I am so grateful when I moved to Hesperia in 2005 I saw a Johns truck and remembered them when I needed them. I can honestly tell you I have never met a more trustworthy business than Johns. They stand behind their work, offer good prices for top quality work and they are there when you need them. A few years back when I had a massive water leak in my wall I called them in a panic and Joe was at my house in less than 30 minutes preventing damage to my drywall, my new floors and most importantly prevented any mold. Today I had my 16 year old water heater replaced with a tankless water heater, had two toilets replaced and a faucet replaced. Joe and his apprentice went above and beyond to get my family taken care of. They took all of the health precautions necessary to deal with COVID and while installing one of the toilets found a problem due to shoddy workmanship by the builder could have resulted in a massive problem. Joe came in, diagnosed the problem, and came up with a quick solution. Again...this level of service isn't something you find much anymore. They removed them, then found out they were so tied into the plumbing that we mostly needed new pipe work if we wanted reliable heated water in the house. So I called because my hot water heater was draining from the overflow, concerned that the tank may be under pressure and not being home to fix it (my girlfriend was home) I called Johns to fix it. They were fast getting there and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. However, they quoted my girlfriend 250 dollars to replace a part that costs 30 dollars at home depot and were indeed already replacing it before she could call me about the cost. When she did get me on the phone with them they were pretty much done. I asked them how much the part was and why it was so expensive and the techs response was "I don't know we just grab it from the warehouse"..... Right. Then he said he'll drop the price from 270 to 250... How can he drop the price or even give an accurate price if he "doesn't know" how much it costs in the first place! And replace some faucet cartridges in the other bathroom. He charged my Dad $650. Way, way over priced. I had to call him back. I was nice to him. I had him come back and ream out the drain in the Master Bath bath tub. I should of asked for a refund and gone elsewhere to auger the bath tub. Surprisingly, when I first used him the week before they charged my Dad $650 to install a new sink, and garbage disposal and faucet. I thought that was fair. That is why I called him back to do the toilet. Moral of the story, get a price quote before he does work. read more

Unbelievably professional fair priced and honest. I could leave them in my house and not have to worry. They came in found the cause of my mysterious sudden flooding of my living room. My elderly Hispanic landlord called to get information about quotes and wasn't responding in the manner John needed or quickly enough, so I called to get information. I explained the situation to him and he explained to me she (my landlord) didn't want to give him the information and she was giving him a whole book of information and he had 20 other calls on the line and then swore in the process! The first issue that I needed resolved for my house was a new regulator installed at the street level. Since the original homeowner tied into the main water line at the street for his sprinkler systems, it caused most if not all hose bibs and sprinkler valves to leak. I called Johns plumbing, they came out the next day as stated, Joe showed as said, installed a new shut of valve and regulator in quick timing. That same day, I had Joe look at my garbage disposal as it was not working, he took it apart finding a complete clog. He replaced the garbage disposal quickly and with quality. Joe was nice, honest, straight forward and most of all did a fantastic job. Since Joe was so fantastic, I called Johns plumbing again a few days later after I attempted to change out the refrigerator value. Thinking it was simple I ended up twisting the pipe. Being a Sunday and John spending the day for his daughters birthday he asked if it was leaking, I said no, so he said is it ok for him to come out the next day. I completed understood and said sure. He came out Monday morning, installed a new valve and charged me more than fair price. I would not hesitate with calling them back for more of my future mistakes. Our pressure regulator blew and another plumber was paid to fix it when it blew again. John's plumbing came out the same day and let us know that the first "plumber" had installed the regulator upside down! My mom (72) had a leak in the water main leading to her house. I dug up her flower bed and found the leak about 2 feet under ground and called John because of his YELP reviews. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon and since it was winter time figured he would come out the next day since it would be dark soon. John said he could be out in a couple of hours. He showed up an hour later and got to work and using a flashlight was finished before 6:00 pm. Since we had a lot of clay in the soil surrounding the pipe, he suggested we use sand to fill in the hole to cover the pipe because when/if it froze it would be better protected. We had some sand in our yard about 200 yards away and he offered to help us carry it up on n 5 gallon buckets. They where heavy and I appreciated the help. He was quick and friendly and I will definitely call him again as I'm sure we will need more plumbing help in the future. His price was reasonable too. read more
