Wonton soup (Large - that's both containers)
    Umesh T.

Very economically priced for the amount of food we received. We ordered the "Large" (big mistake!) Wonton soup, and Wor Wonton soups to go. The large was about 1.5x the normal containers (see pictures) and suffice it to say we could not finish it. The wontons were chicken wonton soups, while the "wor" ("everything") wontons included shrimp and pork, besides a good amount of napa cabbage in both. The broth was flavourful but were probably a salt bomb (which restaurant soup is not, anyway?). Having said that, it was a great heartwarming meal after a chilly day out, including time in the snow.

Royal Dragon's Lunch special has everything I like in one plate for under ten bucks. Pretty rad

    Fried rice never replaced?!?!?!

Their takeaway is really good! Hot, fresh, and they're very generous, reasonably priced, and accommodating. Great little place.

Great for takeout. Buffet isn't quite as good as it used to be, but takeout is always nice and fresh.

Parking sucks, so you may need to park at the bank next door, but for a small town place it doesn't get much better.

After a wonderful dinner and both Patti and Randy coming to talk, on the way out Patti said, it better not be hundreds of more times till you come back! Well, it wasn't. We decided to leave Auburn and move to Georgetown, and we now live a 1/2 mile away. We have a standing reservation every Friday, our neighbors are there, we solve world's problems all with a cold adult beverage, great friends and owners we want to support. The steaks? Awesome. Very reasonably priced Ribeyes come with bread, soup, salad and tasty baked potato if that's your choice side. Make a reseveration. The owners make sure the dining room is staggered so that everyone is served without any delays. Do it, and you'll never sit waiting for seat, it's already ready for you. By having a reservation, a small business on the Divide can make they have what they need for dinner without waste. I love the history, love the old town feel and the sense of community. Exactly why you'd go. Cheers...suck it. Everyone knows everyone, and good times had by all.

Tried the loaded baked potato, chicken tortilla, clam chowder, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soups were great - no complaints. My least favorite was the clam chowder, it was a bit peppery for my liking but still good. They're not the best I've ever had, but super satisfying and I'll definitely be back to try more! The grilled cheese was the surprise winner of it all. Cheddar on sourdough - simple but amongst the best I've ever had. It didn't need all the extra fancy stuff, I liked it simple. Nice strong cheddar flavor on a yummy bread :). Prices were reasonable considering inflation . $5.75 I think for a cup, $10.50 for a bowl and $13.50 for a bread bowl. I should've asked the price of the flight because I definitely want to try that. The bread bowl filled me up for lunch, but idk that the soup alone would have. Location is inside Glazed and Confused donuts, to the left of CVS. It's a bit hidden - a true hidden gem. Service was good. Order at the counter. We got the food to-go, but there are about four 4-person tables inside to eat at. They also have an arcade type game and small kids area with some random play stuff and books.

The grilled cheese sandwich was awesome and a great compliment to the meal. We will definitely be going back to try some other flavors. I see that they have added a selection of fries....gotta try the poutine....hopefully, they serve it old school without battering/deep frying the curds. Would definitely return and recommend.

Yay! Our new favorite lunch place on Main Street!…read more We just stopped by last weekend, we've been wanting to try this place out but it just hadn't happened.... Last Monday we decided to have lunch there, one of our regular places is closed Mondays and this place was open so we checked it out...and we're SO SO glad we did! Atmosphere was nice and server was very friendly from the moment we walked in. First thing I noticed; $5 mimosas!! I asked if they did anything other than orange juice and yes, they had several other options so I had the cranberry version. Delicious! I went with their mac and cheese, my partner got the basic hamburger. Mac and Cheese -- definitely very bacon forward, much more than I prefer. That being said, I still liked it, it also had sour cream and green onion on top. Bacon lovers will LOOOVE this version, there is LOTS of it and every bite you can taste it. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. I took a bite and yeah, I'd order that for sure. The fries were great, too. Overall we were super happy with our lunch, I thought it was priced fairly as well. We will definitely be back!!

I'll give 2* because the food (when it came) was great…read more We've been to Franny's a couple times before and had O.K. service and good food. The pitfalls of the restaurant seem to be entirely the service. Most recently we went to Franny's on Mother's Day. We had reservations and walked in, on time. We were initially sat in a nice booth in the front of the restaurant. It was my wife and I plus our 2 kids, the table size seemed appropriate. After being sat, we sat without talking to a server for 10+ minutes, not even getting waters. Eventually, when someone did come, it was a waitress/hostess telling us that there had been a mix up, and we needed to move. We weren't excited on the idea, as we were happy where we were, but we moved to the back of the restaurant. This time we sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any wait staff. At this point it is 9:25 and we've been seated for 25 minutes without even water. Finally a waitress comes, and takes our drink order, and our food order as we'd definitely had ample time to look over the menu. About 9:50 the food arrives. My wife and kids' food comes and is great. My food comes and looks off, and the waitress tells me that the kitchen accidentally made me a "veggie" scramble instead of the chorizo that I had ordered, but that she'd get me some bacon and all was well. I asked what was in the veggie scramble and was told it has mushrooms, which is a hard pass for me. She told me she could have what I had actually ordered made but it would "take a long time". I said O.K. - what else was I going to do? Finally it comes, and my wife is done eating, and the kids are close, so, I asked for it to be "boxed up". The waitress rolled her eyes and set to the task. I'm not a restaurant snob - but I really expected an apology or something to be "comp'd" due to the rough experience, but nope, full bill and no apology. Regrettably, despite Franny's being a local joint and having good food, we won't be back.

We made a pit stop, and ordered their Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl, along with Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup. The order also came with banchan, side dishes with cucumber, radish, and kimchi. The Kimchi Spam Rice Bowl had a good mix of ingredients and was delicious. The Pork Rib Soybean Paste Soup was flavorful and has a good kick to it. There are other dishes on the menu that look interesting, but perhaps next time. The Miscellaneous The Moon's Korean Kitchen is along US-50, about midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. You can miss it if you zoom through the highway. The restaurant is not super big per say, but there's a decent amount of seating for its size. During the time we went, it seemed like the owner was soloing the entire place. But the food came at a reasonable time. The restaurant doesn't have an extensive menu, but it's straightforward with variety. There are appetizers with barbeque, stews, noodles, amongst others. Though it is not a place one would visit often, they do have yummy food. Would recommend making the pit stop if you are around the area.

When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.
