I've used 1800 Got Junk three times, twice in the last few months…read more I can't really speak to whether their prices are high or not - they seem reasonable to me as someone who would otherwise have to haul the stuff from a second floor place and then pay to have the trash people take it. That's just a pain. I haven't had problems with no-shows. One time I did book within 24 hours and it was a little more confusing b/c I didn't receive the confirmation so I had to call to confirm. That time they also showed up toward the end of the scheduled time slot, but I was also at the end of the afternoon. Most recently, the guys (Tyreek and Colby) actually came early! Keep in mind that they charge by how much of the truck your stuff fills up. They may have a floater truck if you fill up the whole truck and need more space, but I wouldn't assume that when you book. Also, I don't assume they will necessarily remember everything I point out to get taken especially if it's scattered, so I do walk around and make sure the right things are going. They will often ask you again also - I don't mind, I think it's good. Anyway - they've been so helpful for me especially cleaning out my apartment. I don't know how I'd have done it otherwise.

They also failed to use cones or a traffic barricade to block off the street which would have prevented a massive line up of traffic. Instead of driving around the block to start over (and maybe put cones out to prevent people from driving up the block), they just flipped off the residents who were stuck in the traffic. Was contacted more than 3 hours ahead of my original appointment by the employees and told they could either come then (3 hours early) or reschedule; I had to reschedule because I was at work at that time. Flash forward to my rescheduled appointment, and they never showed up. Contacted the help-line 4 separate times to get an ETA (waiting at least 30mins between each call to be courteous) and ultimately waited more than an hour past my second appointment window. Called and spoke directly with the manager whom was supposed to contact the employees in the field. Manager had not contacted the employees and had no information on their expected arrival and suggested I reschedule once again. This was not possible because I had to be out of the apartment fully on that day, so myself and family ended up disposing of the items ourselves. The manager did offer a discount, and I do not hold them personally responsible, but overall very unsatisfactory service. I would not recommend you use college hunks of Levittown if you are reliant upon them arriving as scheduled for whatever services you need; it's possible (if not likely) they will leave you high and dry as they did with me. And yes, I know for certain this is the correct service location, as I confirmed it with the manager directly over the phone.
