It is ridiculous to have to purchase items, go home and try them on, and then return the things I don't fit your clothing store; you need to have dressing rooms open. I've stopped in here a few times while visiting Dallas. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it so here I go now with our most recent trip. We came in because the line at TJMaxx was INSANE. We let our kids have $5 to buy a toy and there was NO WAY we were standing in the 25-30 person line over there so I came over to Ross... NO LINE AT ALL!!! Score! Selection here (and most Ross stores) can be hit or miss. Kids were able to find their inexpensive toys and we were in and out super quick. Staff were friendly. read more

I almost didn't check in due to the posted photos of the toilets, because who wants to look at that. Anywho, it was my 2nd store to look for a planner for 2019. I usually get one un the middle of December but was unsuccessful at finding something that spoke to me until I came in. There are always hidden gems at this location and I do mean hidden because you have to look through everything. The low prices are the only reason I go to Ross. The shopping experience is unpleasant at every Ross. This location is no exception. The clothing racks are very disorganized and out of order. The shoe sizes are all mixed up between themselves and the "clearance" section on the bottom shelf is never filled with clearance shoes. I feel lucky if I ever find something at Ross that I like that fits and that I like. This Ross really sets itself apart with an infestation. There were crickets, alive and dead, inside and outside, plaguing the store, crawling in between the racks and up the sides of the counters. read more

I was in the store today to do some shopping and when I went into the women's restroom it was the nastiest most unsanitary thing I've ever witnessed. I counted no less than three live cockroaches running around feces on the floor and all three of the toilets were overflowing with tissue. There was a hand written out of order on one of the Stalls and the other two had nothing. I almost felt like I wanted to throw up and I will never ever ever go to the store again read more

I actually really like Ross! I was once looking for a specific cell phone cover at TJ Maxx, but they didn't have it in the right size so I walked over to this Ross and found just what I was looking for PLUS cheaper! The same goes with frames, food, dog toys, etc. I'm grateful I have it around the corner. Overall, if you can't find what you're looking for at TJ Maxx, I think it's worth checking out Ross. Room for improvement: It could be prettier. Ross stores kind of have a clunky look to them. I think if it was nicer it would help attract more customers. Your service is nice and your prices are good so I think you just need better presentation. Sometimes they're messy, sometimes they're dirty. Upkeep could use a little boost. read more

Shop is ok but witnessed one of the security lady not letting us shop and kept following us the whole time, even took away my cart with selected clothes in it when I was shopping for luggage bag. This is the second time she followed us throughout the store just because I had a toddler with me, completely insulting. Wont be going back or buying anything from here again. Is this store fancy? No. I know some hoity-toity people who would not step foot in this store, even with it being located in Las Colinas. Too bad for them! I have been to other Ross stores, and this one by far is the nicest. I have walked out empty handed several times, but, boy, when I hit the jackpot, I really hit the mother load! Yes, there are some what I call "ho clothes" here and definitely some stripper f- me pumps shoes. Keep looking through the racks, I promise you will find some incredible deals! I have found some unbelievable prices on name-brand clothing, from Hilfiger to Calvin Klein. Both clothes for dress and for lounging at home. If you are looking for Dallas team clothing, this is also the place. Make a b-line to the clearance racks, where I have found Cowboys sweatshirts for the winter months. The lines at the register can be painful at times. I have never felt like it wasn't worth it, though. Just keep that in mind! read more

Okay...this is discount shopping at its finest. If you can get past the long lines here and the insanity that is parking I'm sure you will discover some gems at this location. They typically stay fully stocked with clothes and home goods. The prices for some of the items you really cannot beat anywhere and often times you will come across quality. But you do have to dig a little and spend time here to find what you are looking for. The staff is friendly and courteous. They can be a bit disorganized when they get busy though so try to catch them when it's not as crazy packed. I'd totally stay away on the weekends. read more

Am I missing something? This is a Ross people. We're not talking Neiman's or some other fancy store. It's Ross so you have to lower your expectations a bit. That being said, this is probably one of the nicest Ross stores I have ever visited. When you walk in you're greeted by a member of the Loss Prevention team. Then you take in the store and go browsing. On this particular visit, I was in search of back to school clothes for myself. I found a couple of cute, professional looking tops (aka no "Queen Bae" shirt for me) and a cardigan. Since it was tax free weekend, I even saved a couple of dollars. Waiting in line was a test of my patience as they had two cashiers for returns/exchanges and one cashier for purchases. What? That's cray, especially when you have 10+ people in line. They're definitely understaffed for sure. Plus, the lone cashier for purchases was making small talk. Ain't nobody got time for that. This Ross store is really nice because they have a decent selection of designer handbags, wide variety of clothes, and their housewares are decent quality as well. Items are not strewn about and you can actually find clothes and other things. While this is not the nicest store I've ever visited, it's a Ross and you can't hold them to a high standard. read more

Me and my African America friend came in with our luggage's from landing from Chicago and while entering this Ross location the lost prevention Asian or Filipino fella at the door attempted to follow my friend, but didn't. However when we were leaving the guy followed my friend out the door stating on the radio "I got him right now, he's walking out the door" basically insinuating that my friend had stolen something. We were only in the store for all of 8 minutes to get some cool air and kill time. I would NEVER shop at any Ross again based on this type of impertinent behavior. Truly unacceptable. read more

Absolutely the worst Ross I've been to, and I go to Ross all the way from Fort Worth to McKinney. Not to I spend minimum $150 EVERY time I go to Ross. Door greater is always nice no matter which one it is that day. White girl at register always is sweet and recognizes me when I come in. But restrooms are disgusting and ants were everywhere along with toilet paper last week when I was there. I won't ever go back to this location either. The Arabic manager lady if she even is a manager didn't let me check out in the lane because it was 11:58? THE LAST TIME I CHECKED YOU CLOSED AT 12am. I left and got my car. Came back up to take a picture of the hours and it's funny because when I took the picture it even says 11:59 on it. Like I said. A little messy and very basic BUT we found out couch cushions here to match the living room! Success! It was awesome that they were open a little later too, we actually ended up going to Ross because TJ Maxx was closed and Target had a crappy selection (more expensive too) of decorative pillows. Came in on a Saturday and lines were backed up down the isle to the back. Which is understandable and Im glad they are getting good business. While waiting in line there was 2 employees cleaning up and organizing the clothing. The whole time they were complaining and cursing as they did. They were very loud about it too. Talking about how messy customers were and how sick they were having to clean up after them. Made me feel real uncomfortable as a customer. Almost felt like they were trying to tell us customers those negative statements since they were shouting them as we all stood there. Might be the worst location ... on more than one occasion I have been to this store on my lunch hour at noon. There is a line wrapped all the way up into the clothing and literally one person checking out with employees just standing around and no management anywhere in sight.. Most people around here come in on lunches.. I have actually put a couple hundred $ worth items down out of frustration. I'm not the only upset that is only one person doing returns and check out..I had finally had enough today I asked the lady just standing there if could put my item on hold until 4 because i just need to exchange it and couldnt wait anymore - its the exact same just a smaller. I've been to many Rosses before and this one is just ok. It's about average in regards to cleanliness. It just seems untidy. The worst part about this one in Las Colinas (Irving) is the wait time. Every time I go there are only two people working the registers and roughly 10 or so customers in line, which takes roughly 10-15 minutes to get through. read more

For the sake of having to give one star in order to write a review is the only reason this review has a star at all. Never to miss an opportunity to be a disappointment seems to be the manager's mission at this Ross location. I purposely chose a time of day to purchase several Toys for Tots gifts that would not be busy knowing that I would be purchasing a lot of merchandise and could possibly need assistance with loading the toys into my vehicle. The store was not busy at all, only one guest in front of me and one behind me in line for the next cashier. Which was four cashiers including the exchange/returns cashier. There were three team members on the floor and I asked one of them to help me with loading the toys and he said he would help. When the manager asked him where he was going and he told her to help a customer she told him that he was not going to help me that I could do it myself. I heard her and asked her if there was somebody else that could help me and she did not answer my question. I asked her three more times each time she looked directly at me and did not answer my question. She was only 10 feet from me and she heard me as well as others standing by. I asked her if she was going to answer me and she said that I could pull my car up to the front and load it from there. When I came back inside, there were only cashiers besides herself and no team members on the floor like before. She obviously did not realize that I was inside the store as she was making demeaning and racist remarks about me to which I responded that I could hear what she was saying to a customer. I told her that her customer service is atrocious. It's unfortunate that this location has horrible leadership and a poor excuse for management. This location has several team members that are the opposite of the manager that was working this morning. I'm happy to drive out of my way to another Ross DFL location rather than pay money to shop at a store that cannot hire decent managers that have taken basic customer service training. Worst Ross store I've ever been to, the announcement by the store clerk was that there was 10 min until the dressing rooms were closed...when I approached the attendant at the back I was informed that I needed to ask the manager at the front... the manager at the front told me they made the a mistake and the dressing rooms were closed. This is a very good Ross. They always have a better selection than any other in DFW. I have seen dresses here from brands found in Nordstrom with tags attached that sell for $100, priced at $19. Wow. I had the absolute worst Ross experience of my life today. If I could give negative stars, I would. I went in to look for home furnishings. I found one of those huge 9x12 living room rugs for a little over $100. After dragging this huge rug to the front of the register, I paid for the rug and asked the cashier if they could keep it until the next day because I needed to get a bigger vehicle to carry the rug home. The cashier says, "does the manager know you want to hold it here?" Ummm, why would the manager know that? The cashier then calls the manger over and tells her that I would like to pick up the rug that I HAD JUST PURCHASED tomorrow because the rug wouldn't fit in my vehicle. The manager then says to me, "No, we can't hold it for you. You have to take it with you now if you paid for it." WTF?! Why wasn't I told that BEFORE paying??? There was no possible way for me to transport that rug in my small car. So, I had to get a refund and then leave and come back with a Jeep so that I could RE-BUY the damn rug. THEN, I asked the young man working at the front (he looked about 17 or 18) if he could help me put the rug in my Jeep which was literally parked at the front door and HE SAID NO. He claimed he had to stay posted at the front of the door. Mind you, my Jeep was right at the front door. This store is awful and has the worst customer service ever. 0-stars. read more

It's messy, like VERY messy but I usually find what I need and the location is ideal. But the employees act as if they are not happy to be there. I go to a Ross at least once a week. Their prices are cheap and they receive new merchandise at least once a week. Although selections vary store by store, you can find good designer clothes for cheap. Good stuff go quickly. I like elegant evening wear and I usually find it here. All my CK (Calvin Klein) dresses were for $49.99 or less. They are not last or past seasons either. These were current dresses sold at Nordstrom for $150+. I buy all of my running clothes here too. They are all Nike, Acis and Addidas at half the price of the sporting goods store. If you see something you like, buy it because it won't be there when you come back. If you're not sure, usually it is cheap enough so buy it anyway. Shhhh....you can always return them but remember to keep your receipt. You have up to 30 days to do so. I also found some good buys in shoes, kids' clothes, men's clothes and household goods. If you're looking for something specific then this might not be the place for you. Dressing rooms can use a little update. They show a lot of wear & tear. read more

My fiancé and I were turned away at the door because he had a closed coke bottle that was almost empty. The scrawny little man who was "Loss Prevention" person also almost touched me while basically blocking entrance for my fiancé. We have never been so humiliated by this location. Oh by the way I am hypoglycemic so the Coke could have for me cause my sugar dropped too low. But I would recommend never attempting to enter this store if you have just finished eating or have an open beverage because the management and the "loss prevention" are asshole who only care of themselves and not to the betterment of the expierence. read more

I purchased a jacket from Ross 11/16/14. i had to use it for a week to see whether i like it and felt jacket was too heavy and thick and not good for mild cold weather. Ross receipt said i can return this jacket until 1-24-15. I stop at the return register today and the middle aged Caucasian lady , not sure what her name was but her associate id was 763073... tells me that the jacket has white color dust /dandruff on the collar area and cannot take the returns... then i argued saying i have the original purchase receipt ..and i did not even remove the label and i had to wear for a week to see whether i like it. She said you need to clean it up and bring it to me back in a very rude tone.!!! I was like What the #$%&**.... This is DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!!. How dare that lady could ask a customer to clean it for her.. I was really upset over the customer service in this store and i never had such experience in any store nationwide in my 15 years..
