    Our experience thus far with Safe & Sound Moving Company has added up to a ton of stress. RECAP THUS FAR: THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY & YOUR TIME & WRECK YOUR ITEMS! After several hard days of moving we were met with the despicable truth that one of their employees had committed FRAUD, stealing not only our credit card but checks as well. The person who stole it was idiotic enough to immediately head over to Walmart and charge over $1,000 dollars in products and then rent a RedBox DVD. This is so despicable words cannot describe, if you pay for "safe & sound DON'T MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, TIME & SANITY. Don't believe their promises. When originally booking with them we talked to a man who was responsive and helpful. We asked allot of questions due to our moving being pretty last minute and he answered them all well and when we explained the time constraint we were told it was no problem and they could get it done and if for some reason they hadn't finished packing by the end of the business day the supervisor would just pay overtime and get it done that day. Well the day rolls around and the movers show up, no masks, no uniforms and the majority of them seemed like this was just a side job throwing some things, dancing and singing to their music, continually joking around. But even though some of those workers obviously need training it's more the company as a whole that we're incredibly unhappy with. THEY DIDN'T BRING ENOUGH BOXES....TWICE! & left well before 5PM, hours before b/c they didn't have supplies to continue packing & they didn't want to come back. They promised they would bring enough the next day, get there early, bring more workers & that they would be done by the morning and able to move our things into a POD before the facility closed. The supervisor promised that he would come and help too if it was looking like time would be an issue. We stated multiple times to both the workers and their supervisors that we only had those days and then we were closing, so we asked them to contact their supervisor to let him know we needed help. Now if the supervisor is to be believed they didn't call when we asked them to, when we kept mentioning it (hours later) which at that point the supervisor said he would come to supervise the unloading now but not help with the moving.... We busted our butts to get everything and all the stuff out to the curb and then the movers started laughing....allot...they called me over and laughingly told me that I now had to choose what to take and they were going to start moving our things BACK in the house! THEY HADNT BROUGHT A BIG ENOUGH TRUCK EITHER. SO not enough boxes (twice) and not a big enough truck. This is the point where I started desperately trying to contact the management. They wouldn't answer the phone for any of us including the worker. Quite a bit later they text to say they'd already come up with a plan with my husband and they would continue the NEXT DAY! He actually hadn't yet talked to my husband so my husband called him again and finally reached him. When I got on the line and reminded them of their promises they tried to claim they hadn't made them but text messages are records of your claims and we have those. Eventually they said ok we did say those things, however they obviously don't want to come through on delivering those promises! I requested a supervisor attend the next day to make sure things go well since schedule-wise we couldn't afford another day of this crap. They ruined multiple items of ours already including a bespoke picture frame my grandfathers had crafted art frame, multiple art pieces, the frame of our door, scratches all over our walls and as an example they were sticking pieces of tape to grab ONTO OUR WOODEN DRESSER. When they yanked the strips off they were yanking the paint with it! Well at the end of that day (11/17) the supervisor tried to back out again on not showing up today (11/18). We explained that was unacceptable under the circumstances and they agreed unhappily to attend again on (11/18). Well on the way to them this morning (11/18) we got a text saying the supervisor was backing out again!!!! He didn't even offer a replacement. What made it an even more bitter pill to swallow is that yesterday movers from another moving company came and we're moving things into a house up the street. They had uniforms, wore masks (Safe & Sound movers don't wear PPE), those movers from Trosa wore gloves, brought plenty of people and they were being so incredibly careful of those people's things so we could quite literally see the difference in customer care. Update: things stolen and a giant quantity of our things wrecked. we're done unpacking. Random bottles (unsecured) w/liquids has ruined my clothes.

    Wow. Where do I begin? I found this moving company on Yelp. Most of the reviews were positive, but there was one review that was extremely critical (and I think legitimately so) and it made me nervous. We were moving a long distance -- from Raleigh to a suburb of Philly. I wondered whether it made sense to hire a local moving company as opposed to a more established national moving company (like Two Men and a Truck). The quote I received from Safe and Sound was consistent with others we got, and Hadi was extremely responsive -- so we decided to move forward. Plus, I know those big name companies typically lack in customer service. Hadi sold me on his responsiveness to be honest! In the end, I had nothing to worry about. Our movers arrived to our Raleigh home on time. And then they arrived the next morning to our new home in Pennsylvania. The movers worked extremely hard, and were able to get everything done within two hours at each location. We are so grateful for their hard work and their timeliness and their respect for our belongings. I highly recommend them! And thank you Safe and Sound for moving us this weekend! We are so grateful to you.

She was so professional and informative, and I was really impressed when she told me that the company employs their movers full-time, and that many of the movers have worked for the company for years. The company is easy to get ahold of when you have questions, and everyone there is communicative and helpful. Sapphira was so helpful in coordinating logistics and answering complicated questions, and was so gracious and flexible when I had to change my move date. We also did a virtual walk-through the day before my move, so that she could be sure the team was fully ready for everything the following day. My movers were Travis and Wilson. Wow -- what a team!!! They were so professional, so courteous, and very experienced. It was clear that they really knew what they were doing, and that they were invested in the success of my move and in making sure I was happy with everything. They worked so hard and went above and beyond in multiple ways to help, and to make sure that everything was done correctly and to my specifications during both the move out and the move in. They were thoughtful and careful in how they approached everything. Because of their hard work, hustle, care, and expertise, what could have been a stressful couple of days was smooth and easy! And it was such a pleasant experience to work with a team who were not only so experienced and efficient, but also really nice guys. This is the best moving company I've ever worked with, hands-down. The reviews look real, they're well-rated and really close to home so I give them a call. Charlie at the office takes in all my information including details about each location and a basic inventory of key pieces of furniture in addition to packed boxes. They check in a couple of days beforehand and we are good to go! Day of the move, Malik, Hunter and Tyrell show up in a fairly large truck. They help me break down some furniture (bed frames) and try to leave as much intact for the move. For my 2 bedroom apartment it takes maybe 2 1/2 hours to bring it all down. Unfortunately I live on the 3rd floor which slows things down. On the destination side it takes a little over an hour to unload which includes re-assembling stuff. Didn't find many/any dings on the walls or furniture, they wrap the edges for safety. I tip the team and say a huge thank you for this big step forward in my move. Overall I was very happy with their service, it was a little under $900 for the 5 mile move but heck, I sure couldn't have done it on my own. While I was concerned about some of the negative reviews I saw online, my experience was top-notch for the move!

These three guys were so efficient, organized, strong, and nice. We had an antique grandfather clock that we removed the chimes and pendulum from.
