Target never ceases to be uninspired or less than impressive. Made an order online for a product I needed for a cemetery visit tomorrow. Online said less than 5 available. Waited over 2 hours for the email to say it was picked. Then just went in got the product off the shelf and canceled my online order. Over 20 of the item on the shelf. Went up to pay and was actually surprised they had real lanes open ( 2 stars ). Two employees with no lines were standing and chatting. I walked into a line past the cashier and I was asked if I was ready to checkout. I said yes. I asked her if she knew how long it typically took for a gift card to show back up on an account after an online purchase was canceled. She said she didn't know. The correct answer should have been I don't know but I will ask someone. So not able to use my gift card or circle points for my purchase. A few hours later it shows back up on my account. It's no wonder people do more and more on line shopping. The lack of care and service is the norm these days. The number of curb side, park and sit on your butt, in your car spots were numerous. We really are getting lazier and lazier these days. read more

What comes to mind when I hear Target is "too little too late". While I love Target stuff and the atmosphere in the store (and can't forget their terrific red shopping carts) it's sad to say I won't be patronizing Target stores anytime soon. I remember in San Bernardino County the first Target store was actually a knock off of the now defunct store Mervyns. In the early 1980's you could shop returned or damaged Mervyns merchandise at the Target store and by the end of the 1980's Target had come out with their own products. I've always shopped at Target even though their prices are a little bit higher than other stores, they've just got trendy cool stuff. Overall Target is a great store with a lot of convenient parking. They need to work on the expired food! Please. We bought two packages of ground beef and one of the packages was expired. By the time we discovered the expired meat, it was too late. To make that long drive back to the store. Also, we noticed the Oreo yoghurt on the shelf was expired. I couldn't find any yoghurt that was okay to buy. I have recently become a big fan of Target as they have perfected drive-up pickup - hands down. We tried a number of different curb side pickups only to find long waits, lack of products and onerous procedures. My daughter urged us to try Target with same day pick up. I downloaded the app and shopping was fairly easy although the search tool was cumbersome to use. But I was able to get things such as salts for our water softener, baby gifts and food dry goods. They even had flour which was out at other stores. Check out was very easy with just one push of a button. My orders have been ready for pick up in 2 hours! I notify them that I am on my way and they can identify my car and have the packages to me in minutes. The clerks are super friendly and won't even take a tip. My orders have been accurate. The only downside is that you cannot order refrigerated products or produce. I guess they don't have the capacity to store those items. This Target has everything you need to run a household. I love their greeting card selection. The products are better quality than other super stores. This store has plenty of parking but can get busy. read more

This is my go-to Target since it's closest to my house. I've always had a great experience here. The customer service is great, they have great selection and the store is clean. They also have a Starbucks. Sometimes I'll grab a coffee before shopping which is nice. I like the in-store pick up option. This especially comes in handy when I'm wanting an item that keeps selling out before I can buy it. I can buy it online and pick it up in store once it's been restocked and don't have to wait on delivery time! They are making great strides to make people feel safe during covid-19. When my husband and I walked in this evening there were two employees wiping down carts with sanitizing wipes. They also have signs on the floor around the registers so customers know how far apart they should be while checking out. I look forward to a Saturday where I can grab a Starbucks and spend my time looking around! read more

Oh Super Target how I've missed you! Target stores are my go to and I've been in way too many to say I don't have an addiction. :) this particular location is wonderful! We live in Columbus so I usually visit the Fishers location as it's the closest Super Target to Columbus. That's right, we bring a huge Yeti cooler and drive over 3 hours so I can get my usual stuff that is only offered at Super Target locations. After leaving Dallas I was shocked that a Ohio had none so we just started going to Indiana. Back to the Carmel location. We were greeted with a smile and all the other employees were friendly as well. We didn't stay long because I just stopped to get Starbucks because the Starbucks location down the street was super crowded and the line went out into the street. I also grabbed some food for the road. The lady at Starbucks was amazing! She gave me a new drink suggestion for my mom and it's perfect for her. She was also very patient since she had to split the order to use my reward stars. Then I headed over to grab some prepackaged food for the road. They had lots of options. Everything was neatly organized and clean. The produce section was very bright, well stocked, very clean, and produce was fresh. They did a great job presentation wise. The wine and spirits section was fully stocked, well lit, and again neatly organized. Self checkout was easy and the lady working was nice. I this is either a newer location or more likely has just had a remodel fairly recently. Overall I was very impressed by the layout, the variety of options available, the cleanliness, presentation in the few sections I visited, and the employees! read more

Love my Target! I spend way too much money here. They make it easy with drive-up pick-up. Also love their digital coupons through the app. My only complaint is that even though it's a super Target, the grocery section can still be somewhat limited (no plain ramen noodles, really??). Also, you can't get alcohol through pick-up, but I could do that at the Target locations in Michigan if I showed my ID. Guessing it's a state law thing, but it's still annoying! read more

These have been abandoned since the start of the covid pandemic. You have 4 auto lanes on each end and maybe 3 traditional lanes open. Just rip out some more lanes and add automatic checkout. Then you will be a 5 star bi*ch. available for consultation on this idea. I wrote the above review around 2021 with 3 stars and now they only have one self checkout lane open at times and they are limiting it to 10 items or less but still don't have enough people working the traditional lanes. You are messing up Target. Also your prices continue to climb. At least add some people working so checkout goes smoothly. read more

I like to call this the fancy target of Carmel ha. It is the super target located next to 106th street and Michigan road by Zionsville. Groceries are to the left, home and clothing to the right--including the dollar section right when you walk in. This target also includes a target optical that I use with very friendly staff. This target is always up to date with everything and fully stocked! The store is very clean and there are employees at every self checkout that cleans each piece of equipment between guest! This target is amazing and just got remodeled in the past year! Inside and out it is so well organized and up kept. I like to goto this retailer over others in the area simply due to attention to detail and great service. I went in yesterday for a return, and no one was at the desk but within seconds was asked what I needed and walking back out in less than 2mins! That is astounding customer service and appreciate the atmosphere and great staff at this location. Want a simplified and effortless shopping experience check out this store bc the brands and overall experience is spectacular. I feel like I truly can't say enough good things about this place. Oh my...every once in a while I'm reminded why I do so much shopping online. Tonight was one of those times...I wanted to get some items from a gift registry and didn't have time to wait for shipping...so, off to Target I went. I hit the first snag when I tried to print the items from the registry list that were available in the store, and the printer wasn't working, so I chose the "send to my phone" option. Well...all that did was send the link to the whole list to my phone....yeah, I could have done that without stopping at the kiosk... So...I tried to figure out what was actually available in the store, and it didn't seem there was a way to sort by that, so I just started tapping on different items on the screen that weren't marked "online only" and some had locations that came up but they were completely wrong. All the baby items are in the "S" aisles and the website listed "N" aisles. Yes, I double checked to make sure the correct store was listed. There seemed to be little rhyme or reason to how items were organized, and they were out of a lot! They also no longer have any books at this Target location. They are only available online. I'm not exaggerating, it took me 1-1/2 hours to successfully find a reasonable number of items on the registry. I'm not going lower than 3 stars, because there are other areas of the store that looked nicer, and some areas even seem to be recently remodeled. Next time I'm getting anything from a registry though I will definitely plan far enough ahead to just order online! read more

I went to Target on Sunday afternoon on October 27th since I wasn't feeling too great. Before, I went in I knew I need soup, orange juice, and some medicine which that's what I left with. Usually, when I go to Target I tend to send way more than that day. Usually, when I go in there it's no long lines, the employees are always helpful, friendly, and very professional. It's Target, you know what it is and what it has. If you don't, get out from under that rock and check it out because Targets are pretty great. Some things that may distinguish it from other Target locations: - It's a Super Target, so they have a grocery store. Not a SUPER grocery store, it's smaller and pricier than a regular grocery store, but a grocery store nonetheless. - In addition to restrooms in the front, they helpfully have one right next to the pharmacy. - Pharmacists give flu shots. - Clean and the parking lot has lots of places to park carts so you don't have to walk too far. - They have a few self checkout lanes. I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. As Nicole's review points out, they have a little bit of everything, but not a lot of specialty things and many standard brands are not represented in the grocery section. I cannot imagine doing all my weekly grocery shopping here. But I settled on on 4 stars mostly because the working mom, harried housewife, and lazy bum in me loves that I can buy socks, toys, a new purse, toilet bowl cleaner, headache meds, and a handful of grocery items all in one place. Recently remodeled Super Target with a beautiful layout and open walkways. This location doesn't even compare to other Target stores! The store is always clean, well organized, and stocked. There's a Starbucks, clean restrooms, new shopping carts, separated spirits section, and a big parking lot. The "dollar" section is my favorite part of the store as I always find something fun and unique at a great price. I also like the neat displays of home items near the front of the store. The electronics department is now located at the back of the store and is visually a different section with the carpet and varying organization of the aisles and displays. The electronics department staff is always friendly- I've gotten a new phone through them before. But it's all the employees throughout the store that are always nice, friendly, and helpful. The only downside to this Target goes to the amount of time I always have to wait in line. They staff the self-check out lanes with a couple staff members to keep that line moving but neglect to staff the normal lanes well. The other day I went to Target to get some cold medicine- I know I would need to be ID'd to make my purchase so I avoided the self-check out lane. I waited way too long in a regular lane behind two customers with one purchasing over $200 in groceries, then deciding to pay with a check. I only purchased a few small items and didn't even have a cart but still had to wait a while in the lane because it was one of three that were open, all with a long line and full carts. read more

Great Optical Dept. I recommend this store in general but especially the Optical Dept. Dr. Hall is caring and knowledgeable. They are able to do a retinal image scan which reveals diabetic damage if there is any. I always find at least one set of frames I like on sale. The rest of the staff are also caring and knowledgeable. Each one who helped me took great care that my glasses would fit, and that my prescription was correct. Been going here several years. From Las Vegas, to Reno to Pittsburgh to all over California...really an exceptional Target as it comes down to quality and quantity of product and layout of store. Clearly a demographic and population in this area of Carmel, IN where the cotton is a bit taller to warrant the best of the best that Target has to offer, it is noticeably a great store from the moment you see their fresh crab claws at the entrance, their abundant produce aisle, their giant grocery section or their extremely well groomed and manicured clothing sections. I think this is one of those instances where my expectations were not in-line with reality. I guess I thought a Super Target would be like a really awesome Target, and it would have everything you'd find at a regular Target. Instead, it was more like a Walmart, where there's a little bit of everything but a whole lot of specialty items missing. It's also arranged in a really unintuitive way. For instance, the bath hardware (towel hangers, trash cans, scales, etc.) is in a totally different part of the store from the shower curtains and towels. This Target was completely renovated last year and it is such an improvement! I enjoy shopping here on my lunch break and they really have upgraded the clothing brands/options offered at Target recently. Some of my favorite pieces are from here, and it's always my first stop when looking for a new swimsuit or pair of shoes. My favorite Target in the Indianapolis area!! I love the amount of space and the great display areas of this store. I personally believe the Merchandise Buyer for the store is very fashion forward and on trend - especially for the Midwest. One of my favorite features is the new, larger clean fitting rooms located near shoes. It has great lighting and gives you enough room to not feel cramped in a small space. I also appreciate the divisions between types of wear. Women's/juniors clothing is organized into professional wear, casual wear and a mix of both. I like the feature areas of the special design collaborations that work so well with the Target stores. Right now the feature designer is Hunter and it is displayed very well ( as opposed to two other Targets that really don't know what to do with it so they have stuck it in an out of the way corner). Grocery aisles are easy to navigate. The new beer and wine section up front is fabulous. I greatly appreciate the local, Indiana product area across from beer and wine. It is always nice to support local while still shopping at a big box retailer. Snack bar, Starbucks, vision, photography and the wine section make this store a real stand out. Large nice parking area and close to the interstate are added treats. read more

We started shopping for groceries here about 6 or 7 years ago. Mainly because; it already had the lower prices that you would have to use your Fresh Idea card to get at Marsh. We have a routine; we start out on the "blue" side of the store and browse the CD's and Blurays, then we move on to the toy section, then clothing, then groceries! It's great because you get to see a little of everything! The staff at the checkout it hit or miss.. Sometimes they are very friendly and personable and other times they can't wait to see you leave and barely say one word... But hey; it's hard to find good service these days! read more

Every time I (rarely) make the trip out this way I MUST spend a significant time in this store, if not but to just love the huge selection and vibes of the 'super' parts! I was here one day and I believe they had demos set up - WHAT?!???! Am I in a department store? Seems like target is taking over the market which I love. The playground for Adults! This place is damaging to your bank account, but they have literally everything you need for life! Please make sure you go in with a list and stick to it, because your attention span will have you in every isle trying to find a place for this pillow, or maybe I do really need this shovel, or look, leggings! See! Definitely avoid the front of the store. Those $1 sections add up quick. I had to make an office at home with all the stuff I bought. But really, the store is clean, products are easy to find, and they offer free WIFI. What's better than that? Oh yea the wine/alcohol section by the checkout that's what. Self-checkout is always a plus. I guess if you're going to spend your life savings in Target may as well get the Target red card that links to your checking account. Target is my happy place! This Target location is very nice after the remodel. I can always count on the store being extremely clean, items in stock and organized, great deals through Cartwheel, and an easy layout to get around the store. The fact that this location is also a Super Target is an even bigger "win". I can get my groceries as well as personal items in a one stop shop. Placed an online order. Came in to pickup and it wasn't quite ready. I asked an associate if anything could be done. Her first response is you can cancel your order. Ask for a manager calmly to look for further into the issue. Managers first response before looking into I it, seeing what can be done. Is " you can refund". Blown away by the service I leave to wait for another confirmation email that my items are ready. As I get in my car in the parking lot my order was cancelled by that same manager. Because I asked a question. Unbelievable and dirty get back tactics. I called back and lied and said it was a stock issue. But I already called to double check inventory because I knew something was wrong. Lied to and manipulated. read more
