Very reasonably priced Ribeyes come with bread, soup, salad and tasty baked potato if that's your choice side. Make a reseveration. The owners make sure the dining room is staggered so that everyone is served without any delays. Do it, and you'll never sit waiting for seat, it's already ready for you. By having a reservation, a small business on the Divide can make they have what they need for dinner without waste. I love the history, love the old town feel and the sense of community. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. There are other dishes on the menu that look interesting, but perhaps next time. The Miscellaneous The Moon's Korean Kitchen is along US-50, about midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. You can miss it if you zoom through the highway. The restaurant is not super big per say, but there's a decent amount of seating for its size. During the time we went, it seemed like the owner was soloing the entire place. But the food came at a reasonable time. The restaurant doesn't have an extensive menu, but it's straightforward with variety. There are appetizers with barbeque, stews, noodles, amongst others. Though it is not a place one would visit often, they do have yummy food. Would recommend making the pit stop if you are around the area.

Alley greeted us as we walked in and she let us sit wherever we wanted. I liked how there are big windows that allow a lot of light to shine in. The art in the walls was so beautiful. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls for an appetizer to share. For our main entrée, we each ordered the XL bowl of Pho Dac Biet and a couple of waters to sip on. Our appetizer was out within a few minutes. Gorgeous plating and the peanut sauce is delicious. The spring rolls were good. I prefer them with a little more peanut sauce and ingredients in the roll. The ones we ate didn't have any coriander or mint. After a couple bites I looked for it and they weren't in there (those ingredients were listed on the menu for shrimp spring rolls) but they were still delicious and packed very full with lettuce and vermicelli noodles. For our Pho, first we sipped the broth... it was very good beef broth! The aroma isn't as strong as we are used to and the flavor not as strong... it was more delicate and light... it still tasted of perfection! I like how the thin rare steak on top was filet mignon. Very tender.... however, the broth was so hot, it cooked the steak almost all the way before it got to the table. Alley was kind enough to bring out a few extra slices of meat so that I could enjoy it the way I really like. Service was fantastic and you have to ask Alley about her adorable manager! And the warmer Mo I don't often think about it, but they do have incredibly welcoming patio with lots of shade and great salads and sandwiches if you don't feel like soup. But of course there's always an awesome option of having a cup of soup with your sandwich just to round out the experience. From what I can tell, not a whole lot has changed about this spot and that's with good reason. Chicken with succulent, not overly sauce with light spice and the fresh veggies on top made for a really nice sandwich. The bread was a little bit thick and I ended up eating most of it open face so in the future, I'd say if there's an option for this barbecue chicken to go on top of the salad, you won't miss there. Speaking of salad that cute little side salad that comes with all the sandwiches is so good.
