Went on a weekday for lunch and there were many booths with open seating. The tables are well kempt but the booth chairs were ripped and stuffing was kind of spilling out. The selection is solid for a lunch buffet. You get things from stir fry string beans to california rolls to BBQ pork to prawns. Food was warm but looks like it was sitting out for awhile as some of the noodles tasted stale. But flavors were good! Staff were attentive and friendly

This place is a solid option if you're looking for an affordable all-you-can-eat spot. The prices are noticeably better than most other buffets in the area, which makes it a great choice when you want something quick and satisfying without spending too much. While the selection isn't as large as some bigger buffets, the items they do offer are generally decent. The savory dishes are better than the desserts they offer for the value. The dessert section, however, could use improvement, as most of the sweets are pretty underwhelming. Overall, if you prioritize price and want a straightforward, no-frills buffet experience, this place is worth trying. It's not the most extensive buffet, but for the cost, it delivers a great meal. The service was great as well and ambiance was decent.

Me and my crew needed some dinner and one way to please everybody is a buffet. Same price for everybody and you just get what you want, no waiting or putting in orders. You get to see the food before it gets to your plate! I found Asian Buffet on the Yelp and saw it was right off the freeway. Just get off the 101 at East 10th and go south on Automall Parkway and then your right there in the first shopping center. It all the way in the back. We get seated easy, just water to drink please. The food here is basically the same as most Chinese buffets in the country, unless you're in a high Asian population area. Those buffets will have more of the real authentic Chinese stuff, like some animals you didn't know you could eat! Here pretty much standard American Chinese stuff, like egg rolls, chow mien, egg drop soup, green beans and that general chicken. The chicken wings were good and I liked the clams. Everybody was fed and the food was decent, nothing earth shattering, but good for Gilroy area. Service was just as minimal as any Chinese buffet, they clear the dishes basically.

Decent food selection for a good price. The place is clean and they'll take your plates away once you're done.

The service was really quick to be seated and having your plates cleared. The food was good; I mainly stuck with the sushi, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The ribs also had good flavor and the overall restaurant was very quiet. I've attached the pricing as of January 18, 2026

There was a vast selection of different dishes to choose from. Most of them looked good, some maybe a little long sitting in the warmer. Staff was friendly and service great. Pricing was very fair as well. Overall a nice dining experience!

I went here on a Sunday around 7pm for dinner and there was no wait! I was a little surprised by that since most buffets I go to tends to have a wait. Anyways, this buffet looked a bit on the smaller side. I'm not really used to that, but the food I tried was pretty good. There isn't much variety here, but my favorite items was their sushi pieces, but everything still tasted good, so I'm happy about that. I'd recommend this place! The food tasted good and it will fill you up. Yes, it's not the best buffet out there since it's a very simple buffet, but it's not too pricey. It's a good place if you just want a simple meal with some variety.

Love the ribs, good broccoli, beef sweet-and-sour pork is good and the popcorn shrimp very tasty I also like the hot and sour soup.

Good selection of Asian food and a nice place to have dinner. Dinner time has more options and a lot of the food tastes delicious.

Not too much selections. Food was just Ok. It is cheap though. But I would go somewhere else and pay a little more for better food.

Excellent value for the amount of food. It's hard to find an Asian buffet for $18 per person on weekends.

It was okay. Typical asian buffet fare. Not very good and just barely warm. Good price though.

What time does lunch end and dinner start?

Lunch is 11am-3pm Dinner is 4:00pm-9:00pm

What days do they serve crab?

I believe they serve blue crab every day. If not during lunch, then definitely during dinner.

Despite the bar, and a handful of people there drinking, it was unusually quiet the entire time. My son recommended and ordered the salmon sashimi dinner. I followed suit, and my daughter ordered the chicken katsu bento box. Miso soup and salads came out quickly and were both delicious. The main dishes came out and everyone was happy with their meals. The amount and thickness of the sashimi was crazy and extraordinarily fresh. I was so surprised to find a legit and reasonably priced spot in Gilroy.

We decided to eat at Ninja Sushi since we ate there once a long time ago probably like 14 years ago. We arrived there on a Saturday late afternoon for a late lunch . The sushi restaurant is located off of 1st street in an older plaza in Gilroy. Nob Hills is in the same plaza. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot out front. Ninja Sushi has clean sleek modern decor. The restaurant is divided into two spacious rooms. In the larger room it's family friendly where the sushi bar, tables, and booths are at for dine in. The other room consists of the full bar with plenty of high chairs. Both rooms look inviting. We ordered the Wonderful sushi roll, two sake nigiri, steamed gyoza, Garlic roll, Star roll, large hazy IPA beer and a glass of Chardonnay. Everything was tasty but nothing special. The Wonderful was flavorful and I enjoyed the little scallops. The gyoza was steamed which made it taste more succulent. Star roll was scrumptious with every bite. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Ninja Sushi. The staff were nice and accommodating. There was a local favorite vibe going on. My one huge gripe though I had was the price point particularly the bento boxes and the special rolls were more pricier than I expected. Since the restaurant is located in Gilroy I expected the price point to be much more fair and on par with the sushi restaurants in Morgan Hill. It's been awhile since the last time we were there, not sure when we will be back again.

We really did want to like this place, but missed some marks. - they're using the wrong seaweed sheet. It's way to thin and some of the rolls were falling apart - sushi rice was overcooked and mushy - the sashimi was not the worst but the way they sliced it was not clean cut - we were not greeted when we walked in, almost to the point we felt like just walking out - found one strand of hair in the roll, we felt so bad for the older ladies, we just couldn't bare to tell them - found a piece of imitation crab wrapper in the California roll The two older ladies behind the sushi counter were sweet and I saw they were working hard. One even had a neck brace and the other lady could barely walk. The server was younger and felt like he wasn't really there. He just took our order and brought out couple dishes. Never came back to check on us and he kind of disappeared until I went up to the counter for Togo box and the ladies called for him. I wish he could've helped out the ladies more. I don't know what their situation is, but there are certain standards that needs to be met if you want to have a successful business and I feel they haven't got there yet. Wish them the very best of luck, success and health! Oh the best thing we ordered was the fried squid. Delicious! It was light and crispy.

We finally arrived at Hanami Sushi for a Saturday dinner recently. The sushi restaurant is located in a nice plaza in Morgan Hill. Parking is easy and accessible in the large parking lot. We ordered a 2 item bento box with teriyaki beef and tonkatsu, salmon nigiri, lion king roll, dragon roll, unagi nigiri, and Chardonnay wine. The food was delicious and tasty as usual. The teriyaki beef in my bento box was tender and juicy. Both the lion king roll and dragon roll was fresh and high quality. We enjoyed all the food. Overall our experience at Hanami Sushi was ok that night. The food was good and traditional. Price point of the rolls, nigiri, and wine was reasonably fair. Unfortunately the service was bleh. Our female server never really checked with us at all until she dropped the check at the end. No refill of waters, no greeting in the beginning, no checking in if everything was ok? We probably won't be coming for a while once again.
