HUGE only $6.50! Choice of meat (chicken, beef, chorizo, pernil or gr beef - $1 extra for shrimp), comes w/mushrooms, onions, and peppers.

Bumping it up to 5 stars. First things first, it's a DELI with above average food for a deli and crazy cheap! Also, I absolutely ADORE the owners and staff! They are all super sweet! Really good Mexican food also! HUGE portions for the price! So happy it's a few blocks from my job!

Java Day Cafe specializes in Manhattan-style bagels that are hand-rolled, kettle-boiled, and baked…read morefresh every morning! They opened up in Teaneck about a year ago. There's no need to worry about street parking because they have a small parking lot up front. I stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon, craving a breakfast sandwich. Yes, I eat breakfast after 2pm... shoot me! The ambiance is a little more "elevated" than your usual deli. It's bright, clean, and modern with a good amount of seating. They also have wifi. I can see this also being a study/work spot during off-peak hours. They have a large variety of both breakfast and lunch options - bagels, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, burgers, salads, and savory sandwiches. Additionally, they also have tea, coffee, smoothies, and juices. What makes them stand out are their artisanal bagel flavors and gourmet cream cheese spreads. They have a lot of unique flavors, both sweet and savory. I ordered: *2 Eggs, Cheese and Meat Breakfast Sandwich ~$7 - I got mine with taylor ham and salt/pepper/ketchup on a toasted everything bagel. This was a satisfying and hearty meal! The bagel crust was crispy, while the interior was dense, fluffy, and chewy. The taylor ham was smoky and salty, which paired well with the creamy cheese and eggs. *Iced Coffee with milk & sugar ~$4 - The coffee was just okay. It was on the weaker side. A little too much milk. The service was friendly, welcoming, and quick. The employee let me sample a few of their cream cheeses. I also got to meet the chef, Miguel, who told me more about the business! I'll definitely be returning to try their artisanal bagels... I have my eyes on the french toast and parmesan ones!
