Know what you should expect when you go to Ross. It's not going to be very fancy. The racks will be slightly-to-moderately disorganized. They won't have all sizes of everything. There won't be many people around to assist you. That's how they keep the prices so low. However, you will find something you like (in your size) if you look hard enough.

Quite a few cute canvases.

Stopped in here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Reminds me a lot of Marshall's or TJ Max but seems cheaper than even those stores. You have to go through quite a few racks to find the good stuff but there is a lot more than I find at some other stores. Shoes, clothes, housewares, you name it. I walked in not expecting to buy anything and ended up with ankle boots and a jacket for work for about $30. Hard to beat that!

I was greeted when I walked in. The store was clean. I went to return something but left with something new.

Waited over 2 hours for the email to say it was picked. Then just went in got the product off the shelf and canceled my online order. Over 20 of the item on the shelf. Went up to pay and was actually surprised they had real lanes open ( 2 stars ). Two employees with no lines were standing and chatting. I walked into a line past the cashier and I was asked if I was ready to checkout. I said yes. I asked her if she knew how long it typically took for a gift card to show back up on an account after an online purchase was canceled. She said she didn't know. The correct answer should have been I don't know but I will ask someone. So not able to use my gift card or circle points for my purchase. A few hours later it shows back up on my account. It's no wonder people do more and more on line shopping. The lack of care and service is the norm these days. The number of curb side, park and sit on your butt, in your car spots were numerous. We really are getting lazier and lazier these days.

Meaning...if I don't like hamburgers I'm not going to give a hamburger place a low rating if they seem to make a good burger...my not liking hamburgers isn't their fault....Homegoods seems to be one of those places that involve reduced price, kind of random things in a range of categories. It would likely be great fun with hidden bargains for people who love spending time looking for hidden treasures. I am not one of those people on most days...I need to be able to find what I'm looking for and get on with my day. Unless I'm on vacation, shopping is an item on my to-do list. If you have the time and enjoy the hunt, they do seem to have good quality items here including dishes, linens, towels and even furniture. They have some familiar brands of home products and items were in original packaging and appeared new. I needed some cushions for patio chairs and they did have some but the sizes and colors were not what I needed. They have shopping carts, but many aisles are too narrow for them. I think I'd likely only come back if I wasn't looking for anything in particular and was in the mood to just browse for random items. Again though, if you love just browsing, you'll probably have fun here!

This was my first opportunity to check out The Accent Shop in its new location after a move from…read morethe Nora area. The Accent Shop has been around since 1958 when Dick and Jane Bridgins opted to move out of their department store setting in an effort to bring a more modern style store to the Indy area offering furniture, lamps, tabletop and more. Today's The Accent Shop definitely still focuses on contemporary design, though they have a strong focus on bridal and gift registry items including dinnerware, flatware, glassware, serving pieces, collectibles, jewelry, and a bunch of other fun stuff. This new location is a little more relaxed than was Nora. For the most part, it seems a lot more spacious until you get into the Collectibles area where everything is really packed in. The employees have always been helpful here, though it's definitely in a more reserved way. In terms of accessibility, I'd likely quibble a bit with Yelp's listing that "wheelchair accessible" is one of the amenities here. While it definitely has some of the basics - for example, nearby accessible parking, appropriate curb cuts, and a level to the ground entry - The store itself is for sure a little bit hit-and-miss in terms of interior design. As I noted, this is especially true in the collectibles area where even my small manual wheelchair struggled and had to detour my path multiple times due to far too narrow aisles. I can't imagine a power chair being successful here. That said, the front of the store is vastly superior to the Nora location in terms of space and design. That was nice to see. I also really love the options here. I think the collectibles section bugged me in terms of access precisely because that was my favorite area of the store. From Christmas wares to a surprisingly large (and unique) Halloween section, I was really impressed here. I loved some of the candles. I loved the garden flags. The glassware was awesome. I think my two favorite sections are likely the kitchenwares and the seasonal collectibles. I can easily see myself returning come Halloween. Prices vary. You can sure spend a modest amount here, though there are also some higher-end items. There's something special about a shop that reminds you of the value of in-person shopping. I really enjoyed shopping here and loved the diversity of the items. Overall, I'd easily return and I very likely will during both Halloween and Christmas. While I do wish the layout was a bit more wheelchair friendly, there's an obvious effort here and I'm guessing 3/4 of the store is easily accessible and for the most part going very slowly and with care I was able to see most everything I wanted to see.

I stopped into Hobby lobby because I knew I could get some good picture frames there. Luckily, the store was having a 50% off discount on all wall frames and photo frames. Hobby Lobby had a huge selection of wall/photo frames to choose from, so I took my time to find the right frames for my pieces of art. I eventually found the frames I wanted, and picked up a decorative item for my house as well. The value of the picture frames was terrific and there were very nice frames in the store. There are not a lot of staff walking around in the store, so I didn't ask anyone for assistance, because I did not really need it. When I checked out at the cashier, the woman was very nice and friendly, and wrapped my picture frames with care to make sure they would not crack or break. I had not been in a Hobby Lobby for quite some time, so I was impressed with the selection of picture frames and other items in the store. She said "NO we're understaffed tonight" I pleaded my case as I felt it was inhumane to have me working while smelling like another humans feces. I asked again.. and then again rejected by "Liz".
