This company is awful. Do not trust them to do your door or painting. They came out to install new doors and had the wrong facing door. Tried to install it anyway until I said it was the wrong way. Then they went bought a new door painted it and painted the window of the door and missed several spots around the glass because they were in a hurry as they messed up earlier. Then they reinstalled my storm door improperly and it won't shut on its own like it used to. After coming and and inspecting everything they told me it was immaculate. This company is a joke and should never be trusted for any work on a house. A child could have painted my door better than they did. I could have installed the door better than they could and I have never installed a door. It has been almost 2 months now and still no resolution to fixing the problems. Oh and they left the area they worked a complete mess. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

All the crew at Alba were great! I had Klod come out to my new restaurant in Kingston to bid on the interior painting as the walls were pale green, yellow, black and grey. I knew the blue color I wanted, but wasn't sure about the white. Klod suggested one that worked out perfectly. They were in and out in just a couple days and "WOW" is the only word that comes to mind. Everything was perfect. They didn't leave any tape, paint cans, plastic, or anything other than a can of each color for me for future touch ups. Price was right there with other quotes but I'm so glad I went with Alba as it's not often you work with a company who comes in on time, listens to you, does exactly what you ask and then some without you having to check on them, charges a fair price and is about as nice and professional as they come. House was Painted Sep 2016 and then retouched in Oct due to problems with the work. Currently we are having massive blistering of the paint on all sides of the house. When we call, we are told that they are out of country in Europe on vacation. Have sent multiple pictures of dozens of areas that are lifting. Now when we call they don't answer and their voice mail is full. It has been "Crickets" in terms of getting this resolved. Warranty on work completed means nothing if you don't stand behind it. Clearly, we need to contact some more people. If you are having work done, please respond to this post and I will send you pictures of what we are experiencing. I am beginning a total kitchen remodel first of January 2021 and as part plan on painting the kitchen. I was given Alba from a neighbor and contacted them for an estimate. I set the date and time with them but no one ever showed up nor did they contact me at any point after this. Not reliable. If they did not want the work why would you set up a fake date and time to provide an estimate? Unable to provide any good info on this company as in my opinion, if I hire them after this treatment, will they arrive on time and finish the job professionally and on price? We had Alba Pro Painters come and paint our 7 year old house that was badly faded from constant sun exposure. They did everything they promised, from power washing first to final touches of trim paint. Klod was very kind and helpful with my indecision of paint finishes. I chose a satin finish for one of the colors, and was immediately dissatisfied with it. He said, no problem. He very happily repainted the area I was not happy with in a flat finish. ( I should have listened to Klod in the first place, when he recommended a flat finish. Lesson learned!) The crew was on time every morning, they did not waste any time at all during the day. Alba pro painting contracted out the project on our building a couple years ago. After just one year it was evident they hadn't prepped most the serfices on the building to be painted and a lot of the paint in MANY spots were flaking off. I tried to contact them that year but didn't reach them and only reached voicemail when i called. I only tried twice and then got wrapped up in other things with our condo complex. Fast forward to this year. A few weeks ago I contacted Alba Pro Painting to honor their warranties and left a couple messages. I eventually got a call back with a promise to come out that evening after a meeting to check the work. I called back the individual as we had agreed to let them know that i was home and available as i told them I would. (it is possible this person was Klad?) He not only didn't call me, but he didn't show up. Now 3 weeks later I contacted alba yesterday, Expressed on voicemail firmly but politely that i did not have the time or effort available to chase them around and that they needed to resolve these issues. (maybe i should post pictures of how bad the work is?) They called me the next day and began to tell me to act with humility and manners prior to addressing any concerns. Never mind that i had patiently tried to contact them for some time now with plenty of humility. I told them it was a bad time to talk and that i would call them when i had more time. They persisted in texting me repeatedly about humility and manners and then began to tell me all about how Klad - DAYS after ignoring me and failing to show up to his appointment had broken his foot. I said "I don't care if he died" you hadn't returned my calls since BEFORE then. Apparently they took this to mean that I actually didn't care if the person was dead, and every conversation after that followed with Edmund referencing my insensitivity and "talking like nothing was in my head" I even tried to tell Edmund when he got here I do not want to talk about people and relationships i want to focus on the product and service we bought from his business and our business relationship and he said I can't do that I'm human and I said then consider me not human so we can move on. I showed him several horrible issue with the paint job and he continued to insult me throughout the process, eventually I lost composure and told him he had horrible customer service. "This is where he said we've been doing this for 20 years and are doing great." and followed with "Your lucky I'm in my work shirt because we would not be talking if we were on the street." I said "no one is going to get violent here or I'll call the police." He told me to "call the police, I'll put a lean on your house." I said "for what? we're paid in full you can't." He said "I can." I said "I guess I'll see you in court but I actually have a right to sue you are in breach of contract." So Alba is in breach of their warranty, is so hard to get a hold of that it will make you angry before you talk to them and when you finally do they will threaten you with violence AND LEANS ON YOUR HOUSE EVEN IF YOU PAID. Unfortunately these people ALSO happen to know where i live, so I will be taking all necessary security measures now including reporting them to BBB, SEC, and filing for a restraining order against Edmund. NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

We hired Alba to paint our house on Mercer Island recently. The house is very tall and skinny (and on a hill) and formerly a very dark color. Within three days it was transformed to a modern masterpiece with a light gray and slighter darker accent sections. Klod was in communication and visited with us on site daily. The crew was ultra-friendly and left the site clean daily. We expected this to take a full week but it was 100% done in less than three days. The caulking and attention to detail was impressive and I could not find anything to point out that needed correction. Great value and service....highly recommended! read more

We bought a house in Edmonds last year and as part of the move in process we had Alba out to paint the upstairs. Very stressful time with managing a short move in date and an even shorter remodel schedule. They did an amazing job and put in the hours to help us meet our schedule. Flash forward to December, 2015 when it was time to remodel the downstairs....again it was a great experience! They helped coordinate the effort by giving us some great recommendations for an electrician and a carpenter to finish out a couple rooms.
