I had Treidgen Industries renovate my 400+ sf patio. The patio had a split personality. Half was painted concrete that was peeling away. The other half was epoxy with a colored flakes combination which could no longer be matched. So, I contacted Ben who offered options to beautify an ugly patio. We decided to go with stripping the painted section and grind out the existing epoxy section and re-epoxy the entire patio. It was a bigger job than I expected. Ben and his crew: Gabe, Julio, and Bryce work tirelessly for several days to complete the job and finished on schedule. We had excellent communication with the crew and the entire work area was cleaned up at the end of each day: windows, doors, screens, yard, etc! My wife and I are delighted with the results. I needed all of my my backyard surfaces refinished. I called Triedgen and owner Ben showed up, told me what his "team" could do and that my backyard would require about 5 men for a period of 5 days. He gave me an acceptable bid and we set out to complete the work. On the day the work began, one man shows up to work. One man worked on the yard for a week and I called Ben to ask why there was only one guy and he said that all we would need. After 2 weeks he sent me a notice that the work was complete and that I was to pay him. I told him they had not completed the work, that he did not do my entire yard, but had only done "patches" where he thought it would be necessary. My yard looked awful, inconsistent, like patch work, as if I had taken the cheap way out. Not good on any level. I told him my bid and our understanding were that the entire yard was to be done and that what he did was unacceptable. He said he was done, and to pay him and he threatened me. I told him to please finish the job and I will pay the final half. A week later he called me to come by and look at the yard with him. He showed up for our mid-day appointment late, and drunk as a skunk. He told me the work looked fine and that he was done. He threatened that if I did not pay him he would take me to collections and file a lien on my house. I told him to leave my property. I knew at that point that this is how this guy works. Instead of trying to do a good days work, he does work on the cheap and then uses bad business practices to cover his inabilities. We still have not resolved the situation. He has not called me, he has never returned, but he did file a Collections against me which is as unprofessional as it gets. Don't let this company near your house. I needed to get my HOA off my back about my driveway (note to HOA: you suck). After a few attempts to DIY, I gave up and accepted that I needed to call in a pro. I submitted a search on Thumbtack. I selected Treigden based on the clear proposal, reasonable price, and strong reviews both on Yelp and Thumbtack. Ben was very prompt and helpful. I asked if I needed to be home and was advised that I could call the office to arrange payment in advance, which I did. We decided to have our pavers resealed since they were extremely bleached out from the sun and also had some stains. After researching different companies, we decided to use Treidgen Industries. I wish I could give more than five stars. This was the most wonderful experience I have ever had doing any construction work on my home. I would like to say that they are the "four seasons and the Ritz Carlton" of contractors. From the moment you call this company you can tell they're different in the way they handle their customers. Exceptional service on the phone from the very beginning and then when they sent out the estimator, John, he was extremely helpful in helping me select what would look the best for my home. This was something I was replacing as far as pavers in the front sidewalk of my house where trees have lifted the existing concrete. My landscaping contractor recommended I go with pavers. I researched online and found that this company has very good reviews. I went with that. John came out and gave me an excellent estimate and we discussed some other areas that may be of concern for the future. He was pleasant, friendly and absolutely no upsell from this company. I can't tell you how relieved I was when he left and I felt like this is definitely the company I want to do my concrete repair. This company was the first company to give me a bid and I actually had two more that I was going to call and come out but after talking with John I change my mind and decided to only go with this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH!! They have ruined our custom wood front doors by taking off the stain with the pressure washer and took the paint right off of our rod iron railings which will now need to be repainted. The 12 foot wood doors will now have to be completely re-stained on the outside. To make matters worse they gave me a approx 6ft x 6ft sample of their sealant on some of my pavers. When I expressed I did not want sealant they informed me they had tried stripping it 3x's and they could not remove the sealant. Now some of my pavers have sealer and others do not. We have obtained a bid to retain the front door and to repaint the railings. We asked him to strip the sealant off of the pavers he applied. HE WILL NOT DO THIS. He instructed us to PAY him first and then he would make an attempt. I obtained bids for repairs and deducted the costs from my final payment I mailed. Treidgen is unwilling to remove the sealant or allow me to pay someone to do it. We are at an impasse on finding a resolution. HE IS FILING A MECHANIC'S LIEN ON MY HOME. I have never in my life ( I am 53 years old) had an issue with a vendor. To give you some background of how it started..... We called Treidgen out in August to request to strip off our old sealer, clean pavers and resend in our driveway and backyard. They had good yelp reviews and were through in quickly giving us what appeared to be a professional quote by John. We scheduled the work to begin in mid-september. When they started the job I had requested they start no earlier than 10:30am. they sent two men who worked for at least 6 hours each day for 2 days. After those first initial 2 days they only showed up to work on the job around 4pm and worked until it was dark at 7pm. Unfortunately this job dragged out. When they re-sanded instead of having a truckload of sand brought in they were carrying in bags 1-2 at a time. I had to inform them half-way thru that they were not putting in enough sand. We argued a bit about this issue and to be honest at the end of the day I gave up on the re-sanding being to my liking. We had to pay 50% up front. Mind you this is not a small job. The total quote came to $6800.00. I paid him $3400.00 before he even started in good faith, per his quote. I could go on and on with the quality of workmanship. While I will say Gabe was very polite (his worker) other than Gabe this has been a horrible experience. I very rarely leave reviews but felt others should be warned. read more

We did significant due diligence in searching for a landscape contractor could deliver the design we had in mind for our backyard project. We decided to go with Treidgen Industries based on the budget we had to work with and the ideas Ben and Ryan provided us that convinced us that our vision could become a reality and come in within budget. The management team did not B.S. us and committed to get the job done promptly if we decided to move forward with them. The commitment was a 3 - 4 day project completion timeline. This included yard prep, complete irrigation, plant and hardscape installation. Ben was flexible in working with us on a start date. We had to coordinate this work with pool construction and he was very accommodating. The work was scheduled to begin on a Monday morning and the crew showed up! I find this be a rare event to find a contractor that shows up when they say they will. The crew worked diligently for 4 days to complete the work on time as promised. The lead, Jessie was great. I gave them the approximate square footage our builder had used for the installation of them and was given a very fair quote. They came out the following day and I gave them a 50% deposit. Rain had been forecasted but they felt they could get the job done in time, and they did, but the rain came 12 hours later. Although it has been just a little over a year I feel my pavers have never had the 'wet look' I was assured I would attain. I am not sure if enough of the product was used or if it was the rain. The guys were nice and did a good job but the results did not last for my satisfaction. I received a letter from my HOA, so I went ahead and called Ben. I can't say enough good things about this company and the service they offer. They were able to take my payment over the phone, so I would not have to miss work to meet them, which was a HUGE help. When I got home, the driveway looked great. After Ben's initial cleaning, I did have a followup problem with my HOA, and I had thought it was because Ben missed a spot or something. I gave Ben a call and within a few hours he was at my house checking out the problem. The problem was NOT oil/drit, but it was a problem with the actual cement (the previous owner did something dumb). This should not have been Ben's concern at all, but he still came back the following day to see if he can treat it with bleach to help me out. I had sealed my 3 car driveway and front porch with a major manufacturers product which left my pavers in such poor condition (white, discolored, etc) that the dealer/manufacture gave me a full refund. So disappointed in the quality of workmanship. Salesman presentation was professional and impressive compared to other companies we called out. The work by their crew was another story. Had to remove old concrete and sand off the old coating around pool, made a horrible white mess all over everything even into neighboring homes, would never recommend this be done. The back yard should have been removed of every piece of furniture, which we were not informed to do. Breaking up the concrete was quicker and cleaner than the sanding removal around the pool. There were gouges made from the sander we think on two of our pool tiles(see pic) Then the pavers installed were done in a sloppy manner leaving a one inch gap running down the length of the edge where pavers should have met the pool graniflex coating (see pic) My husband had to ask for sand so he could fill it himself so no one gets a heel caught in there. There were a a couple large paver pieces that had a dime size hole right in the middle, one of which was later removed and replaced by the workers when the owner came over at the end and we had to show him. The other paver we didn't notice until after we paid in full so it still remains. The graniflex also very sloppy work. There are gouge marks, and some areas are dull and are noticeably dull compared to other areas. The finishing around the inside edge of the pool looks like someone with no experience put it on. We didn't see it until after we paid in full so it remains. The owner agreed with my husband that the problems we initially saw should not have been there but explained he'd have to sand it all off again and redo it but we would have to go through the white dust again all over everything. He then reduced our bill by a minimal amount compared to what we felt was a poor job all around. We went with this company because of yelp reviews even though they were more expensive than the other companies we interviewed but realize now we made a huge mistake. read more
