Was looking for a new dentist since I moved back to the York area. Was recommended by a friend and they were also took my insurance which was a plus. I filled out the inquiry form online. They promptly called me back within a day sent me the forms via email. I was able to complete and submit them the same way. When I arrived today for my appointment, I was promptly greeted at the front desk. They had everything they needed. Hygienist came out within 10 minutes and took me back. Dr. Bommu did her exam, asked and answered questions. She was very personable. They have a small off street parking lot behind the building off Mt Zion Road. It was a great experience for the first time in a new dentist and I would recommend giving them a try. read more

Dr. Anusha Bommu is a fabulous dentist. Her dental hygiene staff are great. The front office is a disaster. I'm a retired Army Colonel and therefore have TRICARE as my primary insurance. I work for the defense industry and buy supplemental policies to keep bills to a minimum. Throughout the three years we've gone to Yorkshire Dental its "discovery learning" when it comes to billing. IT seems there's never a problem until we come in for an appointment. At first, there's a mix up between assigning our primary and supplemental insurance (which they had the nerve to blame on my wife). Then my spouse wasn't covered by any policies at all and we received bills (since rectified). Then there's mix ups in submitting insurance claims. Then they couldn't properly submit claims in a timely manner. The law says claims must be submitted in a timely and reasonable manner. I now have an outstanding bill for $1700 from May of 2024. They are working through it and have three options in my opinion: 1. Fix it with the insurance company (who normally set 90 days to one year to submit a claim), 2. Write if off due to their own inefficiency, or 3. send me the bill have force me to take them to small claims court (where a lawyer would cost them more than what I owe with a judge possibly seeing them not being "timely and reasonable". Either way, enough is enough. We've cancelled out appointments and will find a new dentist. It's a shame that an inefficient front office staff cost Dr. Bommu a customer who loved her work. read more

I will admit, when it comes to dentists, I'm a chicken. When it comes to extractions, I'm even worse. I followed my intuition and made an appointment to have a total extraction with permanent dentures following it. I was scared to death, but this team of professionals, put me completely at ease. I will say, I'm glad it's behind me, but they made the experience so much better. I know there are poor reviews from the past, but this is a new dentist, and new staff and management. You couldn't ask for a nicer team and experience! read more

I would give zero stars if it were possible. I have called multiple times, finally got someone to send me a link to a new patient form, sent it back, and TWICE sent them my child's dental X-rays at which they deny getting them. I don't know, check your spam folder or maybe NOT HAVE GMAIL AS YOUR BUSINESS'S EMAIL ACCOUNT?! The only time I got a response was the first phone call and when I requested an appt through their website. I told them I had tried calling multiple times (voicemail during business hours) and emailed with the email I received from them over the phone (even replying to the email --it matched the email she gave me on the phone--they sent in response to using the contact form on their website and STILL got no response)--all to no avail. This has been months of trying; I'm done. I'm not sure if it's just their office manager or their practice as a whole, but I'm taking this as a sign that we should not be going here. Too bad, we're a family of seven looking to move to a practice closer to home, but now we'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I would not recommend this dental practice. The quality of care was the worst experience that I have ever had in dental care. I had several costly procedures done including a bridge, root canal and a partial that all had multiple complications. The bridge failed after a year and the partial never fit properly. I had to wait 5 months to receive my partial because the dental office let the dental mold sit on their shelf for a month before they sent it to the lab. When I received it I had extreme pain and pressure points. They were never properly corrected. In total I have spent over 5000.00 for poor quality dental service. read more

Just received a letter for discharge. I have never heard of been discharged from dentist because you can not afford to come out of pocket for dental work. I explained this to the office (Donna) the office manager and received this letter a few days later. I am still working with my insurance to get this service's approved. They don't want to work with my insurance they took my money didn't finish work and then discharged me. Worried more about money then the patient care. Asked if they had self pay discount , Donna told me that the insurance is already at a discount rate. Never offered payment plans, just pay $500 at time of service or leave our office. In the letter the denist states there is still work needs completed but will need to find another provider. Don't recommend, now have to find a dentist that wants to finish the work Dr. Anusha Bommu started. read more

Looking for a new dentist, read the reviews for Dr. Goodis. All were great. Office isn't actually on the address road, isn't easily accessed. Parking is HORRIBLE! Small lot, no one could direct me what to do if it was full. "Park there, I guess?" Pointing to the lot across the street which belongs to another dentist and has signage indicating so. The reception room is dated, as is all the equipment. Circa 1970's. The only x ray reader was in my room, so the staff was busy going in and out during my exam. The hygienist was very peasant, thorough and gentle. NO ONE TOLD ME DR. GOODIS WAS RETIRING THAT DAY. HE WAS THE REASON I WAS GOING HERE. Instead I got a DR that I think was capable enough, who knows - saw him for 3 minutes. Asked him a question abt a concern I had but didn't offer any suggestions as how to handle. My fault, I should have asked. But you'd think he'd have offered. He did not check my tongue as part of the health check which I also forgot to ask him to do. I thought this was part of the exam. Has always been in the past. Now I have to go back and see to a problem I found. While I will go back this once, I may drop them. Not telling me the DR was retiring was unacceptable. I even mentioned the DR was the reason I chose them. read more

I had to go in for an extraction. I was terrified because Dr. Goodis retired, so I was getting a new dentist there. I saw Dr. Patel. She was wonderful. She really listened to me and the entire staff were very kind and listened to me. Dr. Patel was just as good as Dr. Goodis. The tooth extraction wasn't as scary or bad as I thought it would be. It went fine. And they showed me on the xray how the filling had been right at the nerve that was going up to my eye and that's why I was in so much pain with the tooth. I really liked how they will show you everything, you can review your xrays. The service was great. And the price was extremely reasonable. They do take alot of insurance. Unfortunately, due to Obamacare budget cuts, my insurance wouldn't pay for extractions or anything. But the price was so reasonable, I was able to afford to pay for the extraction. I was very happy with the service and visit and would go back again. read more

Horrible place. The first time I went here, I thought it was just the dental hygienist and the dentist having a bad day. I went here again today for my second cleaning, and it was just as bad if not worse than the first time. I know they really have to clean your teeth but to the point of me bleeding the entire appointment is a bit uncalled for. The hygienist kept at the gums at my bottom teeth and they hurt really bad. When I finally got over the pain, the dentist came in. He made it even worse. With that pointy thing that they have, he kept picking between my bottom teeth. And guess what, no cavity! It was so red all around them after the appointment and even now, almost 12 hours later, is still red. There is even a little dot like area in between two of my teeth from the pointy thing still. It hurts so bad that I have to keep taking pain reliever. I will be looking for another dentist and will not go back here again! read more
