We were looking for a new company after our old one moved, submitted an inquiry thru Yelp project quotes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We received promising service as an introduction, between reaching out to me after the inquiry promptly and sending a technician the next morning - the tech was on time and friendly, seemingly knowledgeable so I gave them a star for this positive start.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But when the tech had to call in the job after arriving to ask for a quote and they quoted us $1,200 to replace one hose Bibb outside - they said due to a soldering issue it would be a bigger repair and would have to get into the stucco wall. We said, thank you for your time but no way. Another company squeezed us in, they showed up also on time at first available opening and completed the job at about 1/4th cost compared to the quote we got from this company, no himming and hawing about any challenges to do the work, the other company replaced not only the leaky Bibb but also replaced a 2nd Bibb that had a small crack we didn't know about. The other company got all done in under an hour & no need to cut into the wall so it's hard to understand the pricing factored for our repair from this one. read more

Had them out for a free estimate. I was told my hot water issue was most likely a valve issue and/or cartridge issue. He suggested $2k to knock out my drywall behind the shower, replace valves and a cartridge. Didn't include a drywall fix. I explained the house was only 5 years old and could it just be the cartridge? He said if it was, that was around $600 but would probably not fix my issue. The $2k fix included the same correction as the $600, so it would be best to go the more expensive route to have everything covered. I explained that was far more money than expected and he said "well what would you pay," which made me feel like I had to negotiate. I didn't have a good feeling about this place. Second opinion came today and he fixed the issue in less than 5 mins for $200. We have hot water and high pressure again. I would never recommend this company. read more

After 25 years of use (abuse?) by me, I broke the faucet handle off on one of my bathroom sinks. That was Sunday. The next day, Memorial Day, I put a project on Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Within a very short time, I got a response and an appointment was set for me from 2PM to 4PM on Memorial Day from Impact Plumbing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't expect plumbing contractors to work on the holiday but they were. [[HIGHLIGHT]]An hour early, Blake and Jace, their two techs, showed up at my door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided to replace both sink faucest so they matched. The two guys went to Home Depot to get the new faucets. While they were gone, I boxed all the stuff from the cabinets underneath so they could have room to work. They started working and installed the new faucets. There are also new piping coming from the water supply. New stoppers were also installed. In a short time, the work was finished and they called me to come in and see the work. Now I have a working faucet that I don't have to pull down with force to shut off the water. Blake and Jace were top notch at what they do. Thanks so much for getting my new faucets installed and working properly. Not only was Impact one of the first to respond, but they noted they could get a technician onsite in an hour - on a Sunday, no less! The technician texted when enroute and arrived right when scheduled. The diagnosis was quick (full replacement, womp womp) and the quote was reasonable. Blake thoroughly walked through all the replacements and explained everything that was included in the replacement package plus warranty options. I felt very informed in making the decision to proceed. They cut out the old section of copper, installed a new piece with a fresh drop-ear 90, and even added new backing wood for the shower riser so everything was solid. Talk about quick, friendly service. I put in a request for service for a leaking water heater. Impact plumbing was the first to reach out. They offered to come same day but with everything happening so fast i was scared to get charged an emergency fee so I declined and said the following morning would be better. They answered my request for a quote SO quickly and had someone at my house within an hour. I've had my home for 5 years.The inside of toilet, there is a chain and the little rubber thing inside needed to be replaced, because water was seeping through. The cost for two toilets to replace these part cost me $277. I didn't request for any services to be rushed, but I definitely wanted them fixed. I'm not a handy person and don't really know anything about these things. I am not sure if this was a good value. My tank water heater was nearing the end of its useful life and I needed a replacement. I used the Yelp contact process to reach out to multiple local companies, and Impact Plumbing was one of three that I asked to come to my house for a quote. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go tankless this go-round. The rep that visited my home gave me quotes for both options - tank and tankless. Both were fair and competitive as compared to the other 2 companies. More importantly, the rep was honest with me about why tankless was probably not the best choice for my home's configuration. While they were willing to do a tankless installation, it became clear that it would require more piping, drywall work, and the like. While I liked the eco-friendly nature of tankless, it just wasn't the best option for me. So I opted for replacing the tank as well as the recirculating pump. Impact won my business based on its responsiveness, the friendliness and frankness of the rep, and price. While my repair wasn't urgent because the old heater was chugging along, it was clear that its days were numbered. Once again I was impressed that Impact could've done the work the next day if I wanted. The install work itself proceeded smoothly. Impact told me that it would take about 4 hours, and I was shocked when it was done in nearly half that time.
