Ken looked around where the smell might be coming from he proposed a smoke test to be sure where the problem might be coming from. No work has been he has to come back when he has another team member and not as windy. Hopefully when he comes back the problem will be solved for good. He was curtious explained my options well. We just bought a home and the water heater started having issues immediately after getting all of our services on. The warranty sent out Roto-Rooter, and both Ken and Ronnie were both punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. We ended up having the water heater replaced, and Ronnie made sure everything was put in perfectly. Would definitely call them again if we had another plumbing issue! read more

Recently had them pump our septic tanks. Great customer service and quality work. We have only been in our house 3 years and a previous company who shall remain nameless certified our tank before we moved in. Little did we know we had two tanks. Rotor Rooter advised us that based on the size of the house that company should have known that there was two. I would highly recommend Rotor Rooter they are honest and provide quality work, I will use them again for sure when need. Since then have used them for a few other issues and they are quick to respond and reasonable. read more

So we called the Rooter due to a full tank of poo. After reading all of the other local plumbing reviews it seemed that they all had the same thing in common. A lot of good reviews with some one star reviews about bad customer service or overcharging for services. From what I was seeing they all seemed the same and that wasn't helping in our decision. We ended up calling the Rooter simply because of the classic jingle.... "call Roto Rooter that's the name and away go troubles..... down the drain" well we hit brown gold with these guys ! Not only did they immediately send someone out "thank you Jose'" but big Joe came right after with the poo pumper and cleaned out our brown trout tank in no time flat. The price for everything was reasonable and the service was superb. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone with poo problems of any kind. read more

Charging too much money for a 10 min job. Just to run a snake was $175.00. Tried to negotiate to $150.00 was told no. Glad he turned me down found Negen who did it for $58.00. read more

I have used RotoRooter several times for various calamities and maintenance. They have always been very friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and finished each job in shorter times than expected. Appreciate they give an estimate up front and have never exceeded the amount quoted, but many times lessened it. Technician David Fonseca is excellent! read more

I am so greatful for the two gentlemen who came and fixed my mom's toilet. (Ronnie) They were fast, efficient and stuck to their quote. They were on time, did not leave one bit of a mess. I would call them again in a heartbeat. read more

Well, my shower stopped turning on. I called a plumber out of the phone book (not roto rooter) and I had to wait two days. Then they called me the day they had scheduled with me and canceled and said next week. I was angry. So I googled other plumbing services and Roto Rooter came up. I set up an appointment online for the next day because I had to work. I received a courtesy call before Ronnie showed up. I was quoted a price right away and I accepted. Work was done and now my shower literally works better than ever. Water pressure is better, looks nicer, I'm very happy. And Ronnie was a really nice guy. Thanks Roto Rooter! read more

Ken Woods was our tech that came out. He was so nice and went above and beyond what we needed. Our kitchen faucet was replaced including hooking up our garbage disposal (whom initial plumbing crew-NOT Roto-Rooter failed to do several years ago). We will continue to use Roto-Rooter service for future projects. Office staff is kind and considerate when you call and are available 24/7 even during COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks for your humor and hard work. read more

I had a water heater leak and have never needed a professional plumbing service. I had always heard about Roto-Rooter from tv commercials, but thought thet would be too expensive. I called anyway and was given a very good price and the two technicians I had were very fast and got the job done right. Thank you to Rex and David for doing a great job!!! read more

We had a slab leak and we called Roto-Rooter who sent Ken Woods to check it out. Ken came over, was very nice and pretty much knew where it was and quoted us a very decent price. He was also very patient until we decided to go ahead and have him do the job. The day he came, he brought over another associate to help, Michael. Both of these gentlemen were very professional and knowledgeable and completed the job in great time! I highly recommed Roto-Rooter! read more

This is the second time I have had to use Roto-Rooter. And I was very pleased both times. Last year I had my house connected to the City sewage line and I called Tom at Roto-Rooter, he's the owner and he came out gave me an estimate. I was ok with what he was going to charge and he told me when he could start, Tom had men here in the next few days. It took about a week with inspections and they where finished. Cleaned up well, and I had to call them again for a toilet problem on today, David came he was here maybe 45 mins, had my toilet fixed and he was on his way. And I was happy. THANKS ROTO-ROOTER. Roto Rooter did an awesome job unclogging my floor drains in my restaurant. We made the mistake of calling another plumber that just came up in google search and couldn't do the job; NEVER again! Wonderful experience. As always, a plumbing issue on the weekend. Roto Rooter came first thing Monday morning and quickly figured the problem out, resolved it and back in working order. They left everything neat and cleaned up. A shout out to Nic, our plumber, he was very polite, personable and efficient. Well done. Thank you and highly recommend Roto Rooter. read more

The plumber assigned to our home was very thorough and productive. He was extremely professional and honest. We were very disappointed with their service. They claimed that they pumped and inspected the septic tank. They gave us quote to replace the tank, which was very high. We had 2 other companies come out and estimate the cost to replace. Roto-Rooter was twice as much to do it. when the company came out to replace the septic tank was almost full. We did not have any problems with the leech lines or septic tank for 21 years and they tell us that the tank failed which we knew it would as it was original to the house and that the leech lines failed and if that were the case we would have had problems with overflow long before now, as in one week the tank was almost full with one person living in a one bedroom with no laundry and showers once a week. They said they have documention that they pumped and disposed and yet its their word against ours, and no way to prove. $575 to pump and inspect and then another $300 to pump prior to removing septic tank. This company is a rip off. On line they say "free estimates", when I called they told me a minimum of $284.00 just to show up a take a look. Buyer beware! read more

Ken was amazing! We had an appointment with another company, where the guy was late. We called Roto-Rooter instead and Ken arrived within the hour. He was friendly and efficient. Provided a fast fix and great customer service. read more

Although the service response was very fast, the price estimates are a bit pricey. It costs $79 just for a diagnostic and the price goes up from there depending on the use of tools, equipment, and removal of toilet, etc...Besides that, I was satisfied with my service even though it only took five minutes to fix. read more

They did a horrible job on my septic tank removal and addition, they ripped out the grass, broke pipes on our sprinkler systems, threw the dirt everywhere and even in our drive way, left a mound of dirt, when the dirt/grass were level, when I called they said if it's not in the work order we are not doing it or fixing anything. Worst customer service I have ever had, would have given them 0 stars if that was the option. I would not recommend this company to anyone read more

Was disappointed after all of the good reviews. Called in the morning and was told I would receive a callback when they were able to set a time. By 3 PM I still hadn't heard from them, so I called another plumber. At 5 PM one of their guys showed up, no call. I had to leave for an appointment, but my wife was home, and informed the gentleman that since we hadn't heard back, we secured someone else to do the job. She said he was, in her words, "pissed". All we needed was better communication! I would suggest that in the future you would give a 'courtesy call' if you are extremely backed up. Update: received a phone call and apology this AM, which was appreciated. I upgraded them to 3 stars for trying to make things right. read more

I called because of the reviews I read. A plumber came out within 3 hours. Unfortunately I need a new water heater. I wasnt sure if it was true. When I asked if if was something we could do at home he was honest and said yes. I will for sure call back for any other issues and refer them to anyone who asks. read more

My husband and I went through our home warranty company and was referred to a horrible company. We then decided to forego our warranty and call Roto Rooter after three days of no hot water. Ronnie came out and diagnosed our unit. He was thorough with his explanation of diagnosis and his options of repair. We decided to replace the hot water heater was not pressured into it. Ronnie had my home back up and running with a new hot water heater in less than 24 hours. No more showering in the RV or boiling water to wash baby bottles!!! Thank you Ronnie; you are an angel!!!! read more

Called and spoke to Barbara, she told me the price for an angle stop replacement was $277 ($52 more than the other company, but they had already no-showed) and someone would be dispatched promptly. I asked her "can you please call me when you have an approximate eta to my home. It's 8:30 at night and i already had one company cancel on me." She assured me she would. An hour later after no phone call AT ALL i called to cancel my appointment. I felt moderately bad for her when she said she was new at the job and assumed that the technician would call when they had a time, but i'm the one with the leaky toilet at 9 pm, so my sympathy levels were depleted for the day. The "office manager" called my cell back 20 minutes later leaving a voicemail asking what they could do to gain my business......... Um, how about having someone call me back within an hour and actually coming out to my house. Don't advertise an after hour service if you can't deliver. read more

Had a leak at the back of my fridge, called Roto Rooter expecting an appointment in a few days, maybe the following week. They scheduled me for 8 am the next day. Great company. I use them for all my plumbing needs. I am a property manager and this office is reliable and fair priced.

I live in the Antelope Valley and when I call Roto Rooter Im not sure where they come from certainty doesn't say on the invoice. The phone number that called me looked like Victorville. I had used these people before for yard leaks and drain problems. This time I had an attic leak. They wanted to send the restoration guys also I declined. After the guy came out and saw there was minimal damage he called the restoration guys right out. Everything they had to say revolved around frauding MY insurance company. The plumber, Tony, replaced a plastic ice maker tube in the attic for $485.00. way over priced. Although he had a long enough piece of tubing he was too lazy to replace the tube all the way to the ice maker, and left the extra in the attic. meanwhile the other 2 guys decided to demo the entire kitchen over approximately a 3 foot square wet spot, going on and on about the insurance company will cover all this and I will have a new kitchen. They proceeded to demolish my kitchen without closing off the kitchen from the rest of the house and when they tore our my ceiling all the insulation and debris flew all over my house, covering everything. Claimed they only had 1 truck to haul the trash with it took 2 weeks of allowing the stuff to blow all over my yard before they came to pick it up what was left in the pile. when they called for payment I explained the extensive dissatisfaction I had experienced over the month long kitchen ordeal. they refuse to cover the cleaning I was left with. The only thing they wanted to do was have the same guys come and deep clean my house. I refused to have them back as I have already been cleaning everything myself. Part of the contract I don't recall seeing covered clean up...since they did almost no cleanup I feel I need to be reimbursed. I WILL NEVER CALL THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. BEWARE IF THEY TRY AND GET THE RESTORATION TEAM IN... read more
