I hosted a surprise party recently and SV RT couldn't have been better! I ordered online, with plenty of special offers to chose from. They had it ready at the requested time. Everything was delicious and they were so accommodating and attentive. I never felt like we were a burden, they were helpful, kind and pleasant the entire time. We cleaned up after ourselves and along the way. I even needed to order one additional pizza towards the end and it came out fast and delicious. The entire crew was great. I've been going to this pizza parlor for a very long time (41 years) and my last review was eight years ago so I thought it was time for another. They just recently remodeled inside Which looks very nice! If you're looking to eat pizza and watch sports, this is the place ! The restaurant is always clean and warm or cool on hot summer days and the workers are always so nice and their pizza is made with love and the freshest ingredients they really make and cook it like it's for them! Read whole review. TLDR The Scott's Valley location acquired the Felton locations phone number. We got a coupon in the mail today and called to order a 1 topping large pizza. We have had the number saved for the FELTON location for over 30 years. Now Scott's Valley has acquired that number. We found this out when going in to the Felton Round Table to pick up the pizza we ordered with the intent of using one of the coupons. When we found out our pizza was in Scott's Valley, we were going to go get it. That was not a problem. The problem came when we called to find out if they will accept the coupon and they refused. We pointed out they will have a pizza that will not be picked up or paid for if they do not accept the coupon. They would not accept it and said they had the number for 9 months. We'll he have had the number saved as "Felton Round Table" since they got thay number. Before that person on the phone was probably even born. We saved Felton's new number and are now waiting for our pizza from the Felton location, with the coupon in hand. The Scott's Valley location even said other people have been upset. The SV owner REALLY made a poor business decision. My children are 4th generation locals. We will never buy from the SV location again. They are losing more money by not accepting the coupon. I was raised loving round table and I raised my kids to love it but the quality of pizza from the Scott's valley location is ruining it for all of us. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with heavy red sauce because that's my and my kid's favorite thing about round table and not only did our pizza have hardly any red sauce if any, it didn't have much cheese either so it was essentially $25 bread sticks that were practically inedible. This isn't the first time I received a low quality pizza like this from this location either, which is why I prefer the felton location but unfortunately they are closed on Sundays now. I feel cheated in a way, partially because I paid so much for something I threw away most of, but also because I'm bummed that the experience at this location is making my kids not love something I wish they would love as a kid like I did. read more

The quality & service has gone down at The Scotts Valley location! It was very insulting when manager used some negative overtones towards my Family and I. I got the wrong order delivered again. I believe they can see the history of what you order in the computer. The manager on 9/3 at approx. 8:15pm. made a derogatory comment. I bit my tongue kept my cool and walked out. I drove over to Mountain Mikes and ordered a combination pizza and waited in the parking lot! In fact the combination pizza was delicious even better than Round Tables in their heyday! It is unfortunate that many franchises have employees running their business into the ground...and don't even realize it I did ask for the Owner/manager's name and office number. The manager on duty refused and told me to google it. He made racist comment towards my family under his breath. He continue to argue and told me I got what I ordered. I always get either take out or delivery, and I order the Gourmet Veggie with some variations (red sauce, add sausage, etc). For about the last year, they have been exceptionally generous with all the toppings and the pizzas have been delicious! This is something new, and I don't know if it's a new owner, manager, employees who care more or what, but I like it and I always call them to tell them how stellar the pies are. I really like this Roundtable. The fact that it actually tasted like Roundtable pizza is a plus. The pizza was piping hot and delicious. We def had enough to take with us and we were going to ask for boxes, but it was so good that it never made it that far. The RT by us is NOT the same and is a huge let down. I do love the atmosphere of this RT as it brings me back to a time when I was young and going to RT was a treat. The store is dark as RT should be with a little bit of light from the street and the light bouncing off the stained glass windows! The customer service was very nice too. They were young kids who seemed like they actually wanted to work for their paycheck! The only down side were the bathrooms. I'm surprised to read all the negative reviews of this place. I've been going here for 100 years. It's feels like round table has always been my favorite pizza. I'm not sure why I guess I'm just used to it and grew up on it. Like the fact that I can get light sauce and it's not too spicy, I ordered a small pizza by phone and cinnamon twists my order was taken courteously and it was repeated back to me. I was told it would be 30 minutes, so I kind of killed some time. My only complaint is it had obviously been sitting around for a bit because it was cold when I got there. Otherwise, my entire experience was perfect, excellent pizza excellent twists tonight's dinner and dessert for 20 bucks. Can't beat that. read more

The lunch buffet is a great way to sample a variety of pizza without breaking the piggy bank. The service was friendly. They even ask if we had any request on pizza. The restaurant was kept clean. The pizza was fresh and taste just like a Round Table pizza. We came early, so all the pizza was freshly made. The buffet is a great value. Round table is apparently using DoorDash now instead of its own drivers (likely due to recent minimum wage hike in CA). Train wreck of an order. Over an hour late of expected delivery and missing a personal pizza. Called in and they said they couldn't refund directly but they would comp me one in the future. Not sure how that will work seeing nothing was exchanged outside of a verbal commitment. Won't be ordering round table again any time soon. Super disappointing. read more

Just tried to place an order over the phone and the person that took my order was trying to rush me off the phone as soon as he answered. Barely even let me talk. Got my order wrong 3 times and I had to correct him. Got to the point within 30 seconds where I knew that he wasn't really paying attention and then he said "I have to help other customers" instead of finishing my order. I've lived in this town for over 20 years and I can't tell you how many pizzas I've eaten from this place. Always good fast service and reasonably priced. The salad bar is nice and fresh and they have draft beer. I like the "skinny crust" option, not because I'm on a diet or anything but I prefer thin crust pizza and they do it right. The regular and pan crusts are good as well but who want's to fill up on a bunch of dough? This place has been here for ever and I can't imagine it going anyplace soon so you will have plenty of time to give them a try. I'll be back. read more

She comes out, and tells me "you can't come back here, because of your review on Yelp". She even told me "the owner Jeff said that too?" This place is crazy! This place literal let's any random person come up and claim to be any person and just take their pizza without any proof of who they are. I ordered a Pizza, showed up and then the guy at the counter told me that the order was already picked up. I had to wait for the same pizza to get made again while I was starving. They need to actually ask for proof when someone picks up an order and not just let any random person walk in and guess at name's and take pizzas that are attached to whatever name that coincidentally has an order. I really hate to do this. I enjoy supporting our community and try to be positive, but this issue really burnt me up. I found out that if you order online after 11:30 in the morning the prices go up by more than 10%. I found this out because I tried placing an order just before 11:30 and it wouldn't go through. I tried it several times and then right at 11:30 my shopping cart thingy was emptied. I then rebuilt my order and as I added them back the times, they were all a dollar or 2 more expensive. I imagine it's a way of capitalizing on the lunch crowd, but it seems sneaky. I don't know if they do this during the dinner rush as well. I figure I paid more than 10% higher than I should have, and thought the lockout right before 11:30 meant I was forced to wait until 11:30 before my order could go through. I don't know why people hate on this place the pizza here is BOMB! Went there last week for the weekday lunch buffet and enjoyed way more food than I should have. PRICE: For only $8.35 for all you can eat pizza, salad, breadsticks, and cinnasticks there is no way you can get more pizza for your money FOOD: -Started with a salad and the bar had just been restocked all the veggies were super fresh and the parmesan italian dressing was creamy and the fresh eggs were nice -The first plate was pepperoni, veggie, and two cheese breadsticks and all were great. The breadsticks were a little hard but the pizza was delicious -Then they brought out a BBQ chicken pizza and lets just say that was worth the entire cost just in those two slices -Finished with the cinnasticks and left feeling satisfied and didn't regret the full feeling one bit ATMOSPHERE: Unfortunately this is the area they lose a star. The booths are old and i felt like I was sitting in a giant sinkhole the whole time. It wasn't dirty buy it certainly is time for an upgrade STAFF: When I asked when the next pizza was coming the guy at the counter asked what I wanted and then ordered that to be made. Can I give zero stars? Some of the worst service ever! Some of the worst employees. I don't even live in Scotts Valley, my sister does. been to visit a few times and we all love pizza so I've been to this location a few times. And every time it gets worse. This visit my sister ordered the pizza, gave her name Kristin, then we sat and waited 40 minutes. While we were waiting they called "David" another 20 minutes go by and they call David again. I asked if it was 6 twists and an x-large pepperoni pizza. It was, it just sat there as we just sat there waiting. I will not being going back there. Ordered a pizza, pan crust, and got back to the hotel, opened the box, and the all the toppings were burnt. All the toppings were black. When I called, the worker said they have to over cook the pan crust pizzas, otherwise the crust is doughy and not cooked. The worker did not seem to know why every other pizza restaurant in the world can cook a pan crust without burning the toppings, but not Scotts Valley Round Table. Tonight they forgot an item and they were back with it in 10 minutes (after ordering for years this is the first time and the poor driver felt so bad!) This is the worst Round Table out there. For delivery, there's a 1/50 chance your order will be correct. This last time, I ordered a Sierra Mist and was given a Mtn Dew. I'm pregnant and asked for non caffeinated on purpose. Asked for Ranch and got Marinara Sauce. The cinnamon twists were extra burnt. Their customer service is non existent. You'll never be able to speak with a manager. They run out of pizza during the lunch hour notoriously. They're rude and treat you like an inconvenience when you walk in.
