I was in the mood for pizza this past weekend, and there weren't many optIons open on a Sunday evening and selling small sized pies or by the slice. Ended up at Pizza Factory, and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The place was clean and bright, with a spacious dining room and a little arcade on the side. Staff provided immediate service, and my order took about ten minutes to be ready. I ordered a mini-size awesome combo on thin crust with a side of ranch for takeout. It was the perfect size to fill my hunger without leftovers, about 8 inches in diameter. The sauce, cheese, and toppings stretched all the way to the edges. It was yummy, though the ingredients weren't really balanced. It was loaded with italian sausage and black olives, piled on high, but lacking in onions and green peppers. It did affect the taste of the pizza, but the ranch helped (not hidden valley brand). I enjoyed the cheesy savory pie, and was happy with my meal altogether. read more

Worst lunch pizza buffet ever. No, worst buffet ever. I paid 16.00 for this crap-not including the tip I left. This is the first time I left hungry at an all you can eat buffet . I would rather be hungry than waste calories on the slop that they offered today. The pizza is terrible. Too much sauce, it's greasy ,and the dough is really chewy. I would rather spend 50.00 on a cheese pizza at Lil Caesar's. I never thought I would experience a pizza buffet more disgusting than John's Incredible Pizza or CiCI's. Never again . Save your 16.00 ! read more

Ordered delivery. It was ok. In the picture advertised through DD, it shows the subs on a toasted sesame seed roll. That was the main reason I ordered it. It's salty and bland. It was disappointing. Also, why would they put mustard on an Italian sub?! At least give me the option to remove it. I like mustard but not on an ITALIAN SUB. Also got the Caesar salad. Was ok. 'Garlic bread' was just buttered toast. Meatball was tasty. Pasta sauce tastes like Ragu or Prego. A little sweet. I wouldn't order any of it in the future. I'd be willing to try their brand of pizza though. Maybe they were having an off day, IDK, but I like to try a place at least twice before I write them off. read more

Phoned in for pizza, got AI. Thay was the worse conversation. Picked up pizza and it wasn't what I ordere. It was the worse pizza I ever had. Soggy crust and way too much "Tomato past, not pizza sauce!" read more

Came here for the lunch buffet with my son after hearing him rave about this place for quite some time, and it did not disappoint. Dennis was incredibly kind and thoughtful -- I asked if there was any way to make a veggie-based pizza, and he happily made one fresh for me during the all-you-can-eat buffet. That level of kindness and customer service really stood out to me. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was great, and it made for such a nice lunch with my son. We'll definitely be back. Thank you again, Dennis, for being so accommodating and kind! read more

I have been dining here for a couple years, I would grab a pizza while I wait on my laundry. Today for the first time while I was here the manager/ owner was helping at the register. He laughed and insulted me with his answer. I do not spend my hard earned money at business that have horrible customer service skills. I noticed after reading many of the reviews this is a problem with the leadership at the Gilroy location. read more

Just ok pizza comparable to dominoes wings are ok. On the plus side it's sit down and there is a small arcade for the kids

We ordered a medium thin crust Hawaiian pizza to give this place a try. The pizza was ready for pickup in about 20 minutes, which was the estimate I was given when I phoned on the order. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't too good. The toppings were very good, but the crust was tough and very rubbery. Gave our jaws a real good workout. read more

My first experience with Pizza Factory. I was very excited when I received a plastic birthday coupon for 50% off up to $20. In fact, I had never even been to the Pizza Factory in Gilroy and I thought it would be a great adventure! I went online and made the purchase, entered in the coupon code which was applied at checkout. 50% off of my calzone was $9.82, not bad! It asked me for a tip and I said "NO TIP."The transaction process without any difficulty and I immediately headed over to the pizza factory for my birthday calzone. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because the calzone was actually very tasty. I was already thinking about when I wanted to go back for more. But when I got home and looked at my receipt I saw that a tip had been added without my permission, equal to the cost of my calzone! I suddenly had a stomach ache. I don't think I'll ever go back there read more

Pizza Factory - My unknowing tip - Pizza Near Me - Gilroy, California

Today the hubby & I decided to grab lunch from The Pizza Factory here in Gilroy on 10th street. The hubs & I grew up in Gilroy so, we've seen this location/building house multiple different businesses throughout the years. Walking into the place felt different. It honestly looks the nicest we've ever seen it. Ordering was a breeze & it didn't take long at all to get what we wanted. We ended up ordering the All meat pizza in a size small. It was just enough for the hubs & me plus two pieces left over for lunch the next day. Our favorite thing about the pizza was the crispy crust. It's got a nice crispy snap to the crust w/just the right amount of toppings & sauce. We both finished feeling satisfied but not stuffed. Wish there was some kind of Italian herb seasoning to go on top. It needed something, I just can't put my finger on it. Other than that, it was great! They have two party rooms you can rent that look nice as well. Their menu has a lot to choose from (Pizza, Calzones, Pastas, Sandwiches, a salad bar & Desserts). I can definitely see a kids birthday/pizza party being held here or an event for work. I definitely recommend going to The Pizza Factory for lunch or dinner & taking the whole family along. read more

This is the first time I have ever been to a Pizza Factory. The dining room is bright, clean, and spacious. There is an arcade area for kids. The staff greeted me with a smile. Their pizza menu is eclectic. They also make calzones. I ordered their version of a combination pizza. I was told my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. I did some grocery shopping. When I returned my pizza was ready. When I opened my pizza box I was happy with the presentation. The crust was nice and crisp, not too thick. I was a little disappointed with the sausage, I expected it to have more flavor. I would definitely go back again, especially when it is close enough to walk to. read more

Pizza Factory - Small combination - Pizza Near Me - Gilroy, California

The pizza here was a disappointment. I ordered extra cheese on both pizzas, half pesto and half cheese and half awesome combo and half western bbq and it was super dry and looked like they over cooked or reheated pizza that was sitting out. Overly dry and the dough was chewy and not crispy. Will not be ordering from here again. read more

Disappointing. I went in about 12:30 and the pizza was old, but salad bar was good. They refused to make fresh pizza and just glared at me. On the TV they had some horofest going where everyone was covered in blood. Not sure what movie it was. I would have been far better off eating at Wendy's next door. Don't do the pizza buffet There's no excuse for any of this so the bad review. Update. When I had given up eating old pizza they eventually brought a new one out, but I was already angry and full of old pizza. read more

A high 3. Good food, ok atmosphere. Friendly and fast service. Probably best to get it to go. The garlic/cheese bread was good

Worst Customer Service Ever. Food isn't even here yet-but based on the LACK of customer service, LACK of kindness, and LACK of BASIC HUMAN DECENCY-it doesn't matter how good the food is, the unprofessionalism of the employee I spoke with on the phone (male-did not get his name-and I'm not speaking about all employees) is enough for me to never give this establishment my money. read more

Oh dear. I love the Pizza Factory in Salinas, but this is definitely not the same. The lasagna was a strange chewy consistency with cubed sausages with little to no seasoning and the sauce was an odd pasty layer. Needless the say the ravioli was equally bland. We threw both away. The wings, as you can see, were rubbery and greasy and while I think we ordered "Cajun" it just tasted like am chicken skin and salt. Saving grace was the Hawaiian pizza and super friendly staff. I don't think any GrubHub coupon will bring us back, although I did notice a Mortal Kombat arcade machine in the back, so perhaps post pandemic with enough beer we will attempt it. Most likely not. read more

I have been to many pizza places but dang this pizza is good. Damn good! Our family ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and three sodas. Our total only came out to about $25. I got to say that usually we spend a lot of money on games but we spent half that amount here because the games last long and are really fun. My kids loved it. Especially that Halo game ;) The sauce was excellent. Not too over powering or garlicy and a little sweet but in a good way. My favorite was the mozzarella cheese. Its soo thick and its 100% mozzarella. Its soo yummy. I had went to a pizza factory a long time ago and i was very happy with the combination. So ive been waiting for this pizza factory to open here in Gilroy, seems like to long lol. Welcome to Gilroy pizza Factory. We welcome you with open arms and hungry appetites :) This critic gives it a five star rating, so do my kiddos lol. Will be back soon. FYI the party room is fabulous. Great size and easy access. read more

Im pleased with this new pizza joint and they have the best customer service around hands down. They always give some extra time over for the buffet time which includes potatoe wedges and tons of salad toppings. Its quite a seen. Also have soup available with your all you can eat order. The pizza is great and the sodas have free refills. Definitely my family's new spot to eat. No matter what time of day. There are plenty of games too for the kids. They really enjoyed themselves. I really think this place is going to be a big hit so maybe the owner should think about putting in more tables. read more

The older man who I believe is the owner is very rude, not only to customers but also his employees. Not only is he rude, he made faces and talked under his breath the whole time, my family was very uncomfortable eating there. But we had already paid for our very expensive food, and wanted to watch the game so we stayed. The food was good, except for the chicken Alfredo, that was disgusting. But we won't be returning. He really shouldn't be in the food business with the attitude he has. read more

I've been wanting to try Pizza Factory since I've they've been building it and tonight I finally had the chance. I based my choice of toppings tonight by the previous reviews and I'm not too disappointed. I must say that the pepperoni was a little too greasy for my liking but the Hawaiian did NOT disappoint. I kinda wish I got a larger pizza (we ordered a medium between two people). The chicken wings were pretty lousy. I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks forward to big chicken wings but they were small and not much meat. The picture will explain it all. Would I go back? Yes! Probably not my first place to get my pizza fix but definitely worth trying. I spent $27.25 for a medium pizza and 10pc chicken wings. read more

This was our first shot at trying out Pizza Factory and that first shot guaranteed we will be regulars, and often. The toppings on our combo pizza were more than if I had ordered extra elsewhere. It was absolutely loaded to the point that each time we grabbed a slice we did the sausage swoop in the box to pile on the load that rolled off of the pile. To top it off the young lady that delivered our lunch was an absolute cheerful delight. If you're looking for a top-notch, loaded pizza you'll find it here. Thanks! read more

Decided to check out Pizza Factory in Gilroy. We had the buffet. The pizza is ok. The salad bar is limited in options. But for $10 per person, you can't really complain. We decided to order the breadsticks. What a mistake!! They are described as garlic butter sprinkled generously with parmesan. More like doused in butter and caked with the parmesan. Flavors were too strong! And WAY too greasy! My kids spit it out of their mouths! And these are teenagers that usually eat anything that isn't nailed down! Really disappointed. read more

Very good, consistent pizza. Get the thick crust, it is always well done and very cooked, no gooey center. The toppings are fresh and the service is fast. Great place to get some pizza during the day read more

First time here and really enjoyed the lunch buffet. It is a good value and includes pizza, soup, salad bar, potato wedges and drink for under $11. A decent pizza that is similar to Mountain Mikes. Nice crust and a variety of flavors of pizza were available on the warmer to choose from, and large TV's every where to enjoy a sports game. Clean and spacious location, we will return!! read more

This was my first visit. Our team had a banquet and there was plenty of room for our group. The room was spacious and off to the side of the main restaurant with closing doors so we could hear our coach give out awards. The restaurant is VERY clean! Our kids attacked the awesome soft drink machine; ya know one that you can push a button and add flavors to your choice of soda. There were spills and the staff cleaned them up right away. Our pizzas were delicious! So were the chicken wings. The crust was not too thin and not too thick. Generous amount of pizza toppings. The restaurant was very clean, bathrooms also. It was a Saturday and there were many people working. Our food came out quickly. Good choices of craft beer. Great prices! Three big TVs! We will go back again read more

Update: another positive experience. Pizzas made well and the sauce was light as requested. We appreciate it! Update: We decided to order again last night and made sure to repeat our specifications multiple times while ordering (LIGHT sauce). I must say, our pizzas were A LOT better than they have been the last few times we have ordered. My daughter who usually refuses to eat pizza factory actually ate the pizza this time, and I didn't have to scrape off any excess sauce- which I really appreciated. The wings were good too. We didn't end up throwing any food away, which is a win in my mind. I'm not 100% ready to give the fourth and fifth stars back, but they definitely earned their three stars back. We will continue to patronize this establishment and if I see that we continue to get quality food, I will absolutely update my rating as time goes on. I definitely feel like management communicated issues to employees and that the issues are in the process of being remedied which is awesome! read more

My family loves this place so we eat here a lot. The food is tasty, the interior is clean and accuracy is almost always perfect. I personally prefer when we dine in as opposed to take out because their food is best when fresh out of the oven. The underside of the pizza is crisp and the crust is soft. My children enjoy playing the few games they offer in the arcade although I wish they had more. read more

In trying to satisfy our pizza craving, we decided to give Pizza Factory another shot and support this business during the pandemic. As from previous experiences with them, their delivery remains prompt and the orders were accurate. The pizzas were definitely better than the last time we had their food and appears this location has upped their game. We were satisfied with our order and appreciated the fact that they sealed our pizza boxes for extra peace of mind. I would feel good about ordering from them again. We used the Pizza Factory app to place our order. The app was user friendly and easy to navigate through. read more

Been to many pizza factory restaurants before this one has to be by far the worst one I have ever been too manager who took my order couldn't even crack a smile looked mad /annoyed the whole time. This place is small and crowded kids running every where. Pizza was horrible order a bbq chicken pizza and it was basically a bbq sauce with a side of cheese, crust and like 5 pieces of chicken it was so bad. And your bbq pizza is the only reason I like your pizza it was just disappointing all around will never return to this location read more

Great pizza here. We've been going to this chain for the last 20 years when we lived in Northern California. We believe it's the best pizza in Gilroy right now and are happy they opened one here. I think we've been here at least six times since they opened and they may have only been open for about three months. If you sign up online and use their app or texting you can get rewards and coupons which never hurts. Crust is great and so are the toppings. I don't think you can beat the price for the quality that you get. Also the interior is clean and a great place to host parties or get-togethers. Staff has always been nice and friendly when we are there for take out. read more

So glad I decided to order despite the low overall stars. Definitely the best pizza in Gilroy. Had the bbq chicken and it was so yummy. We also ordered a veggie and it was good but next time it's all bbq chicken. Pizza order 30 minutes late, rude when we called. They use to have a great delivery app but the one they have now stinks.

Pizza is very tasty little bit saucy, but it didn't matter. every time I go by the place is never packed today. I tried it. It was really good and if it holds up, it can be a local favorite in the long run.more locals should try it read more

Excellent pizza . The crust no e and sweet and sauce delicious. Got the cheese pie with the fresh basil put on after. Prices are very fair. Came here to check out this new pizza place with the kids and had a great first experience! The restaurant was super clean and inviting. We noticed they had a Lunch Buffet, so we decided to go with that. $10 for all you can eat pizza (several varieties), salad (lots of toppings), soup, and soda! The pizza was the best when it came out super fresh. There was so much cheese! They had three flat screen tv's playing sports, a kids game area (the kids enjoyed burning some quarters here), beer on tap, and a special events room! We'll definitely be back read more
