It was nice dealing with a veteran owned business that feels really personal with a hands on owner. For some stupid reason 1 side of my wall was basically missing a row of blocks. I've always HATED that my neighbor and I could stare into each other's patio doors without trying. I never wanted to offend him by asking to build the wall up but I took advantage to bring it up as they were moving out. He said yeah he hated it too so go for it. He's on the HOA board so my architectural request got approved within days and the search for a mason began. I got a bunch of responses to my Yelp project request with some saying they don't do small jobs like mine, some crazy quotes of 2k (assume that was F off pricing). Luckily Mr. Brown responded with an incredibly fair quote after I sent details and photos and I think he stopped by the next morning to drop off samples to make sure the colors matched. We got it scheduled pretty quickly and his in person quote was a little lower than the text quote, which has never happened before. It really says what a good and honest person you're dealing with. His guy came out on time, was nice and did a great job. The only issue was that I didn't think I had to mention the mortar should match the existing not match the block color. I didn't pay attention and only caught it after it was done. Mr Brown came out to take a look and his suggestion was to cover the brown mortar with grey. It's not an exact match (I knew it wouldn't be) but it's good enough and I really appreciate his quick response. The other half was epoxy with a colored flakes combination which could no longer be matched. So, I contacted Ben who offered options to beautify an ugly patio. We decided to go with stripping the painted section and grind out the existing epoxy section and re-epoxy the entire patio. It was a bigger job than I expected. Ben and his crew: Gabe, Julio, and Bryce work tirelessly for several days to complete the job and finished on schedule. I was tired of the low quality solar landscape lights I was using, and I wanted a more permanent…read moresolution that was not dependent on how much sun was hitting it during the day. The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

To say we were shell shocked and devastated would be putting it mildly. Our home was now in ruins. Bathrooms, cabinetry, flooring, drywall were all destroyed and our home was basically unlivable. We were down to studs and raw plumbing. We immediately began to search for the perfect contractor to help us rebuild our home and put our lives back together. We reviewed multiple contractors online and in person, as well as checking with the Nevada Contractors Board and local permitting offices. One name consistently stood out and was above all others. Jerezee Construction. They had hundreds of 5-star reviews which led me to review their gallery of photos on their website. Their quality of work caught my attention. I reached out to their office and spoke to Ian. We found him to be very professional. He immediately set up an appointment and was incredibly empathetic to our plight. The way he handled our initial contact was so different from other companies we contacted. The next step in our journey was meeting the owner Ilan who arrived at our home to assess the damage. It was quickly apparent this was an experienced and highly qualified contractor. He demonstrated exceptional standards, made suggestions, was extremely organized but above all else inspired confidence that he could help us. He reviewed the contract with us line by line, leaving no stone unturned and highly transparent with clear expectations. No hidden fees, and no surprises. Once the project began, a group text was established. This was updated twice daily throughout the project to keep us informed. We next met Heather, one of Jerezee's designers. Heather quickly recognized we were in over our head and inundated with so many decisions and choices to make. She took the lead and helped us make selections on flooring, bathroom tiles, color palates, hardware, lighting fixtures and paint. She made a comprehensive material list which was amazing. Heather was invaluable to us. She was so patient, knowledgeable and held my hand through every step. Both my husband and I are analytical with no creative bone in our body so doing the design part and picking out product was impossible for us. We couldn't have done this rebuild without her. We were assigned a project manager named David. He was the first line supervisor for all the crew and sub-contractors at our home. He was incredibly responsive, timely, accessible, patient, upbeat and positive always. He made a highly stressful period of our life bearable and was such a joy to work with. He was the right man, at the right time, at the right place for us. As the work progressed it quickly became apparent that all their rave reviews were justified. Construction started exactly as planned and they made the process so easy for us. They handled EVERYTHING! Their craftmanship was impeccable. It was as if they were rebuilding their own house. Ilan, the owner was often on site inspecting the work and the progress. Ilan and David were true perfectionists, and nothing escaped their skilled eyes. At the end of the project, we didn't even have a punch list! Their crew and subcontractors were always polite, respectful, professional and kind. Everyone worked so hard to get us back into our home and genuinely seemed empathetic and understanding of our initial heartbreak.
