On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. I have pictures of all of it. He moved my stuff in a stolen shopping cart from the Wegman's because he forgot his moving carts. He charged me $950.00 extra for a second truck which was supposed to carry my stuff to storage. I reminded him at 6:15 PM the night before to bring the truck as it was in our agreement. He never brought the truck and he charged me for the truck. He claims I said the money was for his guys. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF A CUSTOMER TIPPING AN IDIOT MOVER AN EXTRA $950.00 for breaking things? Taking that money is a violation of the contract and is fraud. The men were tipped before they left according to the guidelines he gave me by phone. I even called the night before to ask his tipping policy. Owners do not get tips. I left $120.00 in cash for the 3 men. So, their tip was $1,070.00 according to Dan. What an idiot! He also yelled at me for calling him the night before to see if he was coming. It was 6:15 PM and he had not sent me the contact information he was supposed to send for the next day. In Massachusetts I have had to hire Task Rabbit to remove the broken furniture from my apartment including a bed that was handcarved by a member of my family several generations ago and an antique sofa made by my great grandfather. I also had to hire a second mover today to remove all of the items marked STORAGE that he left in my apartment in the loft. There are also still three boxes in my house in PA that he forgot to pack. Apparently, he used them as a doorstop and forgot the boxes. There are also two important paintings missing. Every item was color coded and there was a list of directions and maps of the complex. He complained he should have charged me extra because it was such a long walk. Has anyone ever heard of a mover complaining for three hours because he has to carry things? His responses actually show that he also cannot read, write or follow directions. Stay away!! I demand my insurance claim forms. I paid extra for additional insurance. Apparently, he does not have ANY!!

In two days I sat in a chair while they went completely through every nook and cranny in my home and with my direction divided all of my furniture and belongings into 3 groups- things I would keep, things they would donate, and trash which will be removed when I have the whole house emptied. They worked non-stop and clearly labeled all of the items that I would take. They offered sound advice on what I should bring but didn't dictate their opinion.
