He can give you the history, the details on quality and is not pushy or try to over sale you. Once you meet him, he knows your name and will remember you by name on each return visit. I am a HUGE fan of this place…read more 1) Ulysses is THE MAN. With is help, he has introduced me into some excellent brands and helped me find some outstanding outfits and has done a lot to help me understand how things should fit. I've been to too many places that have told me that ill fitting clothing looked great, when in fact it did not. Ulysses will let you know when something isn't quite right as he wants you to look your best. When asked he has also pointed me to some excellent resources for me to learn more on the subject on how to dress like an adult. 2) The brands you will find at this store are not what you will find at your department store. That is because the brands here are a much better in fit, finish, and materials than what you will find elsewhere. 3) While the prices are a bit high, you are buying an item that is of much better quality material and finish. They also include free tailoring on items paid at full price. 4) End of season sales are a great time to save some coin. Keep an eye out for trunk shows as well.

And when I was ready to check out I had to move around to get someone to notice me and ask me if I was checking out and when I did get check out the associate that assist me was short with me and was not really getting welcomed vibes and when she gave me my receipt I was expecting like a typical shopping bag but I guess they do not do that or at least told me they do not. And when she was done she just kind of walked off . Overall experience was not terrible but it wasn't the best customer service interaction and I feel like as a business that serves with intent to make people feel welcome and appreciate it to find nostalgic pieces or even fashion in general should feel equally welcome and it just felt divided there . And I actually only stopped by because I was near the area and I was recommended by this by vintage store nearby. The only good thing that I can say is that the clothes options were really good and the price throughout the store was good and the way there organized the store was nice where you had a variety to pick from and I was able to find a lounge beach top with a black top and cargo pants skirt a perfect outfit for the beach or lunch date and more. Again, I wouldn't recommend going to this establishment other than buying clothes, but I hope in the future that they work on their customer service skills and treats people equally

MacArthur Center - To the left was the TCC Barnes & Noble; in the center, beyond the red and blue banners, was an entrance to Dillard's.

Basically a dead mall. I came here for parking to visit the scope arena, and a nearby fair. I didn't really walk around but the fact that the food court only had two operating restaurants tells me all I need to know. The theaters are closed and honestly most of the stores are closed as well. So overall, great for parking to visit nearby businesses but it is sad as I had great memories of this place from about 20 years ago. Time has not been kind to malls in VA, in general.

Right now, though I love walking through it and looking at the paintings and the graffiti type murals that's on display I also really enjoy all the different art spots everything from the youth center to the display of the governor school. There's even a little train museum here. They still have a couple of staples open such as slush and Auntie Annie's pretzels. It is sad to see the movie theater closed and it's one of the best places to park at if you have to go anywhere downtown it's pretty inexpensive. We went to a play over a Chrysler and I had to pay a dollar to park. I will forever love the mall and hopefully when they do rebuild, they keep a lot of of the old soul intact. Very, very selfie friendly bathrooms and plate area still intact
