Clean salon- very , very nice people working here. SNS manicure looks amazing and reasonably priced. Happy.
UPDATE:
Sadly, I have to drop this review down from a five star review to a one star review for pretty much the same reason I've had to give poor reviews to other nail salons.
A serious decline in service.
I am dropping this review after three poor experiences here in a row, The last one being the straw that broke the camels back.
I wrote my initial review 5- 6 months ago and have been coming to this nail salon ever since.
In order to see the technician I want I have to make an appointment because she is always busy. I don't have a problem with this as long as appointment times are adhered to and respected. They are not at this salon.
First bad experience, I came in at my schedule to appointment time to find that my technician bought her three-year-old son to work. I love children I think they are adorable however for me time is money and I cannot afford to spend three hours in a salon to have a manicure, unfortunately this is exactly what happened.
When I sat down her son was calm looking at videos on her phone sitting beside her. Children have needs, they cannot tend to themselves, they also become fidgety. It is not their fault they are simply being children. During the course of an SNS manicure which would usually take one hour or less, Technician stopped multiple times, too many times to count to get her son to stop climbing on the chair, to stop touching the utensils and chemicals, to reset whatever he was watching on the phone etc. etc. Then there were times when she left me sitting there all together for 10 and 15 minutes at a stretch so that she can go feed him, go change his clothing, take him to the bathroom etc. Not once did you apologize nor was I offered a discount which honestly they should've knocked 10% off of the manicure considering how much of my time was wasted there. It was the first bad experience so I decided to Get over it and go back. The second not so great experience was with another technician because my usual one was not there. I got the chrome SNS manicure which is more expensive than the regular SNS manicure along with two nail repairs. The two nail repairs looked awkward and were rough around the edges Continuously snagging on things until they eventually both broke two weeks later. The manicure did not look at all like the sample nails they had. In the sunlight there were bare patches on the nail where she should've applied more of the product. Not a stellar experience but not enough for me to say I would never go back there. Figured I'd just stick with the girl I usually stick with and make sure to make the next appt with her.
My appt was for 10 AM I got there at 9:58. The employees and owner were sweeping mopping putting out towels setting up. Stuff that should be done before customers start walk in. it looks more professional and would allow them to take people for their appt times rather than having myself and another customer sitting on the couch waiting. Finally at 10:15 The owner said "you get SNS? OK sit down to soak." I got up from the couch and went to the table, my tech still not there. The owner gave me some acetone to soak my nails and hands in, My tech walked in at 10:20 as chipper as chipper could be. Because she was so friendly I decided to just deal with her lateness and not let it affect me. She didn't apologize for being late. Again it is now 1020. She got up and walked into another room I was still sitting there with my fingers in the acetone at 10:32. She ducked her head out of the room to call someone in to have their eyebrows done. As I'm sitting there waiting. With my hands and nails in harsh chemicals. With a 10 o'clock appointment. At 10:45 she still hadn't come out of the room I decided to take my business elsewhere.
No respect for the time of their clients. Unprofessional and disrespectful. there is no reason they should have your nails and fingers in acetone for that long. Soak for five minutes then you should be attended to someone should come over and start filing away what's softened, place them back in the acetone for another five minutes and that second Filing should pretty much take everything away. No need to have your fingers in acetone for 20 minutes. They've done this to me before and it's a way for them to buy time. Never again. My hands were completely dry and flaking and my nails were weekend due to being in the acetone that long. I am attaching two photos with the review. My opinion is look elsewhere. Plenty of other salons in the area that will actually give you a back rub after a manicure Or stick to appointment times or at the very least not bring their kids to work. Utterly ridiculous. read more
