We ordered sweet-and-sour chicken and orange chicken when we got home. The chicken was so lightly tossed in sauce that there was no flavor and the chicken was dry. This used to be the best Chinese restaurant in Roy and Clinton. Their prices are at least 2 to 3 dollars higher than anybody else and it used to be worth it but not now it was like I was going to Panda Express. read more

I've eaten at this place plenty of times before and it was fantastic. It was a long wait sometimes but still good food though. However last night we doordashed it and both me and my wife thought it was unusually fast from the time it said your Dasher is on the way to the order and then almost immediately your dasher is on the way to your house. I mean literally took her longer to order the doordash than it did to get picked up and delivered to our house which would usually be a good thing. Anyway, the food was almost inedible... the meat had tasted microwaved it just wasn't right. My wife couldn't eat her egg rolls because she thought they tasted rotten. I think they have a bunch of stuff prepared now and they just throw in the microwave or whatever but it's pretty rough tasting. read more

We'll be back for sure. It's been hard to find a Chinese Restaurant to like lately since ABC Mandarin sold and went into the toilet with the new owners, but I think we found one in Royal Dragon. My wife and I decided to give it a try to see if we wanted to invite our friends. We were very pleased with the results. We both had combination dinners, mine was the Cashew Shrimp and I don't remember what hers was, but we were both very happy with our meals. I had the Hot and Sour soup and she had egg drop. Both were very good. The waitress was so pleasant and helpful. She made us feel at home and like she was happy to be serving us. The food came out way more quickly than I expected and was hot and tasty. The portion size was enough that we brought home enough for at least one large or two more smaller meals for each of us. I can't imagine anyone could eat a whole combination plate in one sitting. Since I started by comparing to ABC Mandarin I'll say that it's not nearly as fancy looking, nor as large, but it is clean and simple. The décor is very simple with just a few things to say "Hey, look, this is a Chinese restaurant". The prices were very fair for the amount and quality of food we received. They do have a lunch menu also where the prices are about 1/4 to 1/3 lower. The music is provided by KSOP country radio, which I found to be quite the contrast, but I didn't go for the Chinese ambiance or music, so it didn't matter. I was surprised, and maybe slightly disappointed that when the check was brought it was brought with mints instead of the traditional Chinese Fortune Cookie. I am absolutely compelled to write a glowing review of this establishment. I've been looking for a local Chinese restaurant for a long time that meets my expectations and this place exceeds them. The dishes that we ordered were amazing and authentic. I've been in some very expensive Chinese restaurants and those don't compare to what I had this evening. Each dish is smothered with veggies and pungent with flavor. Each dish is unique and distinctive in taste no matter what you get. Upon delivery of the dishes you will notice how colorful they are and the size of the portions is daunting to most. You will go home with doggie bags. The hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had...it needs no help at all. General Tao's Chicken is rich with color and flavor with large chunks of chicken and a delicate covering. But what blew me away was the House Special Egg Foo Yung...its stunning to see upon delivery with all the veggies and meats of every kind. Suffice to say I was 110% satisfied paying the bill and I will be back again...soon! read more
