The guy spent a good while on that cabinet door, sanding it by hand even though it was just a small warp. Caught a glimpse of the paint can, some Sherwin-Williams stuff, and yeah, the room looks brighter without that cheap flat finish from before. He even left the leftover paint, which is nice cause I always forget to note the color code.

At the time, I had done most of the work and just needed some priming in a few small areas, and two coats of paint and that's it. They sold me as if I needed the total package - prep, touch-ups, priming, painting. I found a great other painter that was literally half the price. I gave them 5-star because the guy that came out was nice, and gave their reputation a boost, but at the end of the day, I didn't need full-service. I needed DONE. They should have priced it as-such. Now, their follow-up system won't leave me alone even though the job has been done for a while.

They color matched perfectly both main and trim colors. Provided a 3 step process of power washing, priming & 2 coats main and trim colors. Very happy with how bright and fresh it all looks. My company used Vanhousing to do some upgrades to our retail showroom. I had three bidders come…read morelook at the work. Vanhousing's estimator showed up on time, asked good questions, wasn't pushy, and seemed to legitimately care about understanding the scope and what we were looking to achieve. Their bid was competitive and I had a good deal of faith in their ability to provide a great experience given what I'd read in other reviews. Vlad and his team ended up having to work through a multitude of challenges in order to deliver the end result that we enjoyed. I received constant professional communication (day, night, weekend) when things weren't going well (outside of their control) and what they were doing to resolve. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options. Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences. Its that additional amount of work that they did which has me so enthusiastic about referring them to anyone needing painting done (commercial or residential.)

Neighbors have come by to comment on it as well. The crew's attention to detail is the reason, but working with the team is a pleasure as well. After being burned in the past, the entire experience was a relief. I'm so glad a friend recommended Tera Painting to us.

Due to dry rot, this also required carpentry work. In just about a week, they replaced about 40-50 rotten boards, painted the deck wood and walls, did other cosmetic repairs, and ensured everything was moved back to where it was when they were done. Their communication was on point and they always showed up when they said they would. Matt goes beyond as well. He makes sure you're aware of all options on how what kind of finishes are possible and why any might be considered. He addressed structural issues caused by the original builders. He also approaches the project in a manner that ensures the rest of the house won't get damaged during the work (in this case, hoisting all the new and old wood off the roof via rope). Would highly recommend.
