This review is submitted on behalf of my wife Tiffany C. and myself. Two words: Worth it. We consider ourselves blessed to have found Jarrell through Yelp. Over the years, we had our stairs repaired multiple times because no one bothered to figure out what the underlying issues were. Jarrell took the time to get to the bottom of what the issues were and came up with the appropriate solutions. We weren't just looking for someone who can do the job, we were essentially looking for someone who can permanently fix the issues with our stairs. And that person was Jarrell. Of the handful of contractors we have previously hired and ultimately failed, Jarrell was the one and only person who delivered and actually understood the assignment. Upon making an initial appointment for an estimate with Jarrell, he did contact me to let me know that he was on his way. He was on time. As per my request, he did contact me upon arrival and remembered not to ring the doorbell. Jarrell provided multiple estimates that we could choose from. Each estimate clearly listed all of the work that would be done, so that we would all be on the same page. With his attention to detail, Jarrell had remembered to include tasks that we had previously discussed verbally in the estimates. More importantly, he did follow through and complete these said tasks. Meaning, he is on top of things and doesn't need to be reminded. Jarrell is a man of his word. Punctuality Punctuality was taken very seriously. Jarrell consistently showed up on time on the dates and times he announced he would be working on the stairs. Communication Jarrell always kept an open line of communication. He welcomed questions and concerns. With my experience with previous contractors, I've always found this to be lacking and a struggle. Therefore, I was pleased with Jarrell's forthcoming communication that lasted throughout the entire project. Transparency Jarrell was transparent about fees and costs. These were communicated in advance. He is honest and trustworthy. Respectful After each time Jarrell came to work on the stairs, him and Arlene cleaned up, this included sweeping and tidying up the garage. This may be deemed common practice, however, with our previous experience with other contractors, it actually isn't common practice. Jarrell and Arlene also had things put away neatly and organized. Garbage produced from the project was also removed from the premises. Craftsmanship The quality of his work speaks for itself. There is attention to detail and precision. You should know by now how unbelievably difficult it is to find someone like Jarrell in Las Vegas. After Jarell blamed me for giving him COVID from the job site (teams never showed with COVID) he refused to finish. His work was extremely sloppy, he committed to a timeframe where he didn't finish the job and walked once he received 80% of payment. These guys were great, we had a smaller project as in putting in new attic access. Many declined as they wanted large projects. These guys came through with a good price, and work was done quick. My husband and I recently purchased an older home that we knew would be a total remodel. Being in construction ourselves, it wasn't intimidating to us, and we knew what we were getting into, but being a project manager and a construction manager we are also short on time. So when we ended up having to scrape every ceiling and knock down some walls in the house over a weekend we knew we were going to need some drywall and texturizing done that we wouldn't be able to do alone. As I started to call around everyone we knew was busy on other projects, so I took to Yelp which I'm so glad and grateful I did and found Dream Team Construction. Jarrell quickly replied and set up a time to come out the next day to take a look. Both him and Pablo were very knowledgeable, friendly, and I appreciated that they were going to be the ones actually working on the project. Being a project manager I set timelines even for my own home and have high expectations, and I appreciated that Jarrell was very honest about how long they thought the project would take to finish. I liked them so much that I asked them to quote out doing the full interior painting as well along with the drywall and texturizing. Jarrell was very responsive to all of the different colors I wanted in each room and even made sure to clarify with me. They worked non stop, and were always on time. Jarrell stayed in constant communication with me with updates and videos throughout the day. They even were accommodating and worked around some of our family members that were helping out on certain days. (Thank you!). It was awesome to work with guys that I knew were taking care of the home we were creating, and wanted to make sure they did it right. By the end of it it was like working with friends. After the project had been completed, Jarrell even texted me to check on how everything they did was, if there was anything else they could do, and how the rest of our house was going. It was great that they showed up in masks and seemed to have a connection to do everything that I could have wanted done. After the walk through to see which things I wanted to focus on, the quote wasn't far behind. The work they did for me was: Countertop replacement Evening a wall out Removing the existing kitchen ceiling light and replacing it with 3 LED lights Removing the old sink Installing a new sink Installing a new faucet Closing up some holes left by a prior electrician Initially I wanted a wall recess to be expanded, but after we found that it would be impossible to do so since it would basically be cutting into the garage, they had a plan to put up a wall and even it out so I could put my entertainment center in front of it. They had an electrician out quick and moved the outlets to the new wall too. The holes were fairly quick and the first thing that they did since it was in multiple areas of the house. I should also mention that I already hired some other company to do the floors and they worked around them and still got work done! The kitchen lights are SO MUCH better than the old light. I left the lighting choice to them and they picked some really nice ones. The countertop/sink/faucet look incredibly nice. Eventually, I'm probably going to have them come back and do a backsplash for the kitchen. Another important thing to me is that they were able to take a credit card for payment since I wouldn't have been able to do all of this before moving into the house otherwise! It seems like they might be able to handle everything you might have planned, so I'm probably going back to them once I have more to do to the house. read more

This is my third time working with Jarrell, first he textured all the ceilings in my home and some walls I took down that had old paneling on them and painted the entire house inside. Then he laid some carpet in all of our bedrooms, and now he painted the exterior of the home. All I can say is top notch quality from him!
