their card reader wasn't working yesterday, so the lady said she would write my name down and say that my items were on hold and i can pick i went to pick it up today, and the lady in front told me that they had it at the fitting room. when i walked to the fitting room, the lady said she put everything away. so the things that i picked out were somewhere in the ross, or someone took it. pretty upset, i won't be coming here again. read more

I shop at Ross all the time, no matter the city, and I'm used to their stores being a bit messy--it's part of the fun when hunting for good deals. But the staff at this particular location were something else--rude and full of attitude! When the cashier asked me to grab a plastic bag, I accidentally pulled too hard, and the rest of the bags fell off the hook. As I was trying to put them back, she snapped, "You don't need more bags." Seriously? What kind of attitude is that? I guess she's just too used to customers making a mess and not picking up after themselves. Still, if she doesn't like her job, maybe she should find somewhere else. Customers aren't here to deal with her anger or frustration. read more

this is the second time i've had an issue with the same rude cashier. if you work in customer service you should know how to have a good customer service attitude and be willing to help and have patience, but no this rude cashier wants to have an attitude and have an annoyed look on her face you can see clear as day. as a customer who is spending 200+ on one transaction you should be more helpful wouldn't you say? the cashiers name is hannah and i would describe her as impatient, not helpful, most definitely not professional, and has a bad attitude. i think her manager needs to go over "customer service skills" because she can really use some. read more

This location is excellent! Located in a plaza off the the 60 fwy next to sprouts. I was happily surprised that this was opening in our city couple years ago considering there's not a lot of shopping stores. So this is my go to spot to hit for a quick gift or just need a little retail therapy in between grocery shopping next door. The store is clean compared to most Ross Stores and I find their selection pretty good. It's all about the hunt in discount department stores like this so definitely can't complain. It never fails that I'll come out with something especially when it comes to health and beauty items. On my last trip this week, I came out with Sunscreen that I normally pay $15 and up for $4.99 and shampoo and conditioner that are usually $11/$12 each and I got it for $4.99 each as well. And as for customer service... always have been attentive and the nicest! read more

This store stinks! As in barely has any good items. I typically will drive to a Ross in another city to find good stuff. I actually found some cute boots at the DB store in my size and purchased them, but I couldn't take the sticker off. Luckily it's on the bottom, but I bought several other items on the same day for my daughter's birthday and the store sticks those ugly stickers right on the merch and you can't take it off without leaving behind a sticky mess! Wish they could figure out a better way to price and label merch because it's such a pain to remove them. read more

This Ross Dress for Less location used to be one part of the former Kmart, now shared with Sprouts and the other unoccupied storefront at the end. This plaza has undergone a major renovation and looks nothing like it used to. Wonderful revamping of this plaza! At first, I was super excited when I found out a Ross was opening at this location but have only been to this location once. Truthfully, I had high hopes for this location and to have many great finds but the one time I was there, there was nothing that I wanted. I know, I know... bargain shopping is all about the hunt but I also do not like wasting my time. Since I did not interact with any employees, I cannot attest to the customer service here. Maybe it'll take a few more trips to find something but I'll just stick to the Sprouts next door and head to my go-to Ross location. Parking is aplenty and nicely spaced in-between for each car. read more

Best Ross around. Specific shout out to Raul who encourages the customers and the team while they hustle to count inventory. I'm not kidding about Raul. I was listening to music while browsing and he came walking up the center heading to the register and said HI so enthusiastically it startled me. Later as I waited in checkout Raul kept the pitch going throwing rhymes or songs or fortune cookie sayings or whatever is packed in his brain to the customers and the team. High key for sure! So I recently came to this plaza to check out Sprouts but instead I first went to Ross to see if they had anything that I could get. The store is pretty new and the parking lot has loads of parking since it shares it with Sprouts, Auto zone, Chipotle and even a Coffee Bean. Ross has never really been on top of my go to list for buying clothes but I still wanted just to see what all the hype is. So many people say this store is pretty good. I went inside and of course it was super empty but very organized. They do have a lot of clothes but the thing is it is only separated by men, women and children. It feels more like a thrift store to me. I did buy a pair of black yoga pants since I can't find any of my clothes since being back in LA. Overall I think if you do have time to spend and want to look through the racks, you might find something actually pretty good! read more

Had the worst experience there! I was robbed for my money they charged me twice refused to give me my merchandise. I will be contacting corporate. Very disrespectful manager named Abel handled the situation poorly. Didn't even try to help resolve the problem. I had receipts and bank statement proof that I was charged. It's a sad direction societies heading. I was in Diamond Bar today and just went to Ross dress for less by the 60 freeway on Diamond Bar Blvd. where I've been going for years and picked out a couple pair of jeans that I went to try on and the girl surprised me right away. I had the jeans in my hand and she said can you hang them on the rack for me and I'm thinking that's a little weird I've never heard that before. And then she proceeded to search all through the jeans to see if I stuffed anything down in there that I would possibly be trying to steal. It felt very awkward and I'm thinking do I look like a thief but then I'm thinking they probably tell her to do that because of all that's going on in this day and age so I let it slide in my mind and then I decided to buy the jeans, so I'm walking off with them and then another lady comes back there after I've walked off about 20 feet and goes or you going to buy both of those. Do you wanna bring one of them back and I'm like man they're definitely training these people to make sure nobody steals anything but it's a little intimidating and it's going to make a lot of people not wanna shop there anymore. Now I know why everybody's going online. I feel sorry for all the businesses getting ripped off but this is getting ridiculous that we have to live in a day and age like this wear the police won't do anything unless you steal over a $1000 worth of merchandise. Society is getting really warped, it is turning into a world we're they assume everybody stealing. And now if you do steal there's nothing they're going to do about it anyway so they have to just protect themselves and assume your stealing something. Its very intimidating. The layout has a nice flow to it. 2 stars for the staff that is hired here. 4 employees stood upfront for 10 minutes talking to each other while a line built for purchases. They all walked away. I was bored one day and decided to stop by Ross. Ross is one of my favorite stores, so I was excited to find great things. Upon entering, the store looked very clean and organized. The aisles were tidy, and things weren't all other the place. Selection wise, it seemed like they did not have much. I kept seeing the same things over and over again. The shoe section was actually really small. I usually find about 2-3 pairs of cute shoes, but this time I found none. The juniors section had a very small selection of jean shorts, but they had a lot of tops and t-shirts. The dress section was also very small. The initiates section was my favorite. They had a lot of cute Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger intimates. I literally had to stop myself from buying them because I would just become a bra hoarder LOL In the end, I picked up a super soft striped t-shirt, a tube top jumpsuit, and super soft wide leg pants for around $30. The staff was also super helpful and friendly. Gave this place 4 stars because of the selection read more

Store is messy. Racks are poorly stacked . Merchandise is mixed in and not marked correctly by sizes. Maybe due to short staffing. Compared to ither Ross locations this is very poor. read more

Rude manager Melissa, blonde hair accused my mother of stealing a wallet because she changed her mind on purchasing it, like all customers can do, and placed it down in a basket for an employee to put back. While my mother was paying, the Manager Melissa, told her cashier to ask my mother to bring back the wallet to the front. My mother confused, asked Melissa to walk with her to the basket to show where she left it there. Melissa told my mother "you need to put things back where you found it." As a manager or a sales associate if you see an item not in their right place, you do not tell the customer to walk back and put it away. We asked the Lost Prevention associate for the store managers number and we asked him about the situation and he himself said he had no idea why Melissa was singling out my mother, that he saw no reason to do that to my mom. They even chatted about how my mom has gone there, EVERY MORNING, for the past 5 days buying Christmas presents. She will no longer be returning. Great customer service Melissa, you do not bring in customers. I will be letting my neighbors know the new Ross is NOT neighbor friendly. read more

My aunt shops at this store all the time. The staff was not nice to her. She is 79, and uses a walker. When there is a cart near by she uses that cart instead of her walker. When she was ready to leave the store, she asked an associate if they could get a cart from outside for her to use to get to her car. The associate said no. My aunt asked for the manager and he said no, but he didn't even try to help her get to her car, with some help. She shopped there. Had a bag with things she had just bought. My family and friends are not going to that Ross store anymore. We will shop at another Ross, unless something happens again. Very unhappy with that manager! read more

The worker Francisco Lara was very nice to me. He helped me and guided me to all the sections I needed to go. He even gave me an Xbox. Been in here a few times since after opening, it still has that new store feel to it. Everyone inside is very nice. It has the same stuff as most other ross do, and it's right next to sprouts so you can do some grocery shopping after. The whole area is semi new as well, they are still building on the lot. The store has its clean and messy moments depending on how busy it is, but it's doing very well so far. read more

The workers at this Ross are always so rude. I come here all the time and never have a nice encounter. Specifically, whenever I encounter Raul he is antagonistic. I did not want to donate to a charity and he would not stop asking me in a condescending manner, trying to make me feel guilty for saying no. Very unprofessional. Another time as he is checking me out, he won't stop barking out orders at everyone after making us wait in line forever. I always know when he is working because I can hear him screaming even when I am at the back of the store. Additionally, Ross employees talk badly about customers as they are working and do not care that everyone in line can hear them. They also need to stop calling next in line when a customer is trying to put money back in their wallet. I will not be shopping here any longer. read more
