I was at Golden Nugget and wanted some food. Looked around and saw Rosie's Cafe. Walking up there's plenty of seating. Waited to be seated close to 15 minutes. I was told because of a shift change. Some guy at the register walked over and took us to a table because we were there so long. Sat for a minute and a manager walked over and took care of us. The menu had a lot of options on there. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Plate. The Chicken Parmesan was ok....noodles with sauce was ok....maxed vegetables were good....garlic bread was ok. If you're in the area swing by.

Great service. Very friendly and personable. Could do without the smell of cigarettes but unfortunately it comes with the territory (here for work and this is where they put us). They are in fact open 24/7 again, except the first Tuesday of every month for a super deep clean of their restaurant. Food is decent in a pinch if you do not have a ride to other places. $2 charge if you take your food order to go.

They don't move real fast here but you get a pretty good meal at a great price. Servers are polite. Place is clean and well maintained and you will not drink your cup dry.

9/14/2024 On the way back from a very good fishing day.. Needed to use the restrooms.. Starving and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Ordered the Nugget burger and a blt.. Split in half to try ..both.. Really good burger and Blt.. Onion rings were big and crispy.. Fries could have been cooked longer.. Service attentive..

Service here was very fast. Food was good. The only thing I'd say is the service has no personality. We were greeted " what do you want to drink" Didn't have to wait for anything , food quality was great. The banana nut bread French toast is

Locals specials include $5 biscuits and gravy or $6 pancakes. The biscuits were huge but very dry and tasked like flour. The gravy covers what up well enough with huge portions. Was worth $5 obviously but not too much more. Service was slow and unconcerned about our experience but nothing wrong. All in all, an average diner in a casino.

First and foremost our server, Camisha was excellent! She was a comedian, kind, fast, organized and remembered everyone's order. We had a large group of 20+. She was able to split the bill with no problem. She was the highlight of our visit. The food wasn't bad either. Diner worthy. My monte Cristo sandwich was deep fried and tasty. Other items ordered were the chicken Parmesan, fried chicken, spaghetti, BLTA, chicken Alfredo, and more. The only complaint was about the Alfredo. I have to agree as I took a bite and it just didn't taste right. We all had a good laugh when the wine was served and came in plastic cups and one had a straw. I'm sure it was to identify which was cab or merlot. Someone ordered croutons to munch on. That was also a treat and we giggled over the specific appetizer that everyone wanted a bite of. It wasn't crowded and we all sat together. A good time was had by all.

I had a all-around horrible experience at the nugget which I had booked because it supposedly had a 24 hour restaurant and my first night I'm starving and they are steam cleaning the restaurant. I had to walk around late at night on streets with really sketchy folks on drugs on the streets looking for something finally had to come back and get Uber eats. I'll never stay here again or eat there. Locals tell me you'll get sick. 25 years of Burning Man for me coming back and staying in Reno and I will be telling my tens of thousands of friends never at the nugget. So I went to a place where I had to pay a resort fee even though I stayed in the casino tower and had a room where heating or air conditioning came out the same temperature and no matter what and there was a lot of black mold in the bathroom. I had to make a big deal to get them to do something for me and the most they were willing to do was waive the resort fee for the first of the two nights and no comp despite going there specifically since they had a 24 hour restaurant and I could save money and have my safety. Did I walked around hurt my body and then got treated very poorly by Management to rectify the situation. Oh and then they did move me to another room that was actually smaller than the one I paid for and the AC and heat were still complete crap.

Carved turkey club sandwich! If you love club sandwiches, then you need to stop in here when in Reno, Nevada. The keyword is carved turkey, I don't care for sliced turkey! This sandwich was one of the best! An abundance of carved turkey, so much that I had to place the chunks of turkey back in the sandwich because it kept falling out. This place is located in the nugget casino. You may feel put off as you enter and are in the casino because it is very much dated, but the restaurant is nice. The decor is early east coast with brick walls, coffered ceilings with crown molding, and bronze chandelier lighting. A very pleasant atmosphere. Back to the sandwich, I prefer mine without the center slice of bread, sourdough is my go to. And pay the extra for the avocado. Layers of bacon and I went with the onion rings-I was not disappointed. Lightly fried and not soggy yet thick and deliciously breaded. I have a few more days here so I intend on having this dish again!

We came to Rosie's to get a bite after a concert in the event center. They were doing petty good job concerning the hugh influx of people. The busboy was amazing. The food was good but not great. The Totchos were the bright spot on the plate. We will come back when we go to another concert as we wait for the crowd to clear out.

We were seated right away on a Sunday at 6pm before a big show in the theater. Unfortunately our table was not that clean. The chairs had crumbs and the floor below the table was riddled with food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful when I asked her if she could sweep it up. I ordered a $19 burger and fries which was very delicious. Immediately loved the vibe; colorful, mural filled space with many seating options, a lunch counter and an outdoor patio area. Super chill, friendly staff serving an eclectic clientele. I'd give it five stars if they were a bit more on point with the Cuban end of things. My wife and I are Anglos, but we're both Miami natives, so we're kind of purists when it comes to our Cuban stuff. This was definitely more "Latin inspired." We were looking forward to traditional pastelitos, but found they had more Mexican sweets and a guava and cheese brioche, which was delicious, but not authentic. Our Cuban sandwich had no pork and the wrong bread (and came with tortilla chips?), but the sandwich itself was quite tasty. And our cafe cubano was a nice coffee, but a bit thin and had only the amount of sugar a sane person would add, which is about a third of what would be in the real deal. So if you want authentic Cuban, this isn't really it. But if you're looking for good coffee and food served by cool people in a warm, funky environment, this place rocks.
