Impact Plumbing to the rescue! I contacted a variety of plumbers via Yelp to help with a malfunctioning hot water heater. Not only was Impact one of the first to respond, but they noted they could get a technician onsite in an hour - on a Sunday, no less! The technician texted when enroute and arrived right when scheduled. The diagnosis was quick (full replacement, womp womp) and the quote was reasonable. Blake thoroughly walked through all the replacements and explained everything that was included in the replacement package plus warranty options. I felt very informed in making the decision to proceed. It was pleasantly surprised when Blake said that they could do a same day replacement, especially when I was just expecting a quote and diagnosis! Blake and Jase got the job done in about 2.5 hours and within an hour of their departure, the hot water was back in action. Woke up to water leaking from our water heater. Impact Plumbing had a technician sent to our home within an hour and a half of my initial call. They assessed our tank and gave us options. They cut out the old section of copper, installed a new piece with a fresh drop-ear 90, and even added new backing wood for the shower riser so everything was solid. The work came with a 2-year parts and labor warranty, which gave me peace of mind. Price was fair, service was excellent, and they got everything done quickly and clean. My tank water heater was nearing the end of its useful life and I needed a replacement. I used the Yelp contact process to reach out to multiple local companies, and Impact Plumbing was one of three that I asked to come to my house for a quote. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go tankless this go-round. The rep that visited my home gave me quotes for both options - tank and tankless. Both were fair and competitive as compared to the other 2 companies. More importantly, the rep was honest with me about why tankless was probably not the best choice for my home's configuration. While they were willing to do a tankless installation, it became clear that it would require more piping, drywall work, and the like. While I liked the eco-friendly nature of tankless, it just wasn't the best option for me. So I opted for replacing the tank as well as the recirculating pump. Impact won my business based on its responsiveness, the friendliness and frankness of the rep, and price. While my repair wasn't urgent because the old heater was chugging along, it was clear that its days were numbered. Once again I was impressed that Impact could've done the work the next day if I wanted. The install work itself proceeded smoothly. Impact told me that it would take about 4 hours, and I was shocked when it was done in nearly half that time. Talk about quick, friendly service. I put in a request for service for a leaking water heater. Impact plumbing was the first to reach out. They offered to come same day but with everything happening so fast i was scared to get charged an emergency fee so I declined and said the following morning would be better. To be clear i called them back and asked if there was an emergency fee and there wasn't. Still keep my appointment for the following morning. Chris came out, inspected the situation and gave us quotes for all our options. We went with the option to go tankless. Me being me started freaking out with how much we were going to pay. Started going through all the added expenses next month. Child care, tutoring, braces. Just all the things life throws. I tried to cancel. Just to really think about our options. Chris kept calm and understood the situation. We were lucky and received a new quote because of a new manufacturer they were using. We went ahead and kept our appointment and Chris was here all day. They answered my request for a quote SO quickly and had someone at my house within an hour. I've had my home for 5 years.The inside of toilet, there is a chain and the little rubber thing inside needed to be replaced, because water was seeping through. The cost for two toilets to replace these part cost me $277. I didn't request for any services to be rushed, but I definitely wanted them fixed. I'm not a handy person and don't really know anything about these things. I am not sure if this was a good value. Called a week ago to have a supervisor callback regarding botched work done by one of their contractors a year ago and the receptionist stated that we should hear back asap but here we are a week later and still no call. Went with another plumbing company who was able to fix everything within 20 minutes in ONE visit and even the other contractor from a different company who fixed the mistakes of the contractor from Impact Plumbing stated that the contractor we hired from impact plumbing used the wrong parts and left it worse than it was before. Really disappointed in the lack of response to addressing issues we've encountered and the bad work done by one of their contractors. The contractor spent three visits to our home, wasn't able to fix it, had another coworker come with him and still wasn't able to fix it, wasted our time those three days, and left our shower in worse condition than before. All that tells me is that they have incompetent contractors and management who don't care to follow up with calls/complaints. read more

UPDATED TWICE. They did the work and offered a cash discount. Now for all the cons. The cash discount was contingent upon paying in actual cash. I didn't feel great about withdrawing 8k and carrying that around. There was zero proactive communication. I had to call them 4-5 times and things were never done when they promised. They asked for the cash without a receipt. We did work around this by getting to owner on the phone to email me a receipt. They left the worksite with caution tape and plywood after they said they were "done" didn't show up when they promised to clean it up. Super sketchy and just not a great experience. RESPONSE to their response: I wasn't confused that the cash price was optional when deciding to take the cash price I called to ask if I could Zelle/venmo, money order, or get details for a bank transfer for the deposit and was told "actual cash/greenbacks" only. I still took the discounted deal but there are safer and less sketchy ways of handing business transactions than cash that don't incur a fee. I was asked for the entire amount without a receipt in hand "we will come back tomorrow with it". And yes we worked that out acceptably via emailed receipt, but they tried to take money without offering a receipt. No one named Andrew has contacted or spoken to me about my experience. Unless he called and didn't leave a message. I called the office first this morning to speak with someone because I received a text that asked that I call to discuss my review and no one has called me back 8ish hours later. I decided to check if there was a response here. I stand behind everything I wrote. FINAL response. Did finally speak to the general manager Andrew. Over a week after the project ended and not long after I posted my response. Nice guy, listened to all the other things I didn't put in my review, he offered to come by and make things right. It's around 5pm and I decided to give good ole Yelp a shot when it came to needing plumbing service. My washer drain pan needed to be re-positioned to accommodate the new washing machine. Got the new pan but upon moving my washer out of the way it looked like I would need to remove an actual drain rather than the simple screw on drain plug I was expecting. Within minutes of my Yelp request, Impact plumbing sent a response with someone who can be available for a free on-site estimate the following morning. 8am sharp Michael arrived and ready to help! Free estimate check, prompt service check! Michael had the pan removed and installed the new drain pan immediately! Fast, friendly and clean job! A few months ago, I received an alert from a leak sensor that there was a leak in an upstairs bathroom. Trouble was, this was at a property in Henderson, a four-hour drive from my primary residence. I drove the four hours out to Henderson, and sure enough, the tank in an upstairs toilet had been slowly filling, to the point it was leaking (slowly, thankfully) from the flush handle. I called Impact, who was able to come out in my limited schedule, and the plumber who arrived was on time, and friendly and seemed to know his business. I intended to replace the toilet, but asked him his opinion: Should I replace the toilet, or just the tank innards, or perhaps the shutoff valve since it was the tank filling? He said the shutoff valve was a ball valve in perfect shape and would last forever, and just replacing the tank innards would be a cost-effective way to address the problem. He also pressure-tested (I believe it was) the house and found everything to be normal. I drove back home. All good, until a month later when I got the water leak alarm, from the same sensor, AGAIN. I drove the four hours out to Henderson again, and it was the same issue. The tank had slowly filled and water was dribbling out from the flush handle. I called Impact (whose website, at the time, said "24/7 emergency service" - it no longer says that), and got their voicemail. I explained who I was and what happened, that I only had one day to get this addressed, and they never called me back. To this day they haven't called me back. I called another company who came out, said the ball valve was bad and needed to be replaced, and they replaced the toilet as well, and now, a couple of months later, all is still good. Interesting side note: The second plumber I called went to 'pressure test' the house and said he found it very strange that there was no pressure release (again, I think he called it) on the outside of the house and no main shutoff, something plumbers have been telling me for years. He fixed that too, but if there was no pressure valve, how did Impact's plumber pressure test the house? Anyway, it's better now, and Impact is obviously very competent and capable from the other reviews here, but my experience was less than stellar. I know who I'll be calling next time, and who I won't. read more
