The store that Spirit Halloween took over was a Pier One so it was very nice. The cost of our customs were a little higher than in the big box stores, however, the quality of the fabric, and workmanship are top notch. But nowadays, they pretend they don't see you, but they do. We entered about 6pm last night, and we were not greeted upon entering. Not sure, if the hour was getting late or if the salespeople met their quota, but the "pretend you don't see me" vibe was super weird. I inquired about it... only to find out two pieces of the set are now discontinued... what!? Of all the items in the store, I would pick something that is no longer available. Not a lot of shoes, but not a big deal -- just a note. On my second visit and as a first-time consignor, I casually met Michelle (the owner) and wow, was she super pleasant! A genuine friendly customer exchange literally gives me a greater joy in supporting small businesses. They host a Facebook live showcasing new items every week. That's kinda cool. You can also shop online at any time. When you consign with them, you do not get any money on the spot; you get a check once a month. Overall, I find Michelle's to be a better experience than franchise consignment shops and I'm pretty sure you will, too.
