I see some of the COVID complaints here and have to chime in as a longtime patient. There are personal reasons as to why the doctor has had to enforce what some may see as extreme COVID precautions, and many patients are aware of this. I'm sure it has caused strain on the business but it is what it is, and I am confident they will bounce back in time.

I've not heard a word from them or Dr. Biscardi - this is not how you treat your patients.

I've lost track of how many friends & colleagues I've referred to ME over the years, and they've all been delighted too. Modern Eye are also great people. The eye doctor, Dr. Berger, was knowledgeable, precise, fast and just an all around very nice person. The contact appointment is pricey ($78 and not usually covered by most insurances); it's a bit pricier than my old place in Blue Bell, but not obscene. However while that is a bit pricey, the contacts are priced at the same rates as 1800contacts so I'll surely order through this office in the future. Plus, I was able to easily apply my Davis Vision benefits which almost completely covered a 6 month supply of 2-week contacts! The only complaint was I had a long wait, about an hour after my appointment was supposed to begin. But I think that was unusual because an eye emergency case walked in while I was waiting.

The staff is great and will help you understand the "options" but in the invoice, they will put that insurance should cover "xyz" My advice. Know your coverage. I am not completely blaming them, i own my mistakes. But, they will claim they know what your coverage is and i blindly trusted them 2x in a row. For example. my insurance will cover an exam once every 2 years. They told me it was every year. Silly me, i forgot to check my coverage before i went. So, they gave me invoice. said insurance would cover $175. When i knew after i left it won't, so now i need to pay an additional bill. Again, i know that it's my coverage, so i own that. They act as trusted advisors who guide you with options. To be quite frank, it's honestly pretty confusing at times.
