This place is a winner. I was skeptical of Indian food as nachos, tacos and burritos but they pull it off with flying colors.

Sooooo there was a lot of effort put into getting these tacos and burritos in my belly. I am visiting from out of town and I just had to get these flavors in my mouth. So I ordered takeout (3 burritos for my sister and I to try and split) on a Saturday and Grubhub "tried to deliver them" to us, but they never made it to us. I called grubhub and it was too late to get my food to me so I had to drive to a restaurant and wait another 30+ minutes for takeout. Well since I'm from a small town that doesn't have grubhub, and I still wanted this food in my belly, I used the voucher given to me from grubhub to get takeout a few days later. Mind you, I would have been fine to grab the food myself but since I had the voucher I had to go through them. I order a SECOND time 2 days later, made sure I was specific and had all the contact info. The order originally said 30-40 min and then it got extended to an hour from when I ordered it. So I called Roxie's and they gave me the drivers number. The driver straight up lied to me and said he tried to call me but never did. Sooo I called grubhub and just wanted my food but they couldn't make that happen so I asked for a refund and not vouchers since I never plan to use the service again (and if I do I'll make sure to have food in the fridge as back up). I called Roxie's again and they were so distraught about the mix up, they offered to remake my order at no cost. My sister picked it up and let me tell you it was worth the wait! Delicious flavors, excellent customer service. I'm so happy! They even wrote a cute note to me saying "sorry about G hub, Dani". My sister said they were so nice and really wanted to help me try that food! Yum!!! Thanks again dudes, you're the best! read more

I've been eating at this place since it opened a couple years ago.. it's my favorite restaurant on the hill and a contender for favorite in all of boulder. but lemme say that every single time i go in the portions keep getting smaller! they increased the prices for everything like a year ago which was a bummer but the food is too good for an extra dollar to stop me from coming in. However, today i was getting a snack (1 taco usually does it for me), but my taco wasn't even half filled, so i had to get another to fill me up (compare my photo of my taco to all other photos on yelp) and on top of that i wasn't even allowed to use the same dish i had just been served in? lady had to get a whole new one for some "health code" thing that just doesn't make sense cause it was completely clear of any food. just a waste of resources if you ask me.. anyways, their chana masala feels like a warm hug from my mom and it's just the best. put it on a taco and you've got pure magic. the tamarind and cilantro chutneys are absolutely amazing. i'm definitely going to keep coming here but i wish they could figure out the right portions to serve for a taco that costs more than $5 after tip... read more

We visited Boulder, CO last weekend, and our daughter recommended this place before even we left home. It's a small place with two picnic tables inside (couple tables outside too), very casual/take out type setup. The two young fellas behind the counter were SUPER nice, very polite, and friendly. As for the food, it was absolutely AWESOME! Out Daughter ordered for herself three tacos (one each with chhole, saag, and the chicken), my wife and I followed her lead. They serve two (soft) tacos in each dish with free condiments (you have gotta taste the mint chutney). The chicken was out-of-the world, and so was the saag. The chhole was bit sweet to my taste (contrary to typical Punjabi dhaba style), but our daughter loved it. My wife got the Hibiscus tea, which, again was way too sweet to my taste. But overall the food was awesome! If you are looking for a formal sit-down type place, this is not for you. However, for a quick bite, or, takeout at a very reasonable price, please go to this place. They even offer you free samples before you order. I easily rate them 5/5, and wish they had joints in Philadelphia, PA areas as well. read more

I was a bit skeptical but the burritos here are great. Very flavorful and full of different textures, with just the right amount of spice. Not a lot of seating, it's kind of an awkward set up since the benches are right in front of the register where everyone stands to order. Went in for a late lunch while on the hill. Amazingly delicious tacos!! You could tell the corn tortillas were fresh - sooooo yummy! Got the chana masala with cilantro and cucumber yogurt chutney and the special vegan black bean green chili. Both equally tasty. Will be back! read more

Wonderful fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisines. Small menu makes it easy to choose what you want, and it's all delicious. My hubby had two tacos - saag paneer and red chicken (shredded chicken sauteed in coconut milk and garam masala). I had a rice bowl with the red chicken. They offer 4 traditional chutneys, and even chips and a sparky salsa. Friendly staff, and all items under $10. Very filling. Give them a try! read more

Wow! This place is phenomenal. It's rather unique as well. It's Indian flavors mixed with a bit of Mexican. Roxie originally started this as a food tent at festivals around Boulder. She has now turned it into a delicious, quick eat stop near campus. I ordered the burrito with dada's chicken and the green Chile sriracha chutney. The burrito comes grilled/panini pressed and it is the perfect size. We also got nachos with dada's chicken and the cilantro chutney. The chips are crunchy and work well with the meat and sauces. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a must try if you're in Boulder. read more

Amazing Indian inspired tacos. Typically, Mexican food and Indian food are just ok to me. The flavors aren't too complex and the quality and freshness tend to be lower. However, the way Roxie combines the two and tops it off extremely fresh, potent ingredients and herbs makes her tacos and burritos irresistible. Some of the best chutneys I've ever had as well to load up those tacos. read more
