I got 5 oz pours of all of their IPA's and was in heaven. The Really Big Bird and Galaxy Cutting Ties were amongst my favorites. I wanted to try multiple stouts but unfortunately most of their pastry stouts were not on tap. They were only in 18.5-ounce bottles so I could only order one. I got the Macaroon Macaroon, which was a collab with Veil Brewing in Richmond VA (another phenomenal brewery that I have been to). It was dessert in a glass. I had the lady friend with me, or I would have opened and closed this place that or passed out in the corner. I was in heaven. She ordered some spinach and artichoke dip but I don't remember it. It was filler as far as I was concerned. This place isn't about the food; it's about their amazing beer.

We walked in and there was no hostess. The bartenders stood around and did not greet us. We had to go ask for service so that we can be seated (why?) and then once we were seated, it took a while for a server to take our order. Once we got our order, we never got our waters refilled and only were checked on to see if we'd want more alcohol. The menu was alright, though a bit basic. Food tasted fine. Presentation was basic and the little cup of fries seems stingy and unnecessary when there's already a tray. The alcohol was fine. I was pleased they had cocktails in a can (they have a distillery with a wide variety of spirits). No ciders though. The beer selection was good although the menu on the wall was not updated. It would've been good if we could just order from the wall but apparently the drafts and to-go menus are not updated. Overall very subpar service and unwelcoming pretentious vibes. Would not return.

I started off with a flight and picking only 4 beers was a difficult decision. They provide a wide variety of different types of beer for any type of beer lover. The service is very quick and friendly. The brewery is very large and can accommodate large groups of people.

My wife sampled a flight of four locally available beers and really enjoyed the opportunity to try selections that are difficult to find outside the Boston area. I jokingly told her not to become too attached to them since we wouldn't be bringing them home with us. Our tour guide (I believe Eric) was funny and charming. Well worth learning the history of this brewery. Definitely a must do when visiting Boston. We arrived here on Tuesday after marathon Monday on weary legs to enjoy a brewery tour, some eats, and delicious beer. Sat in the outside beer garden during a sunny warm afternoon. Nice staff and there is a gift shop here too. Plenty of their craft beers and special brews to choose from. Did a few beer flights, drank more than a few pints, and called an Uber to get back to the hotel later on, so worth it. A must visit when in Boston, especially if you enjoy good beer.

The Cambridge location is busy around the time we went, which was around noon on a Saturday. There is lots of seating in the front but also in the back which is a little more quiet. I wish we knew that because we didn't see any signage to indicate where to order what. We also saw a lot of people sitting at the bar eating and drinking coffee, so it took a little bit to find a spot at the bar just to have a drink. I think the bar should be reserved for those looking to have a beer. A positive though is that the beer tasty-- light and refreshing. I thought some of the flavors were really creative. I got my usual flight to start that included 2 hazy IPA's, a pale ale, and a blonde. The beer types were pretty standard. I didn't see anything crazy, but all were solid to really good. My favorite was the One IPA to Rule them all (hazy). For lunch the lady friend and I split a French Fries flight which is parmesan fries with 3 different dipping sauces. What a great idea. One of the sauces was a cilantro ranch (delish) and the other 2 appeared to be something similar to Raisin' Cane's sauce (I don't like mayo so I didn't try). The fries were a little soggy though. I also got an order of Gochujang and lime sauced wings. These were phenomenal! The best wings I have had in a long time, maybe ever! Holy Shit, I want to go back to Boston just to eat these again.
