Thank you Kohls for giving the remaining part of my pickup order, that Ive waited two weeks for, to the WRONG CAR !!! Gotta love getting an email that thanks you for picking up your order when you're still waiting for it come to your car. The manager type woman came out (after I called and she said she'd have to figure out who brought jt out (to a car) . She never hung up and I was still connected when she came to my window). She was apologetic, but did not have ANY merch in hand (only labels) . She Just said that it had gotten super busy in the last 20 min. She Asked how long we'd been there. I told her there were four cars on the opposite side of signs and all were looking around like they'd been there for a while. We were in spot number 1 . ONE! Then BAM these employees came out and one by one the cars disappeared and then no one came back out for us. I was checking my email to pass the time and noticed that I'd received an email thanking me for picking it up when I was still waiting for it . I thought at first that it was marked before they came out but the second thought was they gave it to the wrong car. Obviously they did not scan MY pickup pass. She asked for our number In the event the customer brought it back (read until the end for my response to that). ((What proof would I have had that they screwed up?! An email saying thank you for picking it up!!!!))) I said I'll just take a refund . So she tells me ok , it'll all be digital and the refund would go back to the payment used . She brought the receipt of refund ( which I would have asked fir if not offered) and the fact I used 10 Kohls cash and they are not issuing jt now, she wrote it in the top of receipt and told me to holler for one of them the next time I came in. So we went around the corner and got the SBs that was now 12 min past time to pick up . And went right back in store to use that $10 and the $15 that went into effect today. So picked up two if not better shirts than originally ordered. So we go straight to customer service . This is a review of the make-up department only. I had a recent interaction with one of its employees, Sabrina, she's awesome! It is my understanding that having a make-up artist is a new thing for Kohl's. I have been to several Kohl's including the Allen, Plano, and McKinney locations. I have gone at varies times and I've not seen anyone working the make-up department. Possible they got pulled to another area/location. Regardless, this review is about the makeup department at the location in Irving. Your Kohl's discount can't be used on makeup products. Sad, but it is what it is. The stuff is affordable. I don't like a lot of make-up on my face 'cause it makes me feel dirty. Sabrina fixed me up with some great products. I especially like how she showed me how to shape my brows with a brow pencil. I'm writing this review over an experience I just had. Today is November the 30th. I went to do some shopping. I took my buggy to the dressing room where an employee told me I cannot take the cart into the dressing room. How am I supposed to try on the clothes? Lug them in armload after armload and throw them in the floor? While carrying my purse? What if I had kids with me? They don't have any kind of benches are chairs in the dressing rooms, so yes you would have to put them in the floor! The store hours at this location are crazy cause they stay open super late, like 10pm. So I must say, forget going to the mall if you are in a hurry, they have suits for men, dresses for ladies and an entire kids department. This use to be my favorite location, and now I only come here when I shop online and have to return things. It always seems really unorganized here. The new update, it does make the store look more organized, however The plus size section has now been hidden in the back. It honestly just looks like it's thrown in there, it does not fit the flow of the store. The electronic section is so small it's literally two little kiosks. I can usually find everything that I need, and The staff is usually pretty awesome. The only bad experience I have had was with somebody that worked in the jewelry department. This kohls is completely out of puma shoes for some reason on more than one occasion even though it advertises for them so I looked all over for something else to buy with my kohls cash and found a perfume rollerball. I stood in line behind one couple for 20 minutes (there was one cashier) and the lady at the cashier never called for another cashier to help me. Meanwhile there are two guys standing not to far away that work there talking to each other. I walked past them to put the perfume back and left the store without purchasing anything and I'm not sure if anyone even noticed. You won't be in business much longer with that kind of service. I ordered a space heater. I received a box missing screws to assemble the heater,, the user manual and the remote. They kept me on the phone for an hour and did not resolve the issue. They said they had to get with the manufacturer to see about the missing parts. The heater I purchased is out of stock. It seems it will never be back in stock. I was told to take the giant paper weight to the store and wait for them to investigate. I asked them to send me the next heater up from the one I ordered at the same price, ship it overnight and let's call it a day. Again, I was told that I would have to wait until they conducted their investigation. What I requested is regularly done by companies who care to make their customer whole. I know this because I have worked for companies where the satisfaction of the customer comes first. I did not purchase the product from the manufacturer. I purchased it from KOHL's. Kohl's should get my issue resolved in a way that does not cause me any more money and wastes as little of my time as possible. Kohl's has a problem with their vendor and THEY should wait for a resolution from them. They will not give me a manager's name and will not give me their full names.
