My water heater failed over the weekend.(HARD TO TAKE A SHOWER WITHOUT HOT WATER -- ASK MY DOUGHTER), I called Fairway and they scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. I looked at the heater myself and I knew that it was over 15 years old and making thumping noises. I decided to call back and ask for a replacement heater. The tech, Nick, showed up with heater and all parts about two O' Clock. Very hot day and within 2 and a half hours the heater was replaced. I ask a lot of questions and he answered all of them. Very quick and installed with the new state installation requirements. Contact Fairway Plumbing and Drain Cleaning! 760-951-6909. They will treat you right. p.s. Once again, fairway to the rescue. They are great. Been dealing with them for years. Will not call anyone else for plumbing needs!

I have been using Derek with Fairway Plumbing for years. Derek has always been very diligent and honest with the work that he does and fair with his pricing. Best plumber around. I am sure he will be fair and honest with you, as well. read more

We have used Derek of Fairway plumbing for a long time now. He does excellent work. He is always professional and friendly. The work he has done for us includes a major repair on a water heater, snaking pipes to clear clogs, and more. Most recently, his new worker, Nick, who is also an extremely experienced and excellent plumber, fixed a toilet and snaked a clog. Among the best things about this company is they're very fair and transparent in their pricing -- so different from many of the other plumbers and plumber companies out there. read more

I have now known Fairway plumbing for more years than I can accurately count. I would not call anyone else for any of my plumbing needs. Fairway demonstrates a high level of integrity...prices work fairly...do does what they say they will do in the time frame they say they'll do it...places emphasis on high quality outcomes...and has never left us with any cleanup after the fact. I trust their judgment and call for referrals when I need other types of work. I refer them always...including to my kids and their families. I can't imagine any other company or person leaving me more satisfied when plumbing challenges stress me out. Thanx Derek and company for always being there for us. Marty and Tandy read more

My water heater had a very low flow. I callled and he even FaceTimed me to help to see what the problem was. Very honest guy. I usually get 3 different quotes but after talking to him on the phone I knew he was it. Didn't even bother getting other quotes. Ended up ordering a new one since it's 15+ years old. It's time. Scheduled for Friday and he came on time. Good quality work. Very clean job. I would recommend anyone who needs their water heater replaced or serviced. read more

We called for a friend who needed a drain cleared. I appreciated being able to speak directly with the owner versus going through a corporate phone number. He arrived early and cleared the drain without pressuring for any upsells or additional services. Would call again! read more

Best possible plumbing experience. After noticing water seeping through the flooring in my hallway and bathroom I received estimates from multiple plumbers before being referred to Fairway Plumbing. The previous plumbers who came to my home went with the "worst case scenario" estimates, getting me as freaked out as possible about the extent of the damage, the scope of the repair, and of course the cost, which in every case was far more than Fairway ended up charging me. Plumbing repairs are not inexpensive, but there are many (local) plumbing contractors who will use scare tactics to get you to spend as much as they can squeeze out of you, preying on the assumption that you don't know anything about plumbing. When Fairway came out to assess the situation (slab leak), Derek found the problem, showed me where and what it was, gave me a couple of options, and made some suggestions. The repair was completed as discussed, reasonable time, clean job. The price for the job is the price for the job, no bullshit. Also, prior to the estimate appointment Derek gave me a tip that likely saved me a bunch of money on my water and gas bills while I was waiting for the repair. Not one tech from the other companies made that one simple suggestion, which is testament to the fact that Derek is a contractor with integrity. read more

Fairway Plumbing was fantastic from start to finish. When I needed my Hot Water Heater replaced due to age. Derek responded quickly and arrived right on time. He is professional and very knowledgeable... The pricing was completely transparent, he was way less than other Plumbers, with no up charges. Everything was included in the price. He will soon set 3 new toilet for me too. Happy to have found an Honest and great Plumber...Highly Recommend. read more

We called Derek with fairway after reading the reviews here on Yelp. My mother n Law had a leaking water heater for months and she never told us about it. We don't live near by her so it's always a challenge for us when she has a home repair issue. Derek was so nice and was willing to squeeze us in as a late afternoon appointment or an early Saturday morning. He quoted us a reasonable price over the phone sight unseen. Then he kept to that price after he arrived. He also gave me some advice on how to band-Aid the problem until he could arrive. I fully recommend this business to everyone looking for a plumber in this area. He won't rip you off. He's honest, thorough and on time !! We are happy to say she has got a plumber for life! read more

Derek was very professional and thoughtful in my time of need. He was not pressuring to use his company or trying to sell additional products. After having several hot water leaks under the slab, it was time to repipe my home. I got 2 other estimates that were many, many, many thousands of dollars more. Derek's team came in and repiped my home in one day. The next day a new crew drywalled, stuccoed, and textured. Both crews were very conscientious of keeping the dust at a minimum and keeping the carpets clean. They put up plastic and laid down tarps. Although it was stressful having my home repiped, I am so blessed that I chose Fairway Plumbing. Derek and his crews were great and their workmanship is the best. read more

I had water coming up out of the shower drain, into the bathtub from a clogged toilet. Called Derek and he returned my call the same day and was at my house the following day. This is an amazing plumbing company. Derek is a top notch pro. He is fair with prices and super knowledgeable. No one could find my house pressure gauge, but he found it in moments. We will ALWAYS return to Fairway. read more

Great service. Extremely fair pricing. Friendly, polite, helpful. High quality service. Answered all my questions. On Time.

I needed a high rise toilet installed for a friend that had broken her hip. I didn't have time to shop around. Her kitchen faucet was leaking and apparently had been for quite a while. Again, no time for shopping around. I had to spend my time helping my friend find a care facility as she is in advanced years without family. I sent photos and dimensions of both jobs and let Derek do his thing. Derek installed the new toilet and worked around and adapted the install to an improper flooring job so there were no issues with the toilet. The kitchen faucet was an old disaster and he had the fix and parts to make it right installing a shiny new faucet and sprayer. He even helped me to clean the countertop tile that had hard water deposits from the leaking old faucet. Fairway Plumbing is dependable, honest and VERY SKILLED. Derek is the Go-To plumber you've always wanted to have. read more

Friendly. Great work. We've been using there services for ourselves and extended family. The workers really hustle and are friendly and will answer your questions. Fixed everything right the first time. I would highly recommend them. read more

I contacted Derek less than 24 hours ago and explained I had a leak inside my wall. I had water leaking outside and inside my home. He scheduled me between 8 & 10 the next morning. He showed up about 30 minutes late, but, he had the courtesy and professionalism to let me know he was running late so it was not a huge deal. Upon arriving, he assessed the situation then thoroughly explained the pros and cons of my options. He did not push me in either direction and when I made my decision he quickly began working. While he was working he took the time to explain what he was doing and answer any questions I had. Lastly, the cost was reasonable. In all honesty, it was slightly less than I anticipated. Derek left the impression upon me of a hard working honest family man. I highly recommend Derek and Fairway Plumbing. read more

I have plumbing problems with my house built in 1985. I had been using Cisernos until yea I found Derek who was recommended by a retired plumber friend after Cisneros quote for a redo in my tub was $700 a year ago and after Covid $1500. That was it for me. Dereck called me back shortly after I left a message and we scheduled an appointment for Monday to fix two leaky toilets. I was only going to do one but the price was affordable that I was able to do both of them. He did a great job and went over what he did and had me make sure I was happy with the work. I just called him again today to see about doing a tub to shower conversion and he is coming out Tuesday. Dereck is honest, fairly priced (much less than Cisernos) and reliable. I highly recommend his work. Everyone needs a great plumber in their contacts and Fairway Plumbing fits the bill! read more

Fairway Plumbing is awesome! I had a very complex leak that needed to be fixed and was referred to Derek. He is an excellent plumber who is definitely an expert in his field. He successfully fixed my leak in one day for a fair price. He also cleaned everything up so nicely after he was finished and gave me a 1-year warranty on his work. I am highly satisfied with my experience with Fairway plumbing and would definitely recommend them to everyone!!! (I will also be using them again to have some new toilets installed soon). Five stars!!! :) read more

So we had leaking stem valves in our old shower. First plummer called (who will remain unnamed but has a catchy 50+ year old jingle) quoted my wife $800 to completely rebuild the valves because they were rusted out. Feeling she got the "housewife alone and doesn't know any better" treatment, we went looking for someone else. Fairway was referred to us by our AC guy. Hallelujah. Despite two trips for supplies (due to the age of our valves) he worked quickly and professionally. Was realistic about the condition of the valves and their prognosis over time. His estimate of costs was reasonable. In the end he charged A LOT LESS than the others without tearing it apart and rebuilding it. Would highly reccomend to others. read more

I was getting a serious run around from Sears service to fix my Kenmore water heater that still had a warranty. After waiting for 2 days for the tech to show up (didn't show up at all yesterday and hours late today) and then being told they were going to charge me $486 AND wait days for the parts And then wait who knows how long for the service guy to come back....I called my neighbor/plumber Derrick at Fairway Plumbing. He went to his van, came out with the new part and had it installed and working in less then 15min!!! And charged far less then Sears. Screw Sears and their so called "customer service", Call Derrick at Fairway! read more

Fairway Plumbing, Mr. Derek is very knowledgable & professional, has great work ethic, and communicates everything regarding expenses & procedures. His fees are fair, unlike other local plumbers. Since I discovered Fairway Plumbing, I have only called him for all my plumbing needs. He has repaired a leaking pipe on my water heater, provided his insight on why a vent had acquired a bit of moisture & he let me know what to do to prevent that. He also repaired a toilet flange that was never done properly to begin with when the home was initially built, and installed the new toilet. Mr. Derek personally handles all calls, inquiries, & everything that entails within the job site. I highly recommend Fairway! read more

I had a minor outdoor spigot leak so I did the Thumbtack thing. That was a mistake. I received one quote for $300. Then I remembered Fairway Plumbing who worked on a neighbor's house. I called Fairway and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Derek showed up early for the appointment. He replaced the leaking spigot in less than a half hour. He even put insulation on the spigot, which it did not have prior to him replacing the old one. Derek charged a very reasonable rate for the repair which was less than half of the $300 quote. I now have a go to plumber in Derek and I will always highly recommend him. Thank you Fairway. read more
