WORST BUSINESS EVER! I ordered a pizza with a expected delivery time of 1 hour - okay. After 90 minutes I called to get status - they put me on hold. 15 full minutes later they hung up and didn't even respond. I called again and would not allow them to put me on hold - they said they screwed up and made the wrong pizza and my pizza was just going in the oven - after 110 MINUTES! I asked politely for a refund - they refused. They told me to drive over and pick it up - I ORDERED DELIVERY! I told them I don't have a car, I need it delivered (hence delivery order). Solid lunch buffet for $8.99 Monday through Friday. They have salad, bread sticks, pizza and sweet cinnamon glazed for desert. Previously the cashier stated the drinks were included in the price but this time a different cashier stated it was separate. It also took them about 40 minutes to make wings that we ordered. My boyfriend and I wanted an easy but delicious dinner on Black Friday and ended up at Round Table and I am glad we did. We ordered a pizza, garlic bread and a salad to share. Since we decided to just stay and eat the owner let us make our own salad at the salad bar and help ourselves. The salad and all the toppings were fresh and delicious and just what we wanted. The pizza and bread came out pretty quick and it was delicious. We of course couldn't eat it all and we were offered a box to take the rest with us. I haven't been to Round Table since it switched locations but I am more than glad we did. The owner was really nice and more than welcoming. We definitely will be coming back. read more

I haven't given a score like this in awhile. Sit back...here goes my explanation. So we ordered two pizzas to be delivered. One vegetable and one sausage and mushroom. It seems like a simple order but when it came there was one vegetable and one cheese pizza. We called the store and sure enough we had made a mistake in our online order but the guy said he would send another one out. Perfect. We waited for 30 minutes and nothing came so we called and the owner, Chris, would not give us a word as she lectured us and told us that it was our fault and it didn't matter if we we ordered the correct one we'd have to come and pick it up if we wanted it. Fine. I traveled the two miles in the rain to pick it up and came home to my new pizza. Opened it....and there it was...the cold cheese pizza that was delivered earlier that evening. So I called Chris back and she literally asked me, "are you sure it's a cheese pizza?" it took a little bit of debate but she finally gave in to returning my money. I'm hoping ace and I don't have to argue anymore. She earned 2 stars because the pizza is after all pretty good but it is really sad that the owner debated in this way and even when she explained why she handed me the wrong pizza in person, she blamed it on and employ by saying it must have been a senior that I hired. I have visited Round Table twice this week, and had consistently bad service. Both times the team parent ordered the pizzas for the team right when they arrived. Parents then ordered their own meals. Both times on two different nights they forgot about the team pizzas and only fulfilled the paid pizza orders, rather than the team pizzas. The owner did not seem all that sympathetic or understanding, and it was the young employees that were more apologetic. On the first team party, I also asked for a to go pizza box, which was clearly used before. The inside of the box was all greasy. The response from the owner was that it happens sometimes? Seriously? Reused pizza boxes? I gave the place the benefit of the doubt the second night. We all have a bad day. But, when our pizzas did not come again, with the same customer service and chaos, I felt it was important to leave a yelp review. The reason I'm giving one star is because there is no way to give zero. Ordered time is 7:15, estimated delivery time is 8:20-8:30, but it never arrive. The first time I call the restaurant is at 8:30, they told me the food is ready already but the delivery guy from grubhub hasn't come in. I called gradhub right after, they said the restaurant has the food ready at 8:35 and the delivery guy can send it to me at 9:30pm. So ended up I go pick it up by my self. For the entire progress, grabhub basically like "we are sorry but there isnt anything we can do other than make a phone call" this restaurant is like :" not our fault." If I could give negative 5 stars I DEFINITELY would. The owner is absolutely the worst. The lady(owner) doesn't know how to run a business. We ordered 1 medium veggie and 1 medium all meat marvel. Usually when there's a deal, they'll tell you. The deal was 18.99 for a large but she didn't say and charged normal price of 21.99. but you know what, we didn't sweat it too much. We waited about 45min. Still no pizza. We went up to ask. She said she hasn't even made them yet. WTF!!! My hunger level is about to go over the top. We asked why it hasn't been made, she said that since one of the employees called in sick, they're short staffed and that's why it's slow. Well HELL! Go back there and hustle, double time it, and make that pizza. She then said, Sorry. You know how it is when people are sick. In a sarcastic voice, I said. "Mm hmm oh yea I totally get it." I'll just start off by saying this isn't the first bad experience with the diamond bar round table I have had. And also I genuinely enjoy their pizza. But this past experience I had with them warrants a post. I called in a delivery order on Friday at 6pm. I was told 40-45 minutes, which was fine. I understand that it's Friday night. So 7pm I get a phone call saying that "they had trouble running my gift card from when I ordered". And that I would "have to come down and pay". That's ridiculous! I'm not driving down there to pay for a delivery pizza order. So after talking to the manager they ran my gift card and said they will deliver it within 8 minutes. 15 minutes later the delivery guy shows up. He proceeds to give me some excuse that they are swamped and my order took longer than I thought. What order for 1 pizza and 6 wings takes 1 hour and 15 minutes?!?! So after giving my food to me, I politely said "thank you and have a good night". He proceeds to stand there waiting for a tip! After a few seconds of extremely uncomfortable silence, he says "yup" with a blank and pissed off expression and leaves. First of all, no tip is required. And when it takes 1 hour and 15 mins for a pizza, I'm definitely not tipping. You should never stand there and expect a tip. Extremely rude. And to top it off, my pizza had the wrong toppings. This location is a joke. Never had a good experience here. Never spending a dime here again. I'll stick with Pizza Hut. read more

Do Not Bring Sport Teams here. After 3 opportunities at this new location the owners continue to provide consistently poor service and 5/10 food. Each time they are consistent with long wait, unable to multi-task, slow. Having worked at a pizza parlor myself, the system owners conduct themselves only makes the customer suffer with ineffeciencies and delays. The cash register is only allowed to be manned by the female owner who has to manage the salad bar and cups. If she or male owner was quick, it would make sense but her delivery and English is elementary and slow. Making 2 week reservation and following up on the day of, the female manager was confused with making a new reservation. Failure to listen. "Hi, I"m calling about my Team reservation today and...." "Yes we have room, what time would you come in?" "730PM but I already...." "Sorry but there is another team here if you don't mind" The change machine would only break $5 & $10. I stood in a 3-person line that took 11-minutes to break my $20s for the kids to play. When I got to the front, owner was under pressure with all the orders and needed to input in the computer how much I was giving her to get the same $$$ back. This was a on Thursday night with a line of my 3 parents. The staff in the kitchen was good and there were 3 guys and male owner back there. If the owner doesn't know how to operate, then the workers are to fend for themselves. The good alternatives are Barros Pizza and even Chuck E Cheese. Food is 2x better @ Chuck E C & 7x better at Barros. Service is 10x better. Avoid Round Table on busy and non-busy days or simple Monday-Sunday. Come here to waste your money, your time, your reputation in exchange for below average food. We have ordered from here on several occasions with no issues. We would order more often but the prices are very expensive. Our normal pizza place was closed for the holiday so we thought we'd order from round table. I placed my order at 5pm and was told it would take an hour. Fine, an hour is fairly normal. When it had been and hour and 20 minutes, I called to inquire about the status. I was assured it was in the way but they could give me no timeframe as to when I could expect it. I hung up and waited another 25 minutes and still had no pizza. I called back and was told they thought the driver had left 30 minutes ago. I immediately asked to cancel my order because waiting an hour and 45 minutes is unacceptable. I was placed on hold while they talked to the manager. When they got back on the line, I was told the only way to cancel my order was to refuse it when the driver showed up. Apparently the manager would have had to call the driver to stop them but he was "too busy". If it takes almost 2 hours for delivery, say it is going to be 2 hours so we have a reasonable time expectation. This was a horrible experience and we will never be returning. Let's just hope I actually get my money back. read more

Came here twice for the buffet during lunch time I came back the 2nd time to give then a 2nd try no good.The buffet price is good but they don't always have all the different pizzas out or they run out of twisty breads or potato wedges they only put like 6 breads then they run out and take like 30 minutes to bring out 6 more pieces same withe the potato wedges. We tried the lunch buffet a found it to be very good for $7.99. The salad bar was more than ample & the pizza was hot and fresh with a good variety. The only thing I had a problem with was reaching the back row containers of the salad bar. read more

Not bad for a $7.99 all-you-can-eat pizza and salad. The place is a new location with new interior. The buffet set up is next to the register and kitchen window. The meat pizzas are a bit salty but otherwise ok. The vegetarian pizza is good. The potato salad looked like its from Costco. read more
