We found Richard and Xtreme Interiors via Yelp and after obtaining bids from 4 or 5 different companies in town, we decided to go with Xtreme Interiors based on their reviews and very competitive bid. Best choice we could have made. We hired Xtreme to reface our kitchen cabinets (paint existing boxes and add new doors, drawers, and hinges), demo existing and install new backsplash (over 100 square feet), remove a microwave, and install a range hood. Richard was incredibly responsive throughout the remodel and was always available via text or cell to answer our many questions. His team is comprised of true professionals. In addition to doing excellent work, John, Miguel, and Frank were a pleasure to have around. We felt comfortable with them coming and going, even while we were out of the house. We hit a few snags along the way (none of which were Xtreme's fault, such as a leaking fridge, water damaged floor, warping cabinet trim that needed replacing); however, Richard was flexible in adjusting the scope of work and was able to quickly resolve any issue we threw at him. It was nice to have a true general contractor that could handle all aspects of the work (including locating and removing mold, thanks to a fridge leak). I found Richard and Xtreme Interiors when I requested quotes from several contractors to update our master bathroom. Richard was efficient and sensible when it came to pricing. I used Xtreme Interiors again when my house had some unexpected water damage and I didn't like the contractors the insurance company sent. Richard is busy and he deserves to get an assistant, but despite their work load, the team has low turnover and really amazing guys like John and Miguel. They show up PROMPTLY at 7am every morning and keep the dialogue open as they navigate these big projects. Do be aware that Richard and his guys are general contractors. If your project requires electricians, plumbers, or any other specialists, you will likely still have to contract with them yourself. Richard has contacts that are helpful but it's not always a comprehensive list. I would recommend establishing that scope with Richard ahead of time so you can hire subcontractors concurrently. I think the best thing about these guys (other than their amazing work) is that everyone who has stepped into my house is extremely trustworthy and likable. Horrible. Richard, owner, said they could do it all. They couldn't paint an empty room after three attempts. Everyday was a problem as areas were routinely not being addressed. What happens when you try to address the issues? You get called 'anal' by Richard for not accepting 'average' work. Xtreme overspray, Xtreme lack of detail, Xtreme pain in the a##. Richard and his team did an awesome job on our kitchen remodel. We had an outdated kitchen we wanted to remodel since we moved into our home. A wall we wanted to remove to make our living room and kitchen an open concept. Also got new flooring throughout the living room and kitchen. Everyone is friendly. If you don't like something or see something is off and let them know they will fix it right away without hesitation. We had to pick out all our material. He will recommend some places he works with but for the most part you are gathering all the material, which was fine with us since we got to pick out what we wanted exactly. It took about 5 weeks. Very reasonable and we stayed within our budget. I recommend having all the material ready to install before they start your project to speed up the process. All we need is our microwave and floating shelves to complete our kitchen. Definitely will be using Richard and his team again for our other projects in our fixer upper. read more

Half-ass is the nicest word I can use about the work this company does. I hired them to put down new flooring and paint the interior of my house. I don't know if they were too busy or just way over their heads, but the work they did is terrible. After telling me the flooring I wanted was not a good choice, I picked out flooring from where he told me to. I'm guessing he got a kick back, and this is cheap and terrible flooring. They put scratches on it in almost every room and then he has the audacity to tell me I don't know what a scratch is. Until he looks at it and realizes yes it is, but still didn't offer to fix it l. They didn't caulk between the new flooring and the showers or tubs, so water will get under my new flooring. There are gaps between the flooring and cabinets because they didn't caulk or trying, so it now catches all of the dirt and it looks terrible. They barely put one coat of paint on the walls and there are bare spots on every wall and around most fixtures. There are huge bare spots on the trim where they didn't even try. They had to pull out the oven to put down the flooring, but didn't paint the wall down to the floor. They brought a trailer for trash, but then left my trash and recycling cans full of construction debris, so I had to dig dusty, sharp debris out of my tall recycling bin. Also, the cigarette butts and empty energy drink came in back yard, as well as items missing from my garage were a nice touch. He also offered to pay me for a good review, so I'm guessing most of the good ones on here are fake. Don't use them. read more

While he was at the house I enquired about painting the exterior of our house. He made a few estimated thoughts on the size of our house, and a rough quote to the cost. He also directed us to his suppliers to select tile, etc for the job. After a month long fiasco with Home Depot hoping to transform a 40 year old bedroom into a sleek and stylish home office...the HD installer arrived only to tell me that the flooring needed to be corrected as some of the boards had become loose. He told me they weren't licensed to do anything outside of installation and that I would need a contractor to fix to complete the job. HD said they would reach it to their list of contractors and get back to me. I decided to take matters into my own hands and used my trusted YELP to send out an alert for help. Xtreme Interiors called me within minutes and even came by to take a look and give me a quote. Repeat customer! Our second job was full exterior house painting. Richard listened to our concerns and gave us a detailed estimate on the scope of work. We had some delays with the statewide shutdown in March but after entering Phase 1 reopening we felt comfortable starting the job. However, our HOA had approved paint colors and supplier. Richard was able to color match with another supplier because the original supplier was closed. Our house was completely power washed. Richard had a subcontractor repair our stucco (mostly damaged around the window pop outs). The painter talked with me beforehand and let me know what he would be working on and making sure we were happy with the paint colors. I was most impressed with the suggested to paint our garage doors with a semi-gloss. They look fantastic. The entire house looks fresh and clean. The job took about 4 days and we had a plan each day according to the weather. Workers taped up windows and were cautious of the neighbors homes. I was able to make an appointment for an estimate on flooring, entry and fireplace remodel with stone. I was pleased with the entire process and communication with Richard was great! I was looking to remove old carpet and had an outdated entry area with a weird patch of tile. Together we decided on removing the tile so the flow was better. The entry update was just what I had envisioned. I chose flooring from ProSource and was able to take home samples. He recommended luxury vinyl plank as it is extremely durable and waterproof. (Great for kids, pets, and a home with a pool). I purchased the stone at Floor n Decor as suggested by Richard. I was also able to choose what style baseboards I wanted and the crew took care of supplying them. The work was done meticulously by Frank and his crew was prompt, polite, and very clean! After 20 years of living with formica countertops in our little house my wife was ready for granite. We found Xtreme Interiors through a recommendation from a coworker. I must say it was the best recommendation ever. Richard came to our house and took a look and said yes to all of our requests. He said two slabs would cover our kitchen and both bathrooms and we would still have enough for a waterfall edge. We picked out the White Ice granite slabs and new sinks and his men did the rest. John quickly and cleanly demoed the old counters. Rubin and Omar took measurements and cut the slabs, then four days later, masterfully (and I mean masterfully) installed the all the new countertops and sinks in one day.
