So, so bad. The manager is never there but you have to talk to them to do anything. Their policies change as convenient and they are quite happy to lie to you. Wow, really haven't seen a business as crooked as this for years. Avoid at all costs. Clothes are cheap, poorly sewn knockoffs in disposable fabric. read more

I have absolutely nothing good to say about this store, its owner, or those managing the different locations. Upscale? It's more like cheaply made, overpriced junk. They cater to very thin individuals. S, M, L? That's a joke. It's more like Asian XS, Asian Small, and Asian Medium. Don't bother trying to take your purchased items back (open at the seams, embellishments fall off, or zippers break because they don't have a return policy). I feel so sorry for the people who work there. They're not allowed to sit down (at all during their shift) or take a lunch break! They are spoken down to, belittled, and bullied. They can't even access their phone; heaven forbid you to have a family emergency. These people are taken advantage of and mistreated. There is no HR Department to go to to make a formal complaint. How is that even possible? Ms. Parks, shame on you for treating your employees this way and letting your store managers terrorize their employees. So, I wanted to go here because of someone I follow on socia media. I'm not an overweight person, but I'm not super skinny. So I had no clue that literally nothing I would try would fit. I did not see a single piece of clothing over a size large and even that was hard to find. I tried the clothes on and thought they would fit because typically I'm a large. Nothing fit. None of the employees talked to me except to give me a once over as I walked into the dressing room(assuming they knew nothing would fit) All in all, I left there feeling super down and like I was wayyyyy bigger than I thought. Super discouraging. Not to mention it was a mess in there and you could tell they had not cleaned the dressing rooms in a hot minute. Not cool. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

This business should really be updated. Don't worry about the hours here they vary. You could come as early and as mid as you want these doors barely stay open. The dresses are over priced for some of the "SHEIN" inspired stuff here. They open at 10 I've been here for 35 minutes and no one had opened the doors. read more

I literally just bought this top today. And when I got home to try it on the wires were popping out of the bra part of it on the receipt she put no refund but it's literally ripped and broken. I don't understand how you can sell something that is damaged for full price for no refund without showing the customer that it was damaged product that makes no fucking sense. I am very unhappy with the customer service as well. If you shop at the store make sure to double check the product that you're buying because they're assholes and they're not gonna tell you if it's damaged. read more

A friend brought me here after spending weeks raving about it. She said it had the same clothes as some of the high end boutiques I shopped at. She wasn't kidding. I found my favorite LA brand, which I buy at Accents in West Village. The only difference is the price. I normally pay anywhere from $40-120 for this specific brand at boutiques and here the price ranged from $25-60. Its a large store with many different color options a style types. The staff is nice but not overly helpful. They kind of stand around and smile so don't really expect a hello when you walk in or have anyone ask if you need help. Do note that certain styles run a little small. If you know the specific brand and what size you are in it, it helps. For example, normally I wear an X-Small or Small but in the LA brand I wear a medium. read more

My hairdresser told me about this place when I asked her where she bought her cute tops from. It's located in the same shopping area near Sam Moon off Harry Hines, so I would have never known about it if I hadn't asked! And yeah, ok, you may or may not get a 'hello' when you walk in but let it slide this time. ‍ If you leave your ego at the door and start browsing you'll be sure to find something you love, and without spending Uptown prices. I've found several of the same brands and styles here for much less than a few of the boutiques I normally shop in in Dallas. It's at least worth a look! read more

Cute items at reasonable prices. Several items they sell (for significantly less) can also be found at uptown boutiques. I would say 80% of the items in the store are less than $50, so please note that you're getting what you're paying for. If you're looking to buy something cute for a few wears or something you won't put in the wash & dry often, then you'll be fine and happy with your purchase. The gals working here have been helpful the times I've had questions, but I usually just browse, try on my items and purchase what I want without help. read more

Not super happy about their 'return policy'. I brought back a dress that I had purchased two weeks ago (tags still on it, in perfect condition) I didn't have the receipt but asked if i could exchange it. The girl looked like she thought about it then said no. I asked for a manager and was told that the manager wasn't in and to come back on Monday (this was Thursday). Um, yeah. After today I will never step foot in this establishment AGAIN! I literally shop at the alliance location every week for my daughter and I spending at least 300+. Every time I go typically the manager speaks and will put my clothes to the side or in a fitting room if I have a lot on my arm so that I can continue to shop comfortably Well today there was a young Asian girl working who was extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked her very politely if she could start a fitting room for me since I had so many items or if she could place the clothes on the outside of the rack so I could shop. She stated it was against their policy. What? Every retail store I have been to has always offered to start a fitting room if they see you are struggling with multiple items. She insisted that she couldn't and that there were multiple people in the store in which there was only 1 other person shipping. At this point I asked for a manager and she lied saying she didn't have one so I walked to the cashier where the manager was and explained what had happened. She was very apologetic and wanted to help. The same girl walked over and decided she wanted to continue going back and fourth with me after I no longer wanted to deal with her. I asked her multiple times to move away from me and to stop speaking to me as the manager is taking care of me, at this point she wouldn't even listen to the manager! I walked away and said I would never purchase from them again, the manager followed me to continue apologizing to make things better but the employee continued pointing, laughing and speaking against her co worker about the situation. If it wasn't for the horrible customer service I dealt with today and disrespect given I am a 35 year old woman and this child was maybe 18 and the most I would have still been a customer. If this is who styles for less is allowing to represent their brand I will never spend another dime with them. read more

My favorite secret spot for shopping. I have yet to leave without at least three items purchased. They carry many of the same brands as boutiques in uptown but a third or half the price. It's well stocked so plan to give yourself an hour to make it through the store. The left side is dressy/club and the right side is more casual. I've seen reviews where people complained about no one offering to help them. It really doesn't bother me. If I need to have them hold stuff while I keep looking they always do. It's a cute little boutique located in the Sam Moon shopping center area off of Harry Hines Blvd. I'm not sure I'd call it Upscale for Less, but there are some very nice items if you search through the store to find them. The largest size they carry is large and that large is very iffy at times. There really isn't any customer service, no one speaks, welcomes you or helps you if you're looking for something -- you're pretty much on your own until you're ready to checkout, and even then you have to wait until someone sees you standing there. I believe all sales are final, no returns, refunds or exchanges -- so really look at what you're buying, try it on and KNOW FOR SURE that you want it! Be careful with the sale/clearance items, just glancing through, a lot are on clearance because they're damaged. (why they still sell it, who knows). read more

This is for the Alliance Town Center Location. As much as I love this store for it's variety and trendy clothing, I absolutely despise going in there because of the manager. Each time I go I spend quite a bit of money. I buy clothes for myself and my clients. The return policy is sucky but, I can get over it if the manager would actually abide by their policy. I have had about 4 terrible interactions with her, one of which she tried to not give me store credit for items that fell under their policy. It made no sense and I threw a big fit and said some choice words until another employee whispered something to her so she let me return them but, wouldn't let me use it that day. The next time I went in she followed me around, took clothes out of my hand and said "try on" and that was it. So when I didn't try some of them on, because they weren't for me, she acted annoyed and told me she wanted me to leave. Not a single person acknowledges you when you walk in and the employees seem legit scared of the manager. I have had a few of them actually apologize on her behalf and make faces when she is being rude. I have a friend who has been kicked out due to her child being in there. Another who's mom was kicked out because the last time she came in, she returned items. Absolutely ridiculous. Only allowing store credit forces people to come use the credit towards your store. So either they come back and use it or they lose it. Bottom line they are making money by doing it this way so they shouldn't complain when people return items. This needs to be addressed by the owner. read more

Upscale for less, are you kidding me, more like Upscale my A$$. I purchased 4 tank tops there last Saturday. Admittedly, I didn't try them on in the store. I purchased my normal size large L. When I arrived home I attempted to try one on but the label was misleading, it was not a large, maybe a medium at best. No problem, (so I thought) and today I attempted to return said 4 tank tops. Like other reviewers have mentioned, no store personnel will speak to you when you enter the store. I stood at the cash stand for a few minutes before the young woman who was doing something under the counter even acknowledged my presence. I told her the tank tops were too small and I simply wanted to exchange them for a large size. She informed me that the so called large is the largest size in the store and that the tank tops aren't returnable because they are always on sale. Funny, there was no sign on the table where the tank tops were displayed to advise this. Also no one advised me of this upon check out. I will admit, today when I attempted the return there was a handwritten note taped to the counter that read :no return on sale items". Did I mention that I had a receipt for my purchase? Nothing like spending $26.00 for something one can't use. Quite honestly one would be better off shopping at Wally World if they are in need of some simple and inexpensive tank tops. If I could give these shysters less than one star I would do it. read more
