Upon entering the facility, it was very clean and the staff was at the utmost professional. I did not wait long and the lady who assisted Dr. Larrabee was very professional, extremely polite and kind. I have been working in the medical field for over 40 years, and I recognize those who are professional and care a lot for the patient. Dr. Larrabee came into the room, assessed my situation and talked to me calmly about what he was going to do. After I was numbed up, Dr. Larrabee felt around my mouth to see if I felt any pain. Upon extracting the spur on the right side, I did wince a bit. Dr. Larrabee immediately stopped and numbed me up again. He then proceeded to touch around that particular area to make sure I had absolutely no pain. Both the spur and the tooth took less than approximately 20 minutes to extract. I just want to thank Dr. Larrabee and his assistant (who's name I cannot remember at this time). If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I would refer this office to anyone including my family. The tooth split because I didn't have a crown put on it ‍. Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about having this done because of an very rough extraction I had done in the past. This experience with Dr. Eckhart was nothing like my past experience. He explained the procedure clearly and showed me exactly what was about to happen. Because he shared with me the "what" and "why" about the procedure it really set me at ease. I had a tough case because of the root canal done years ago. He was in and out in about 25 minutes and I didn't feel a thing! I felt a little pressure but no where near uncomfortable. He also put in an implant, which took about 2 minutes, so I will be able to chew on that side of my mouth. All of this happened yesterday and I am pain free today! The extraction I had in the past from a different doc I couldn't eat for a week. I can't believe how good my mouth feels. All because Dr. Eckhart cares about what he does and the patients he works on. Repeat business is the best review any customer could give, I won't go anywhere else!!

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Stender and his staff. I chose this practice because it…read morewas the only one of 2 in the area that accepted my health insurance. It's about 25 miles away but worth it to be covered for oral surgery. When I went to Dr Stender's office for the initial consultation the staff was very nice. During the consult, the doctor and his assistant were cheerful. I felt like I was with friends. Dr explained the procedure in detail but in layman's terms. His receptionist told me the approximate copay which was within a few dollars of the actual amount. I left confident that what seemed like a major thing- crown lengthening (bone shaving), was a minor operation. It turned out to be routine and minor oral surgery. In fact, I drove myself to and from the office on the day of the surgery. Dr Stender skillfully applied local anesthesia. It didn't hurt when he inserted any of the needles nor when he did the surgery. I was only there for about 45 minutes from parking my car to heading back home. I had no pain afterwards and I did apply a cold pack for the first couple of hours per instructions. I never took any pain meds and returned a week later to have stitches removed. I had no discomfort or complications. I highly recommend Dr Stender and his associates. He always used my preferred nickname which is more than I can say for some of my co-workers :-) if you're looking for excellent service from competent and personable professionals look no further.
