. read more

Royal Maid service did an amazing job for me! We have been in our house for 27 years and are moving and I have never had a maid service. I wish I would have had used this service earlier. They were extremely detailed, conscientious, friendly and professional. I had a lot of deep cleaning that needed to be done such as window sills, baseboards, cabinets, plus the regular cleaning (bathrooms, floors, carpets, etc.) that had not been well maintained by myself so it was a lot of work! Royal Maids did it all, showed up on time, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this company to someone wanting a great cleaning for an extremely fair price. There are good discounts offered for the services as well which was very much appreciated. read more
