Located between Target & Sprouts (next door to Pet Smart) so the parking lot is shared & plentiful. This location must be popular. Nice size store but lots of empty shelves & racks. Items were organized for the most part, things sectioned off according to size, product, etc. Not really in search for anything specific, but found a few toddler outfits, pillows for our bed & some fun activity items. Reasonable prices. The check out was a little longer than expected. 5 customers in line, 1 cashier stall open, 1 employee putting away return items, 1 employee looking past the waiting customers to assist someone for a dressing room & a security guard. Pay for your things, get your receipt, take 5 steps to the security guard (who is watching the whole transaction take place), allow said guard to review receipt. Now... I asked myself... are they having the guard check the receipt for the transaction she just witnessed because they wanna confirm the employee didn't undercharge the customer? If so, they should look at other options for employee loss prevention. Or are they making sure the customer didn't swipe a hanger (there's literally nothing else between you & the door except the guard) that wasn't paid for? read more

Customer service here is always awesome. However, i feel like after the holidays there isn't much on the racks. Selection of clothes is not a lot especially for those in the bigger sizes in juniors. prices definitely went a little up too. I feel like this area should definitely have an employee to watch secure the fitting rooms as well. Witnessed a couple of ladies taking things out of someone else's cart while they were in the dressing room from afar. That's so rude.I work for retail and i know how it's like sometimes too to have a certain amount of employees on a slow day but, it would help to have extra people to replen or fix up the store. I give total props for the employees who always helped us while we're there. Young tall man with spiked hair and glasses, the young lady who rung me up several times i think she mentioned to me that she was from maui not too sure . We clicked right away because that's were i'm from and that young asian lady with short of a bob hair. Up until today I have loved this Ross. Unfortunately, I most likely won't go back to a Ross ever again. It's getting warmer outside and I haven't done a clothes shop for summer clothes in years. I also have a vacation coming up. I spent over an hour picking out jeans, shorts, bathing suits, dresses, etc. Hundreds of dollars of stuff in my cart to be honest. I went to go try on my clothes, and they only have 2 dressing rooms in the front open. I became 3rd in line. I was waiting for a few minutes with no movement when I realized the girl in front of me was already frustrated with waiting. A while longer goes by, nothing. I see a worker hanging up items and ask if they could open up the back fitting rooms for those of us in line, and she said no they don't have anyone for that. I go back in line, wait again, and then just walk out. Over an hour of my time wasted. And now that worker has to go put back everything I picked out, instead of just watching the fitting rooms for 10 minutes for those of us in line. Absolutely insane experience. read more

I am currently waiting in a long line to simply try on some clothes. Security has to closely monitor all people entering the tiny, two stall fitting room. Crime has hit this area of Henderson particularly hard. Cheap clothing is guarded like jewelry. read more

Everyone from the orange-haired they/them employee to the customers, everyone in this store was obnoxious and trash. It's Ross so can I really blame them? I blame myself for having any expectations of a decent shopping experience at a ROSS. What urged me to write my review was after my unpleasant experience, I called to ask if the woman behind me turned in a twenty dollar bill I dropped. A simple "no" would have sufficed. Penny Lane and I always enjoy a good hunt at Ross!! One our favorites are the Doodle Co. Potty Pads that we've only been able to find at Ross's. If you need potty pads we highly suggest these because they come in all different colors and designs! As far as Ross goes it's Ross you have to be in a treasure hunting mood but this is definitely one of the cleaner more organized locations. My only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the associates are terrible!! I've ran into 1-2 max that we're competent, the rest forget it!! Womp womp. Besides not being able to find anything...Ross to me is just kind of run down. Security greets you as soon as you walk through the door, and watch you grab a cart. Or in this case, grab a cart, put my diaper bag in, strap in my baby in the seat.......Was I not doing it quick enough? No one looks happy working there... In fact, security was the only person who even spoke to me. The only thing in here that I saw worth buying was Burts Bees scrub, that they had priced for $5, instead of other stores usually having it priced at $13/$14. Don't plan on buying a lot here, because you can't take the carts out of the store.... They have that large, tall pole attached to them. I totally forgot about it, and tried to exit. The cart got stuck, and I tried to remove my daughter, and my belongings out of the basket, so I could put it back in the store....... No employee help... Kind of crappy. read more

I just love their household items in the back of the store. It is great if you need something special for someone that has everything. The clothes, I hate. You cannot find anything the right size -- if you like a dress and it's too big or too small you are not going to find it in a bigger/smaller size this is like the rejected clothing store. My one star review is for the heavy set male Caucasian cashier that worked at this location on 5/7 around 12:30pm. He made a sarcastic, rude, insensitive comment towards my Mom. I was waiting for my Mom to checkout near the jewelry counter and I hear my Mom tell douchebag to please add the senior discount because it's Tuesday. The douchebag turns to the cashier next to him and sarcastically says, "Don't you just love Tuesdays!" He then sighs and rolls his eyes like a middle school girl. I went in a few weeks ago with my mom for Tuesday and we love the store the only problem is that the store manager doesn't help out when there only 2 cashiers she sees the line but proceeds to talk to the security. When we first came in she was outside smoking by the door and when I was paying she was going out again and we weren't even in the store for 10 mins . Very unprofessional if you ask me. This is probably because it's a lower traffic store, but unlike most smaller stores they still had a lot of variety which is pretty unusual Definitely a must shop. Decided to go to this store because it I was close by to shop for some work clothes. I usually go to the one on Stephanie. This store was disgusting. As I'm looking through women's shirts I see a COCKROACH on a shirt. I immediately go to the front of the store and tell the loss prevention gentleman and show him. He states "well sorry, we just had it spayed. I IMMEDIATELY left. I have NEVER been so grossed out. How can you expect your customers to try on clothing with roaches crawling on them. I didn't stick around to find a manager. I just needed to get out immediately. I drove right to the other location and purchased my items. Drive the extra 10 minutes to the other location. I usually don't write bad reviews, but policy needs to be changed. Absolutely APPALLED that you're not allowed to bring the cart outside of the store. A store that sells furniture, for effs sake! I'm 8.5 months very visibly pregnant, was offered NO help from either the cashier or the security guard when told I can bring my vehicle up to put the heavy items in my car. Couldn't even wheel the cart from the door to my car at the curb, had to carry everything myself individually while they watched. How is this right?? You've lost my business. Zero stars. read more

I have to say this is by far the best Ross in town! Very clean, well organized and all the staff greet you! They ask if you need any help and will walk with you "if they can" to assist you. I love the option to remove the hangers while in line. If everyone would do this? We would all be able to check out faster and it helps the cashier personal get you checked out faster. They get merchandise just about 6 days a week but Sundays. There's always something new. Mark downs are on Mondays. You never know which departments. You just might find a gem that you weren't looking for while you browse! Love this store!! read more

Went on a whim. I actually found a few things. I found the girl working the fitting room sad. Maybe she was having a bad day or hates her job. I don't know. Being from the east coast I'm used to unfriendly employees. The line at the register was painfully long and slow. The manager just stood there as the line grew longer and longer. I felt bad for the girl working the register. She had to do both sales and returns. There was a security guard at the register and I know why. To control the angry shoppers waiting 20 minutes to check out as the manager just stands there doing nothing to serve his customers. I will go again but next time I'll send my husband to get in line while I shop and by the time I'm done we should be at the register. read more

If I could give Zero stars I would. Ross is Ross, you know what your getting when you go into a Ross. It's always hit and miss but great deals. I was on the hunt for pants for a new job and only had an hour to find some. For me that's like mission impossible. I tried some on in the dressing room, didn't fit so went to get a different size. The woman working the dressing rooms (taller Blonde woman) commented and laughed when I came back like "Oh, a bigger size haha!" I shrugged it off even though it made me feel bad, I already don't feel great having to grab a larger size but thanks for pointing it out. They fit but I didn't end up liking them so I went on the search for more, she laughed at me when I hung up the ones I didn't like, I mean really laughed. Came back and she AGAIN commented and asked what size did I grab this time? I responded and asked if it mattered, I would just like to try them on. Oh, and they were the same size as the previous ones. Anyways, they fit and I still didn't like them but got them anyways because of the incredibly rude, degrading comments from the attendant. I didn't want to go back in there and face her again in fear that I would either flip out on her or break down in tears. It's none of her business what size and how dare her laugh and comment each time. So then I'm stuck with these ugly pants I don't like because I felt so uncomfortable to find others. I will never shop there again, I will be returning them as well as bringing this to a managers attention and I will never return. I cried when I left, I've never experienced such blatant rudeness and disrespect ever in a retail store. She was an older woman and was no where near a Barbie herself, probably wears the same size I do. She wasn't funny even though she thought she was, she was incredibly offensive and degrading. I am giving one star since I need find what I was looking for. The whole experience shopping here was terrible. You really feel like you are in the ghetto when you shop here when it comes to security. I bought a dress and wanted to match up a necklace and earrings/bracelet for it. Normally at Kohl's, Macy's, Jc Penney's I would bring my outfit to that department and hold up different jeweler y to see which one I would choose, match and compare colors. I looked all over for jeweler y and finally asked someone one. They had it locked up, I told the girl I guess I will have to pass not looking for high priced pieces just costume. The employee told me they were not high priced that is how they just display them. So, I point to two different necklaces for her to grab and I put my dress on the counter so I can match up and was told that she can only bring one piece out at a time. Huh, she said it was store policy. I just was so irritated after how it is when you try on clothes there and mind you I only had two pieces. The security is plain stupid. The staff at that area are just like robots. Hard to go in but the whole experience left me feel very uneasy. I am not covered in tattoos or piercings (that doesn't matter just saying), not wearing all black leather, not a thief or ever shop lifted in my life.
