I had an issue with billing and posted a review about my experience. I was actually contacted by…read moreDr. Genetti she wanted to know what exactly was the problem. After I explained she informed me that she would address my problem and said they would reimburse my full amount. I was really surprised and thank her for helping me out. Within 3 days I had a check in the mail. The fact that Dr. Genetti personally contacted me and took care of my problem shows she cares about her patients. Also, the dental care quality I received was excellent.

I am out of network for my dental insurance. But I checked with the insurance on what kind of…read morecoverage I would have for a comprehensive evaluation and if they used code D9310 for billing my insurance would cover 80% of the $250 charge. I called 2 times and informed billing about the code and when I went to my appointment I made it clear I didn't want to have the evaluation if they used another code. I was told on the phone and at the appointment they would use that specific code. When I want to pay the bill at checkout they told me total bill is $445. I had to pay out of pocket and they would send to my insurance company. The other charge was for Radiographic imaging. I thought everything was part of the evaluation but I paid it thinking the insurance company would pay 80%. They did not use the code number I gave them for billing and out of $445 charge the insurance company only paid $66. When I called billing about this matter they said they don't use that billing code I questioned why 3 times they told me they do and gave them the code each time. This was a problem for me due to being out of work from surgery and didn't have a lot of money to spend for a consultation. I feel I was lied to and not properly informed about the additional charges for the Radiographic. Needless to say I will not go back for the second consultation to discuss what dental procedures they recommend.

This is no longer Loeffler & Pitt dental. Sad for us, it was time for them to retire as we all do…read moreeventually. My whole family, including my parents were patients of theirs for 30 yrs. We had moved from Lancaster for 7 years, now permanently back. When I made an appointment to re-establish care, I was not told of their retirement plans and that the business was being sold, until I arrived for the appointment last February. Shocking was to say the least. I had to check to even see if I was in the right building. Not much of a problem with the new hygienist (still wasn't L & P quality) but I had to return as I knew I had a filling that needed to be replaced. This is when it got ugly. No introductions were made, half the time I didn't even know what was happening as nothing was explained, it was just done, by a dental assistant, not the dentist. She called Dr. Pandit in to look at it and he says it's fine. I finally ask for a mirror and almost passed out--the tooth she worked on was now lower than the tooth next to it. These are my bottom front teeth. Dr. Pandit said that that didn't matter because when you close your mouth you don't see the lower front teeth. Are you kidding me?! Oh yes, he didn't even want to refill the porcelain filling to begin with because "it's on the back of your tooth, no one will see it and those fillings don't last long". I had mine for over 50 yrs. The back of the tooth is still rough, and now he saws down the tooth without the filling trying to level them up. Well after seeing what he did in the mirror (which I was never offered, gee I wonder why) he's now ground down the two teeth into a v shape in the middle. That's when I took off my bib and started to get up. Dr. Pandit suggested I go to a cosmetic dentist or orthodontist to fix his mess. Really?? What a pity that a wonderful practice that I referred several people to over the years, is sadly no more. Don't use this practice, they are horrible.

I used to be terrified of going to the dentist because of bad experiences when I was younger. Dr…read more Pitt and his amazing staff have taken that fear away. I have had fillings, a crown, and various other dental work done here and all with the care and kindness needed for a scary visit to the dentist. All the staff is great, but Wendy, Sue, and Rose always go the extra mile. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

5 stars for Conestoga. I had a broken tooth and went to another large dental provider in my area,…read morewhich I will not name here. Upon seeing my tooth I was told it needed to be removed surgically, and that I should have general anesthesia because it could require a lot of drilling and the root could break off. After finding out they mishandled my paperwork and going a week of hearing nothing about scheduling a consultation with their surgery team, a friend recommended I try Conestoga. I called Conestoga on a Wednesday, had a consultation with an oral surgeon for my tooth the next day, and the tooth was out the following Wednesday. The kicker? The oral surgeon (super guy) gave me local anesthesia and had the tooth out in 60 seconds...no broken root, no pain at all. My experience was great from the first person I spoke to on the phone, to the dental techs, to the surgeon. I recommend calling Conestoga for any major dental work.
