I found some Stonewall Kitchen merchandise right around the corner and of course I bought a couple Jars, one for a Christmas gift and one for a friend. (Blueberry was the one for the friend) They had Christmas and Halloween Decor but were just getting around to the Christmas stuff so the Halloween stuff was discounted, in fact so were the Jams I bought, 25% off! I was greeted by another woman who welcomed me into the store.... and then a man and then another woman behind the counter, all very friendly and asked if I needed any help, I was pretty amazed by this because some stories you go in and are ignored.... They had diffusers and oils and candles, usually my thing but spendy, around $45 for a single candle up to $60 and not knowing if the brand has a good throw or not when lit makes me hesitant to buy, I am sure for that price it would mind you but again, not knowing for sure..... that is a lot to spend...PM me though if you have tried any and they have excellent throws, I will go back this weekend and buy a couple (Thanks) All in all, I would go back because they were adding more items and Id like to see what they add next. While the store easily had 100 cutting boards, they had exactly one paper towel holder and it wasn't what I was looking for. There was a staff person in the area, but she focused solely on stocking the already overflowing shelves instead of assisting anyone. I did find some salt and pepper grinders, so it wasn't a total waste, but it's mind-boggling that a store with "home" in the title doesn't really carry paper towel holders.

Near the entrance I saw a fun llama bench and some decorative giant toadstools or mushrooms. They had at least three rows of edible things. One thing I got that caught my eye is a storage box. As a previous retail employee, I know you're supposed to check the inside of the box. The cashier didn't and put it in the bag and he told her to open it up. I looked over at him and smiled and laughed. She took it out of the bag and opened it up to find it empty. Then I looked back at him, laughed again and smiled. What I wanted to do was leave everything there and just leave. I don't even care to this give this business my money as it is, but the employees could be trained A LOT better. My cashier even proceeded to miss an item when ringing things up, and barely caught it after she gave me my total. So worried I was going to steal when the employee almost gave me something for free. Truly laughable. Maybe he should've payed more attention to what she was doing. Don't plan on coming back. Especially when they have tens of employees all over and 2 of the slowest cashiers. We had originally planned on just browsing the store and Lyna was so kind to show us their full offering of sheets, pillows, art, and other offerings, but we were drawn to their selection of premium massage chairs since my mom had been considering purchasing one for awhile. Lyna gave us the full breakdown on the chairs and allowed us to test them at our own leisure with no pressure to purchase. After much testing, we ultimately decided on one of their top of the line models since Lyna was able to put together a package we couldn't refuse. One thing I like is that if you see something you want but are not in a hurry, check back in about 30 days because it will be discounted. The sticker on each item shows the date it arrived. The day of the actual cleaning they organized everything into four piles. Keeps/ Toss/ Sale/ Donate. they organized the closet space, the office space. They had a very cheerful personality while doing it and were fun to work with. The project ended sooner than expected, they were so efficient with their time management.
