Absurdly terrible experience and I strongly smell a scam here from the end of an asbestos project by stuffing me with a surprise $7k fee to my invoice at the very end on my final bill which they claimed was due to no show fees of an absurd $1000 per no show for 7 supposed no shows because their crew could not access one of 4 units in a 4plex I own. One unit was occupied by a non cooperative tenant whom from the beginning would not allow access and I evicted and said we would only get access after eviction lock out by the City. Yet unknown to me they claim they tried to access his apartment 7 (!!!!) times due to the his refusal to allow entry and they wanted me to pay $7k bill at the END of the project. $1000 penalty for a no show is absolutely ABSURD. None of these no show events or fees were EVER communicated to me in advance nor when they happened. The billed me at the END of the project. Keep in mind during this time they were remediating the adjacent 3 units during the purported failure to access so they were always at the property. They made circular excuses saying my contractor authorized it which makes no sense since I paid / hired Mirage directly and David had absolutely no authority. When I confronted my contractor he also ran the run around and said he is not responsible for Mirage's actions (he has worked with them a lot in the past, so suspicious response) I didn't know what to do and believed my contractor when he said it would be reimbursed by insurance so I just went ahead and paid Mirage the fees DIRECTLY by credit card since I didn't have the funds. Of course, I didn't get reimbursed by insurance. And to top it off my insurance didn't reimburse me for another $10k+ because they abated an area of the kitchens for asbestos but didn't provide my insurance company the required proof that the area tested positive (photos etc). So I ended up losing almost $20k because of their shoddy and shady work. Mirage should be ashamed of themselves. Given their relationship with my Contractor (whom I discovered later was committing massive fraud on me on the rebuild part) I strongly suspect due to Mirages relationship with him and the facts above this was some sort of kickback scam by trying to surprise me with these absurd no show fees to see if I would pay. No one should be stuffed with a $7k no show fee bill at the end of a 3 month project without any warning whatsoever. read more

Our condo was seriously flooded. We live on the first floor with neighbors upstairs. I went to Google and accidentally saw the company Construction by Mirage and never regretted it. The team of professionals that was sent immediately did their job quickly and professionally. I want to mention Trina, my account manager and handler of my claim with the adjuster and customer service, who was on the phone with me several times a day. Trina is a pleasant person to talk to, a professional in customer service and always knew what to do and how to help us. Oliver came to check the work of the workers and gave the necessary instructions. Huge thanks to the head of the company Construction by Mirage Craig Hermann, who also came to check the work done by the team and helped complete the renovation of the apartment. I want to recommend this company to anyone who has encountered the same problems in their home. Highly professional team and excellent work in minimal time. Special thank to a plumber Carlos who by his own will went to Home Depot and bought a new water heater paying his own money because the credit card we gave him declined the payment suspecting a fraud. When I contacted them for a quote, they referred me to another contractor for the roofing, Skyline Homes now known as Nevada Exteriors. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Then Construction by Mirage finally came out to look at repairing the interior damage and sent me a contract to sign stating that an estimate will be given ONLY AFTER signing the contract. This company had us living out of our home for a whole year, no exaggeration. Constant miscommunication. No empathy. Constant lies! Constant errors. Clark county was tired of them making mistakes and even recommended me to fire them. It took approximately 4 months or more actually to get a permit submitted and it was wrong. They made us tell our plumber to not submit his own permit for our plumbing because they wanted to take care of all the permits so we don't start from square one. Then at the end 5 months later telling us we had to have our plumber do it. Our plumber got the permit done in TWO DAYS! Our ins company also recommended the same thing to get new contractors since it was a lot of back and forth. Even the person who recommended them to us said they weren't going to recommend anymore people to them. Everyone was shocked we still weren't at home. They took our floors off for no reason and did secondary damage. The assistant Britney told us it would be approved by the ins company. The ins company denied it because THEY didn't submit information stating our floors were damaged due to the water because the pictures showed NO DAMAGE! I personally don't remember seeing any damage. But if there was there was NO need to take off ALL the flooring in the WHOLE rooms. And my stairs which wasn't even near a window. Our roof flew off and water came in damaging our interior on one wall in two of my rooms and living room. The stair case is in between the two rooms no where near the windows and completely away from any type of damage. Long story short the little that my ins company approved us for I was able to get most of my home fixed with the big ole mess construction by mirage left us with. If I woulda stood with them I would still be out of my home! In a month my house is completed with permits switched over to us as home owners! Their profit and overhead they asked for was too high !! And the owner Craig literally told us we are not his priority! I told him we never were and he said since we fired him a month ago. Granted he told us he was going to help us get the floors approved after I fired them since he was aware a lot of the mistakes his assistant Britney made. And a month later I asked the status and that's when he responded that comment. Granted they had been telling us the same response the WHOLE YEAR! I shoulda known it wouldn't be any different sadly. I had to get money borrowed from my uncle and mother in law to pay to fix the problem they created! After we went through a traumatic experience with the natural disaster occurring to our home. Oliver wasn't any help at all either. He was pretty rude at times and just liked yelling to intimidate people. The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER after experiencing a natural disaster to your home. We called Construction By Mirage on Thanksgiving day to repair a leak coming from our kitchen ceiling. The very next morning, Oliver and his team of 6 or 7 people showed up to access the damage, and proceeded to cut 12 more holes in various areas of the ceiling to dry it out. There was a lot of equipment, with blowers and dehumidifiers throughout the house. I was pretty impressed with how quickly they came out to help with our issue, especially on a holiday weekend! After going back and forth with our insurance for a couple months, we decided to finally move forward. (Insurance covered the restoration and replacement of all the drywall, but we decided to replace our 23 year old roof out of our own pocket). There were a lot of moving parts to this project! We had to have our solar panels removed in order to start the roof, and the roof had to be finished before the inside holes could be repaired. The roof got started in February, and then we were delayed by bad weather and Tesla being backed up to get the panels off. Once the panels were removed, the guys kept working on it, even with all Covid-19 stuff going on. They had to charge us a bit more to fix some damage that a prior contractor had done, but their roof price was competitive, if not better than other quotes we received. Our roof came out looking good, and we deiced to replace the whole thing in order to get a 10 year warranty. Once the roof was completed, the drywall guys came in and knocked it out in about 2 1/2 days. These guys were awesome! They smoothed out some of the poor work the other contractor did, and were very efficient. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars, was the frustration over the billing with 2 different companies (Construction by Mirage and Mirage Building and Maintenance, which also went by Mold Eliminators). Once they were on the same page with our insurance company, things moved forward. Jesse was very professional and in constant communication. He stopped by frequently to inspect the work and make sure things were up to their standards. This project was complicated, and took along time to complete, but I never felt worried that it wouldn't be finished properly. I think Construction By Mirage is a great company to go with. read more

These guys are awesome! Quick, honest, true and reliable! We are in the process of selling the house. I called them this morning to inquire about an old leak in my roof which ultimately created a hole in my master bedroom ceiling. They were here to give me a quote within 2 hours of my call. These guys came in, one looked at the bedroom while one was on the roof. The leak was dry and they didn't find anything on the roof. Instead of charging me an astronomical amount to "fix my roof" they told me that there were no leaks on the roof and to call a handyman to fix the ceiling and wall where there was once water. I contacted Construction by Mirage for what I considered a major remodel to my newly purchased home. Two areas that needed work were a demolition of a faulty fireplace in the Master Bedroom and remodel of the 2nd floor bathroom. I was so impressed as they made the demolition look easy even though it was from the floor to ceiling including part of the outer wall of my house. I saw no evidence of dust and dirt in the room as they hung plastic from the ceiling so as to prevent a mess. The wiring and gas lines in the area were sealed off well and the new wall and ceiling were patched perfectly. The stucco finish on the outer and inner wall was well matched. The bathroom remodel was done perfectly as well with the new sink and cabinet attaching seamlessly to the new full-length linen cabinet. All the walls on both projects were painted to match the existing. Additional smaller projects throughout the house were done just as impeccably. The house also needed exterior wood trim replacement and paint. All work was done well. The workmen and office staff are all very professional. I highly recommend Construction by Mirage. read more

I had a pretty serious problem with leakage around the windows on the front of my house facing southwest. I called Construction by Mirage to give me an analysis and they came to perform a thermal test that indicated there were some problems with water coming in above the windows near the roofline and was seeping down and damaging my walls on the inside. They removed all the drywall, treated the areas, and replaced the damage. They then had to remove the outside stucco that was not sealed properly and replaced it with new wood, membranes wire and stucco. They were clean, fast, timely and efficient. I highly recommend them for repairs. I even had them paint the entire outside of my house which now looks great. It was great to see a crew of workers get along so well as a team. After a thorough discussion we determined this was going to be an Insurance Claim. Diane was extremely helpful dealing with my insurance company. Oliver was the lead technician who diagnosed the water damage issue and completed a comprehensive report regarding the scope of the damage and work necessary to file an insurance claim. Chose this company due to the 5 Star reviews, and got excited when I received a call from Jesse to let me know he was on the way to my property. But it has all been downhill from there. He came out on Friday morning at 8:30 AM to inspect the roof and told me he may not have the estimate ready that day and they are off on the weekends. So that being said I was expecting the estimate by end of business day on Monday. I did not hear from anybody all day on Monday, so Tuesday morning I sent a text inquiring about the estimate and get the response that things were a little crazy but he should have it done in the next day or two. Tuesday came and went and so did Wednesday, so today (Thursday) I reached out again asking about the estimate. Four days to receive an estimate for a roof repair? This is not customer service to me. I get back to all my clients the same day or within a 24 hour period at the latest. And here I am chasing them down for a response. Not happy!!! read more

This is definitely the best construction company I have ever worked with. We had an unfortunate incident happen with our home and after multiple failed attempts finding a contractor that would work on anything other than commercial properties I came across construction by mirage. My first phone call was so comforting and everyone seemed willing to help. My contractors name is Jesse and he has without a doubt gone above and beyond for my husband and I. We have worked with other contractors in my past and my number one pet peeve is lack of communication. From the beginning Jesse has included me in every step of the way and returns my calls within minutes. I always have a million questions and he explains it to me in ways that I understand therefore feel comfortable with the process. The insurance company has not been the easiest to work worth but Jesse has always been able to come up with a resolution for the curve balls we've been thrown. Our house was under contract and the buyers inspector discovered a significant moisture issue in one of our bedrooms adjacent to the bathroom and downstairs in the garage where the furnace and hot water heater are. My realtor recommended Construction by Mirage (Craig and crew). It was going to be a lot of work. Our house was in escrow therefore we had to act fast since it was a cash offer and closing date was within two weeks. I had already moved out of state so needed a competent contractor with mold/water remediation experience. Craig didn't waste any time getting over to my property and giving me an assessment and estimate. He did this all over the phone with me. I felt right away that he was trustworthy and honest.
