I had a wonderful experience working with them. I am so happy with the attention to detail, communication and professionalism on my shower project. I was very thankful that the areas around my bathroom were prepped this minimizing the disruption in the household. I am looking forward to my next project. read more

I will definitely contact Rock Solid Home Repair FIRST for any future needs. Not only did they do a great job, but ease of scheduling and no hassle approach to the homeowners made this installation a very pleasant experience for me. Our technician was Scott and he did an excellent job. He was very professional making it easy for us to continue going about our day inside the house while he worked. Job description: Over-the-range microwave stopped working and model was discontinued by GE. Scott installed a different model I purchased with slightly different dimensions and did a great job making it work with little notice to the difference in dimensions. He even pointed out how the previous model was installed incorrectly with the blower motor facing the wrong direction. He insured ours was facing the correct way. Thank you Rock Solid! read more

I had reached out on Christmas Eve to get a quote on repairing a decorative window shutter on the exterior 2nd story of my home due to an HOA letter I received. I was not expecting a quick response considering a lot of businesses were Out of Office for the holiday which is understandable. When they reached out, they were able to give me a general quote based on photos and a brief description of what I was looking for. They were also transparent about availability on completing the project and payment options. On the day of, Scott had arrived promptly. Frank arrived shortly after and together they started working on the repair (I'm glad they used 2 persons for safety considering it was on the 2nd story above my garage). Scott was friendly and asked if I had any paint that matched the shutter (which I didn't even think of ahead of time, but it totally makes sense now). He did not make me feel like an idiot when I said "no", and said it was okay and he would do his best to use a color-matching glue/sealer. While Scott was on the 2nd story of my home, he took the time to inspect the area up there and showed me a photo of a dent I had where a good chunk of stucco was missing and exposing the chicken wire. He expressed I should consider fixing it as soon as I am able as I can run into problems if water gets in there over time, but he did not pressure me to do it right then and there. Also a bonus - I was easily able to pay via Apple Pay which was very convenient! I will absolutely use them again if needed. Overall: - Price: fair compared to other vendors I shopped - Response time: good - Payment Options: good - Availability: good - Quality of work: good read more

In the beginning, I thought RSHR was awesome. They completely renovated one of my bathrooms which included sub-floor replacement, finished floor, drywall repairs, paint, electrical work, plumbing, and installation of tub, vanity, and toilet. It was perfect. Two months later I started to renovate the 2nd bathroom. Easy-peasy, right? Wrong. The guy they sent to replace the sub-floor either didn't know what he was doing or was just too lazy to do it right. He had enough energy to level the tub area, but then he left the rest of the floor (where the vanity and toilet would sit) un-leveled by 1". I stopped patronizing RSHR when this happened. read more

This is our 2nd time using Rock Solid. They did such a great job when replacing our sliding glass door we decided to use them again. We needed a partial bathroom remodel so we contacted Enrico for an estimate. The estimate came right on budget and I was excited for them to get started. On the first day of construction the team was not only on time they were early. They did such a great job getting organized and ready to start. They are so considerate of your home while working which I really appreciated. Scott was top notch with great attention to detail. I also had a kitchen cabinet hinge break a couple days prior to construction. I contacted Enrico and they were able to fix that at the same time. I trust Rock Solid to handle all my home improvement jobs big or small because they are truly the best! read more

Rock Solid Home Repair owner Enrico is AWESOME!!! I live in Silverado Hills and like many homeowners many of these houses do not have a pantry. Enrico came to the house drew out the plans and sent me a very reasonable estimate which I gladly accepted and I could not be happier that I did. Enrico's Master Carpenters Ricardo and Scott came to my house and built me and my wife a beautiful pantry... For 3 days they built my pantry and it was a joy to have them at my home, Ricardo and Scott were true professionals and the attention to detail while building my pantry were beyond my expectations!!! Job #1. Well this was actually two jobs for one call out. The first was removing the driveway lights and wiring. No fault to Steve, he looked like he was losing his mind trying to figure out the wiring. This was lazy electrical work on behalf of the builders. In a nutshell all the wiring forward of the garage was tapped into one wire. Scrap removing the wiring. That would take too much work. Plan B. Disconnect the wiring from the box. Leave dead wire in the dirt. No can do. All the other wiring is tapped into that wire. Had to settle for Plan C waterproof cap the wire that was connected to the lights. Job #2. Remove old caulking to the backsplash and lay new caulking. Little misunderstanding that was fixed. In conclusion, had a very professional and extremely courteous call with the owner, Enrico who explained everything very well and assured me that all the work done was up to "Code". This was my main worry and that worry was put to rest. I HIGHLY recommend Rock Solid Home Repair. Why? They are very professional and courteous. They are willing to make things right no matter what it takes. The prices are reasonable and fair. Thank you Rock Solid Home Repair and hope to see you guys again soon. read more

I was referred to Rico and his team by a different company. I was looking for someone to remove my old cooktop and oven and install the new ones. I was initially attracted to Rico's company because he offered more competitive pricing than the other company that installed our other appliances. Well, as I found out the day of removal and install, not only did I get a good rate, but I also got the best guy for the job! Michael did a perfect job and was very careful in his work from start to finish! I noticed that he took his time to make sure everything fit right and that everything was in perfect order. He even sealed the gas cooktop for us before he left. Great communication, friendly crew and competitive rates! Look no further! We will be using Rock Solid for any future projects! read more

I can't believe this is my first review of Rock Solid, because I have hired them for about 10 projects around my home throughout the years. The owners, Rico and Kristina are incredibly thorough on communication and responsive with quoting and booking. Each time that Rico or anyone on his crew have come out to complete a job, they are very professional, nice, and every job is completed perfectly. I have had them do small projects from hanging items in my home to large projects such as installing electrical and lighting and remodeling my kitchen. No matter how large or small the project is, they have made me feel like a priority and treat each job individually. You won't regret hiring them! read more

We were given a recommendation for this company by our real estate agent. We moved into a 15 year old home that needed some tweaking and booked an appointment for various needs. Scott and Alan showed up on time for the job. They were communicative, diligent, and helpful. They replaced one chandelier, three outdoor lights, two smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, a dimmer switch, a bath tub/shower diverter, and a shower door glide. They installed towel hooks, cabinet knobs and handles on existing cabinets. They tightened up all of the cabinet hinges in the kitchen and baths. We will definitely have them back for our future jobs. We highly recommend this business to everyone. read more

Nothing but great things to say about RSHR. I hired Enrico's team to do the baseboards in our home. He, and his team, had great communication from start to finish. Francisco and Pablo were the two at our home completing the job, both respectful and hard working. Some of the cuts around the corners were difficult, but everything came out great. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Left us with a great product for a great price. We will be using them in the future for our other projects, 10/10 recommend! read more

Rock Solid Home Repair has done several jobs at our home and performed EXCELLENT work every time. They are reliable, courteous, professional, and know what they are doing. Quick and efficient, and they really clean up the site as well (which seems like a "duh", but some workers don't clean up so well). The quality of their work exceeded their fees and we will continue to use them in the future. We'd give them TEN stars if we could! Thank you Enrico and Rock Solid Home Repair! read more

This is an UPDATE to my review and response to Mr. Ghiloni's comment: There was no miscommunication whatsoever. Mr. Ghiloni's final answer to me was that he wouldn't take any amount of money to finish the job and he absolutely would not discuss it further. As I stated below - he kept all monies given to him which was the full payment and left a disaster behind. After I posted my review below he contacted me a couple of times to take my review down. I replied that if he finished the job, I'd remove the review. Needless to say, he didn't finish the job, I'm not taking down the review. Fair is fair. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Enrico J Ghiloni was hired to replace a window with a door. He ordered the door, delivered it, half removed the window, tore up the wall and hung plastic. When it was time to finish the job he said that he was already losing $500 on this job and had too many hours invested in it. He also said that I was rude for asking for accounting of monies and time since none of it adds up. He then announced that he's refusing to finish the job. He didn't mind keeping the money though. I DO NOT recommend him. read more

Was prepared to pay over $1500 for closet re-do: demo, drywall, paint, install Rubbermaid closet system. Company wanted another 3.5% if I used a credit card. I agreed to that as well. Then Enrico decided to decline the job. Demo, drywall, paint and install requires "dry time." Can't be done in one visit. Unprofessional. Was not in any hurry to have the work done...I specifically expressed "by the end of the year..." would be fine. Enrico wanted work done this week in one day... but, again...it's a three part job: 1st, demo & drywall...let mud dry... 2nd, paint....let paint dry...finally, install closet system. You can't paint over wet mud. You can't install over wet paint. Offered to pay for each step. No one smart pays for a job before it's finished. And this guy has a rep for pulling out of a job before it's finished...even though he's collected money for the job. Using a credit card is the best way to dispute bad or incomplete service. Zelle is not. I wanted to do business with pros...not bush-leaguers. At no point did I balk about the price. (Today, 11/8/23, the owner is trying to bully me into taking down or changing my review. Repeat: I had no problem with the prices ... was willing to pay for each of 3 stages of the job as each was completed. Look at his reviews. He has a habit of giving up on a gig when it becomes too challenging...and he feels he's into the job more than it's going to pay. He declined my job when presented with questions he couldn't honestly answer.) read more

This company does excellent work and are very responsive to questions. They are up front about when they can do the work and how long.
