called 9th Island plumbing and spoke to Will. I told him there was a leak in the upstairs bathroom. He said it would be $145 to cut a hole in the living room to see what's leaking. That's fine. Tobee came and told me it would be $245 if it's the tub drain that's broken, $245 if it's the tub spout , and if it's a broken drain, it would be $400-$800. It turned out to be the tub drain. he told me it would be $570 but he could make it $495..but $245+$145 = $390. just wish they were more clear with the price, break down. read more

***Update: So our toilet that was "fixed" by Tobee was dribbling a small amount of water the next morning from under the tank (the seepage was around the screw/bolt) and down to the toilet base onto the bathroom floor. 5+ extra stars for Super 9th Island Plumber Ryan who drove from about 40 minutes away after finishing a job in Anthem to our house to re-fix what his co-worker didn't notice at the time. Everybody makes mistakes so we weren't too upset and because Will was able to send Ryan the same day I called about it. Ryan is very detailed and found that the tank's screw/bolt hadn't been tightened well enough which (thank goodness) only required a minor adjustment (albeit uncomfortable and cramped positioning near a corner wall) and no charge for the return visit! 9th Island Plumbing keeps proving to me that they are a highly reputable company, and I'll be asking for Ryan next time (hopefully not too soon) to do all our plumbing jobs!*** Plumbing is expensive even for small jobs, but I think we will be changing to 9th Island Plumbing as our first call family plumbing service. We've hired them twice for toilet repair (different bathrooms). They gave the least expensive quote for our first time call compared to several other highly rated competitors, and I liked that I could directly text them a photo/video of the plumbing problem. I was a little confused when they didn't pick up the phone considering they're supposed to be open 24 hours, but their system re-connected to my chat messaging which I prefer anyway. I have never seen such amazing customer service like the owner Will and his company 9th island plumbing!!! I had a small leak coming from my water line that was attached to a water softener. I contacted 9th island plumbing to see if they could fix the leak. They answered quickly and came that day. They replaced the water line in 5 minutes and it fixed the leak. When they told me it was $120. I was a little surprised about the price but paid it anyways. I got an email asking about how their service was. I gave them 3 stars but said I would have gave them 5 stars but the pricing felt a little off for the amount of work that was done. Will texted me asking me how he and his company could have done better. I told him the pricing was a bit surprising for the amount of work. While they did help fix the toilet issue we were having with a valve replacement, they likely accidentally tampered with our bidet hose resulting in a leak while I was out of town. This has now resulted in water damage on my floor and walls, costing more to repair. Would have appreciated a check on all items to ensure everything was secure and working properly. Additionally, there was still a leak after the valve replacement and they flagged that there was likely a leak from the main line. I reached out to another plumber for a second opinion and they were able to find a separate leak elsewhere (not the mainline). So not very thorough in their inspection. read more

I've used this company twice now in recent months and it's my go to company for my home in Henderson, NV. A previous company was a no show with no calls, updates, etc the previous day so after I got a fair quote for replacing a manifold with some pex plumbing I was glad to see how they communicated. Text, email updates and driver arrival expectiations. Tobee was a knowledgable young man that went right to work and was professional with all the questions I had. He actually went back and changed some of the work because he didn't like it and wanted it up to his standard. I had a pin hole leak that resulted in some water damage to the master closet. I left the hole in the ceiling open for a month just to make sure everything was okay. Now, that the hole is covered up, the closet has been refinished and it's looking as good as new. The second time I used them was for a much simpler mixer valve that needed to be changed out in a shower. I had some guests and they weren't getting any hot water in their shower so I wanted it taken care of fairly quick. Again, they were very responsive and did a great job, both times.
