After finding out they mishandled my paperwork and going a week of hearing nothing about scheduling a consultation with their surgery team, a friend recommended I try Conestoga. I called Conestoga on a Wednesday, had a consultation with an oral surgeon for my tooth the next day, and the tooth was out the following Wednesday. The kicker? The oral surgeon (super guy) gave me local anesthesia and had the tooth out in 60 seconds...no broken root, no pain at all. My experience was great from the first person I spoke to on the phone, to the dental techs, to the surgeon. I recommend calling Conestoga for any major dental work.

The staff is pretty friendly and the hours are very accommodating, which is a huge plus; and they do work with most insurance companies. My first issue is that you're required pay for at least half of the procedure upfront whether you have insurance or not. That means depending on how much work is needed the cost can range from somewhat expensive to nearly unaffordable. Due to my particular situation something needed to be done immediately and even though they were aware of my dental experience I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman instead of a healthcare provider. The procedure was quick for having 2 cavities drilled out in preparation for upcoming root canals leaving me to suspect the filling was not substantial. I came back 2 days later (fortunately seeing a different dentist) and found my hunch to be correct. Considering I paid $400 which was only half of the first two procedures (with several more coming) I'm not thrilled with what "care" I've received so far.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Stender and his staff. I chose this practice because it…read morewas the only one of 2 in the area that accepted my health insurance. It's about 25 miles away but worth it to be covered for oral surgery. When I went to Dr Stender's office for the initial consultation the staff was very nice. During the consult, the doctor and his assistant were cheerful. I felt like I was with friends. Dr explained the procedure in detail but in layman's terms. His receptionist told me the approximate copay which was within a few dollars of the actual amount. I left confident that what seemed like a major thing- crown lengthening (bone shaving), was a minor operation. It turned out to be routine and minor oral surgery. In fact, I drove myself to and from the office on the day of the surgery. Dr Stender skillfully applied local anesthesia. It didn't hurt when he inserted any of the needles nor when he did the surgery. I was only there for about 45 minutes from parking my car to heading back home. I had no pain afterwards and I did apply a cold pack for the first couple of hours per instructions. I never took any pain meds and returned a week later to have stitches removed. I had no discomfort or complications. I highly recommend Dr Stender and his associates. He always used my preferred nickname which is more than I can say for some of my co-workers :-) if you're looking for excellent service from competent and personable professionals look no further.

My wife and I had considerable work done at Hamburg and we were very happy with the staff and especially Carol who went out of her way to help us in a courteous and timely manner. We were impressed to know that they have 14 other centers in our state and we already went to Kenhorst, Pa. on our last experience and it was a great experience. Absolutely, completely upset with this " corporate" chain. I had amazing care after surgery. Dr…read more Kim oral surgery and staff were rude, short, and failed every aspect of basic dental surgery. Failed implant placements, on all but 2 out of the original 7. Resulting in a second surgery and paying for another implant only to have all implant angle to be wrong, then having threads showing on an implant and pain not only were the implant was placed on a tendon but now pain where the threads are showing. I have been without teeth a full year I was in immediate dentures Feb to Oct and unable to wear the bottoms due to the pain, thankfully the dentist got me semi functional teeth to be normal until the second surgery healed only to be put right back into not being able to wear my bottom teeth again and still having pain on the top, I have seen another Dentist in the practice to take over my "complex" case and been falling on deaf ears, I called to ask for help with the pain trying to wear bottoms that no longer fit because of implant height changes and was treated as if I was nothing, I paid 39k for implants that arent placed correctly a addition surgery and for a 6-9 month process to now be going into a new year! I brought up concerns and painfully spots and nothing no adjustment or help. My tooth dentures hasn't been adjusted since Oct I had to call crying in pain to get an appointment for bottom adjustment when the denture was craving into my ridge and cheek. I have absolutely no faith or trust as I did when I started this journey. At the age of 33 I don't want to smile and have not been able to eat properly since Feb 2025. And now I'm stuck i paid everything and I'm stuck without teeth, without any way to correct the surgery, and no concerns from any staff. All of this because a surgeon lacked bedside manor and basic anatomy knowledge. And now the only dentist I trusted isn't part of the network and I have to see another dentist that just is pushing me off. I have been overly patient and trying to "roll with the punches" but I don't have anything that was promised and forever lost the ability to have a full happy healthy smile again. So no I do not recommend any person to use American Dental Solutions at any office and I got surgery at both Hamburg and Kenhorst been seen by both dentists at Hamburg and Kenhorst, since no one is left to listen or care there, please do not use American Dental they are just a small scale Aspen. Oh and make sure they actually send ALL information to your insurance company not just what "they think" insurance will cover.
