If your only option for pizza is this location-skip it. This location never has its shit together. Over 40 min late with my delivery making it close to 2 hours when I was told it was only going to be an hour. When I called to ask, the child that answered my call, snapped back a rude ass comment. I asked to speak to the manager and I very quickly understood where the employee learned that behavior. We have used this Round Table location for years for our office lunch-ins. We normally order between 5-7 pizzas and they are always hot and delivered on time. I placed an order Tuesday, for a next day delivery. I spoke with Savannah and she was very professional and took my information quickly. She said she would call the next day to get my payment information, which she did at the exact time she said she would. The delivery guy showed up right at 12noon when I had asked for the delivery. The pizza's were made fresh and hot! I know it is easy to write a negative review when something goes wrong so I wanted to make sure that this Round Table had a great review that reflects the experience we have had with them for years! read more

We decided to check this place out on a recommendation of the hotel clerk hoping it would show off some of the local garlic tastes. The food was decent but nothing ultra spectacular. This is probably the worst round table pizza I've ever been at, not only are the employees rude and don't tend to customers the time for waiting while it was completely empty inside is up to 40 minutes. One trip salad bar and you have to ask for refills to stand and wait for 5 mins while being completely ignored. No name tags being worn so I can't place names down or else I would. We ordered our pizza and wings online it took two hours and our order was wrong for the wings. We called to complain the girl who answered the phone knew exactly who we were and knew our order was wrong for the wings. She offered us a credit to a future order with them. I said know I want a refund for the wings not a credit. She put a manager on the phone her name was Veronica she was extremely rude and said she can't refund us because we ordered online if we want a refund we need to come into the store to get it. Totally unexplainable when you took our money online but can't refund when you screwed up our order. It's late we ordered for a delivery because we don't want to got out that's why we paid for a delivery fee and a $10.00 tip for our delivery. I told her we want the refund delivered to me at home. I cannot express how rude she was. Where is the customer service and apologetic? She got defensive instead of taking responsibility and hung up on me with no resolution to my problem. It's the principle of the matter and how she responded she said we want the wings back and will send a driver in an hour. My husband called Round Table to order some pizza for us. So, when we went to pick it up, we realized he had called the wrong Round Table. Whoops! Silly mistake, not paying attention. So, he called back to explain and cancel the order. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude, even after he kindly apologized, more than once. She went on to tell him that he would no longer be able to order from that Round Table, because they had already made the pizzas. He apologized again and hung up with her. I understand how it can be frustrating when a customer makes a mistake like that, and realizes it just a bit too late, but when the customer calls back and politely explains and repeatedly apologizes, there is no reason to forbid the customer from ordering from your restaurant. But, don't worry. We won't. Why would we want to, with customer service like that? read more

Recently moved to Gilroy and we were excited to see our favorite pizza chain here. We ordered an extra large pep with light sauce tonight and it was made perfectly. Ordered two pizzas online for delivery. After about 40minuets or so I get a call from the delivery guy. He told me that he had my pizza and when I asked him where he was so I could meet up with him, he gave me attitude and told me he can't go in the building, which by the way is not what I asked him. I then walked downstairs to meet him and he was just sitting in his car. Once he saw me he stepped out and told me how much I owe. I can already tell this dude had an attitude he had one ear bud in and wouldn't look at me when I was talking to him. I gave him the money and was short $1.78 so I asked him if he can break a 20 and which he told me "no you are the first cash delivery of the day!". I went back to the apartment and grabbed $1.78 in change. When I handed him the change he sarcastically laughed shook his head then said here's your pizza and left. Keep in mind while he was looking at the change, I was reaching in my back pocket to give him a $20 tip since I felt like I was a bit of an inconvenience to him but instead he wanted to give that little sarcastic laugh and act like a little girl on her period. Drivers name is Sergio. Next time I'll use my $20 to buy him a box of tampons and midol. read more

In order to write a review you must click on a star...so I placed an order online on my way home from work with a pick up time of 6pm. Show up at 6pm to find out a pizza was made but the employees were confused over the order entered online. Umm...your website allows for me to enter specifics based on a check or no check system for sauce/toppings and my name and number are clearly listed for contact. Why nobody called to clarify is a mystery. Needless to say I ended up having to wait for a second pizza to be made because apparently they don't know how to follow simple online orders. Being new to the area I'm not sure where else to go for pizza but I'm sure going on a mission to find a Mom and Pop shop who makes damn good pizza and is reliable enough to communicate with the customer! read more

We are a family of pizza lovers. We have tried most of the pizza shops in Gilroy, but for our family Round Table is the best. The complaints seem to be about their delivery service, so maybe you can drive and pick up your pizza. It will be well worth it. We have had pizza from the Gilroy Round Table at least 10 times and it is always great. I clicked the wrong sauce and when I went to pick the pizza up the manager agreed without me even asking to make me a new pizza with the sauce that I actually meant to purchase. Last night we had the chicken pizza and a simple sausage and mushroom. I drove all the way to Round Table and picked up my pizza at a pre-arranged time of 6:35PM. I called in 2 xlarge pizzas, a personal pizza, and 24 wings. I love round table and it's rare for me to have a bad experience with the food. But this time around my pizzas were very thin. I called and asked why my order was so thin. The gentleman that answered told me they don't have thin crust but sometimes the dough will roll out thin and he explained that during the cooking process they poke holes on the dough to avoid the crust bubbling. I explained to him that I always received quality pizza from here, and being that it's so expensive, it was disappointing getting such a thin crust. The gentleman than put the manager on and the manager told me to give the pizza back and he will remake them. I had 3 hungry kids who had been waiting for me and I work in health care so I work long hours wearing an N95 mask so I go through the day skipping lunch. I told the manager that I already had eaten some of the pizza. He than said "I don't get it! You said you don't like the pizza yet you ate it." He than went on to tell me no one else has complained about it. I've never been treated like that, and for this reason I will no longer be a customer there. Round Table Pizza ruined Halloween for my toddler. We ordered the Halloween special online at 4:15 p.m., and got an ETA of 5:09 p.m. for pick up. When we arrived, there was a line out the door of people waiting to pay/order. My pizza wasn't ready until 6:10 p.m., meaning it took TWO hours for my order to be completed. The people at the counter were unapologetic and just said everyone ordered online at the same time so it wasn't their fault. By the time we got home, ate dinner and got dressed in our costumes, it was well past my son's normal bedtime and he was too cranky to trick or treat. Miss the round table near me in Santa Clara that always delivered in 30 minutes or less -- these guys can't get an order done in less than 1.5 hours even on a normal evening without a special Halloween meal deal. read more

This place has some excellent pizza. The taste is very unique and it tasted better than other Round Tables I have had. The crust was crispy and golden. Topping were really fresh. I think it is a bit pricier than the other pizza joints but you do get what you pay for. I would not catagorize this place with the other chain joints like Pizza Hut or Pappa Johns. It just is not in the same catagory. If you can spend a little more and treat yourself then it is worth it. I am not into artificial cheese and canned stuff. I will pay the piper!! read more

Round table pizza is seriously the last "real" pizza chain left around. Not only do I love their pizza but I just LOVE their salad bar. We have tried different pizza places in town but gilroy RT just seems consistent with fresh ingredients. Yes it could get pricey but it's really worth it. I had been a customer for over 3 years until today. I never had encountered any issues with them before and for that reason, we placed orders every week. Today I placed another order for the usual, XL Pizza, 24 classic wings and a 2 litter soda. I had my wife pick it up but when I took a slice of pizza, the pizza was harder then the pizza box. I immediately noticed this pizza had been reheated from a previous order. When we called to have the pizza exchanged they literally said we will not exchange your pizza and when I said that we were a regular customer, the person who did not give me his name told me, "I rather refund your money and not have you come here ever again" then he hung up on me. Really bad customer service. I hope the owner reads this review as all I wanted was to have my pizza exchanged for a fresh one. From one entrepreneur to another, this is not how you want your employees to handle a concern (not a complaint) and specially with your repeat customers who are the most profitable. read more

Crazy expensive, long wait times on the phone to order, super long delivery times, and I've personally experienced 2 orders over $30 back to back that were wrong and dealt with a very rude manager (who coincidentally also was the lady who took my order both times it was wrong). Asked to speak to the owner and was told she was off for a week so I left my information for her to call me but never heard back. I called back and spoke to her after waiting on hold for 10 minutes for her to ask me "what I wanted" while being interrupted, yelled at and told that I'd have to provide the wrong pizzas as proof because I could be lying!?!? This lady literally was talking over me and accusing me and other customers of trying to cheat her!! Ridiculous! Some of the absolute WORST customer service EVER. Also both people (manager and owner) I tried to talk to had very broken English and didn't seem to understand what I was saying. So frustrating! read more

Unfortunately this location is hit and miss since moving to Gilroy in 1993. For awhile the quality was meeting the high standard of other locations; however, in the last four months in 2015 the hap hazard made pizzas on our weekly delivery has sucked. Therefore, since other places are now comparable in this bad quality for a cheaper price time to move on at least in Gilroy. Will save my Round Table experience for better locations. read more

Ordered online and went to pick up the pizza. Cashier reads off the order from the receipt. I get home and it's the wrong pizza. The number on the box doesn't even match the receipt. There were only 3 boxes there! I'm a vegetarian and I got a meat pizza. It went into the trash and I'm out $27. I emailed a complaint to corporate and heard nothing back. Basically, they don't even care enough to apologize. I paid cash so I can't even cancel the credit card transaction. I wish I could give this place negative stars because of the rude "manager". EVERY single time I have ordered from this location, the same rude lady picks up the phone. She can barely hear and asks you to repeat yourself 7 million times, and when she still cannot hear, she lashes out on you and makes it seem like it's your fault. EVERY TIME SHE DOES THIS!!!! Pizza was awesome however went with a group including pregnant sister n law and the experience was horrible. Customer service was terrible from the time we got there to the time we left. Waited for over 45 min for pizza, the lady who took our order did not acknowledge us when we got there matter of fact she answered the phone and took a phone order while we stood waiting to place an order. I asked for a to go box and the guy literally tossed it to me like he was dealing a card game. I will travel to the Morgan Hill Round table the next time we want a great pizza with great service!
