This company arrived in a U-HAUL truck not a company truck. We contracted 3 men but only 2 men showed up to work. The truck was way too small to load all of the furniture and now they are refusing to return to pick up the additional items. They have been paid the contracted amount but we are complete unsatisfied and we will report them to the BBB. BEWARE! Horrible customer service and completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE! I beg the differ about a great reputation. People please read their reviews. I'm glad you can sleep at night believing that reimbursing my parents $218.69, the same amount it cost them to rent a U-Haul and move all of the remaining items themselves because your company failed to do the job correct. Sir be honest charging $900 to move from Oxford to Burlington is absurd especially using a UHaul truck not a company truck. You know that your company took advantage of their naiveness. I just hope people are reading your reviews before they ever decide to book with your company. People beware!

We rented a UHaul and planned to have friends help us move on Saturday 1/7, but due to the forecast…read moreof snow, we didn't want to risk waiting. So, we picked up the UHaul on 1/6 and started packing, but since it was just my husband, son and myself, we couldn't lift the "heavy" items, especially since my husband broke his hand, which was in cast. I called several different companies to see if they had a couple of guys that could help (last minute). We were unsuccessful, in fact, one company price gouged so much that we could have moved cross country! Then, I came across Redi-Care Movers. The receptionist said that she would need to call me back and was going to work on getting help for us. After a couple of calls back and forth, we were able to get 2 guys to come at 1:30pm (this was all confirmed at about 12:15). Then, Desi and Mike showed up. They were professional, friendly and got the job done efficiently. They moved the items so quickly, we couldn't keep up! On one of the worst days of my life, they were able to make me laugh! I cannot tell you how thankful I am for them, they saved us! In addition, while talking to the receptionist and another young lady - everyone, was so kind and friendly and wanted to help us. Honestly, I had low expectations since this was last minute and we were desperate. Our experience was just the opposite! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We will certainly use them in the future!

I received estimates from Chapel Hill Moving Company for packing in two stages. The packers arrived on time and were polite and friendly. They were at my home for three hours. The final charge for the initial packing (including materials) was extremely high. When I spoke with Ethan, the owner of the company, he was condescending and rude to me. It became evident to me that while the company provides estimates, the actual charges at the end of the job are at or beyond the high end. Interestingly, there are other reviews that also mention the high cost of Chapel Hill Moving Company. I will be using a different company for the second packing stage and for moving, while hoping that the packing was done professionally and carefully. I recommend that others use a different packing and moving company that is reliable, professional, and (as importantly) cost-effective. Moving is too expensive to overpay when the company knows it can get away with it.

I was promised a repair but the company has ignored my repeated emails and calls to get that arranged. To start off, one of the movers made inappropriate remarks to me, starting with "I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday" as he inquired as to my relationship status within TEN minutes (cannot make this stuff up). The driver then got their moving van STUCK in my driveway for more than 3 hours. They arranged a tow truck to free the van and they allowed my stuff to be towed to an unknown tow yard. Abdo was unable to get the truck that day, so my items say somewhere overnight in a tow yard. They promised me a refund of 200.00 for an inconvenience fee. Instead, they had the NERVE to charge an additional 459.00 for the day they unloaded. My favorite part: They attempted to charge my credit card more than 20 times for their additional charges! They kept trying different amounts to get every possible dime out of my account: 25.00, 50.00, 20.00, 100.00....they were successful at maxing out my card. If I could share a screenshot I would! Per the moving contract, they will erase the credit card info on file per request. So, of course, I did request that once I realized what they were doing. Lo and behold, they have still tried charging my card TODAY. I have now had to freeze the card and request a new one. Do NOT use this company. In the moving contract, they specifically state they can basically use your credit card anytime for fees they believe you might owe. They just sent me another invoice this morning.
