This includes 2 cleanings and fluoride treatments, 1 x-ray a year, and some type of special x-ray at 3 years. Child plans are also available. So far this has been a good place to go. I think they may have given me TMJ though, so just watch how long your mouth stays open.

I have a history with them and I've never required any major dental work . I traveled there recently for my scheduled cleaning. I was pressured to get xrays and so after traveling 40 minutes to this appointment I left without a cleaning because the office manager refused my request to forgo the x-rays for health reasons . I had called her the week before and left a voice message asking her to call me back because I wanted to speak to her about this very subject. She never returned my call and so when I showed up for my cleaning appointment I was simply told that unless I got the x-rays they would not clean my teeth so I asked if I should leave ( i was in the chair) . It was suggested that there was nothing they could do for me without the x-rays other than let my dentist look at my teeth . Her reasoning was liability and it just left me feeling like she was more interested and concerned about protecting the staff then she was concerned about my specific health concerns and unique needs as a patient regarding unnecessary exposure. Still love Dr. Allison! He is the best! I just never thought it would end this way, and all because I wanted to have my teeth cleaned without exposure to an xray.He was always compassionate and never pushy. They regularly offer me appointments in Carlisle, which is too far to drive for a 10-minute appointment. The last issue was the confusing way I felt I was basically tricked into buying a second retainer when one was already factored into my upfront costs. When I called, I was given a different name for the place, even though the phone number is the same. If this is still Dr. Warren's office, I say shame on your service for a resident that used your services for over 10 years. I was calling for a dental cleaning. I asked if this was the place on Main and Walnut Streets, because they didn't give me the right name. (I have another doctor by a similar name) It was the same place. I took photos so you know what place this is, and the sign showing it. I told the receptionist that I wanted to get a cleaning. She confirmed my name and information that was on their file. Like, birthdate, home address, phone number and insurance. I told her I wasn't having any problems, and I haven't been there in a while. As far as insurance I am cash pay because I have no insurance. She said she will look for an OPEN appointment. I waited and she came back and said she can put me in in November. (That's 10 months away) I told her that was too long for an appointment. She then said she will see if there is any cancellations. Came back and said there isn't any, but she can get me in in the month of September. I replied to her, that she is giving me a long wait because I have no insurance. She said that wasn't so, they have no appointments to give me. Well ,our call ended because if I have to wait that long, I could find a new dentist within that time and told her so. I'm sure the person managing this place has this set up, and I am going to look into it further. Dr Warren never did this to me with my appointments. He took my cash, credit card and money from a long term loan.

He took responsibility for the level of care my son received at Hanover Dental Care, and has taken steps to help alleviate the burden our family has faced due to this unfortunate situation. While I still am frustrated that our family has had to face significant struggles to get my son back to proper oral health, I am forever thankful that Dr. Resh treated us with respect, and ensured that the situation was taken care of. The office has assured me that steps will be taken to ensure this type of failure never happens again. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Hanover Dental Care neglected to provide adequate preventative and diagnostic care for my 6.5 year old son over the course of the past three years. Despite coming in every 6 months for preventative dental care, per the recommendations of the American Dental Association ... and per the coverage allowance of our dental insurance, my son was neglected, and left without proper dental treatments. Hanover Dental Care's complete disregard for my son's oral health led to an emergency visit with a pediatric dentist, who then urgently referred us to an oral surgeon, who IMMEDIATELY scheduled my son for a sedated surgical extraction of three baby teeth that were left to rot and decay in his mouth. Due to this office's complete and utter neglect in the diagnosis of several large cavities, and the lack of appropriate treatment of those cavities, we are now paying thousands of dollars out of pocket, and are forced to schedule our son for multiple sedation dentistry treatments in order to preserve his teeth.
